From Arsenal to the Ball God

”Queen Elizabeth is watching from a more secluded box. I wonder if she’ll come outside to greet everyone once the match starts.

”This is Tom Brady, the greatest quarterback in NFL history!

”This is Dido, the British powerhouse singer! Standing next to her is Jagger from the Rolling Stones!

”This match is truly a star-studded event. Now appearing on the screen are three sports stars very familiar to the British audience: Farah, Hamilton, and Murray.”

”Ah... The much-anticipated Kim Kardashian has appeared on screen. Is she really an Arsenal fan, though? That remains to be proven. But the people beside her are all wearing Arsenal jerseys!

”Her outfit today is quite simple, without heavy makeup, just like a mother watching the game with her child!

”Of course, it’s well known that from this angle, you can’t appreciate Kim Kardashian’s figure unless she stands up... OK, let’s get serious!

”Before the match, it was rumored by the media that Real Madrid’s president Florentino and Barça’s coach Guardiola would be in the stands to observe the young star ’Ma’el.’ They must be very interested in him.

”However, even if they attend, we might not spot them in the stands since these figures prefer to keep a low profile at Arsenal matches.

”The players from both teams seem to be in the tunnel, but due to the sheer number of celebrities present, the cameras are still focused on introductions.

”Who is this?

”It should be the French National Team coach Deschamps, who will soon lead the France team in the European Cup this June!

”Today’s Arsenal squad features several potential members of the French National Team, including Ma’el, Sagna, and Koscielny.

”Sagna wasn’t included in the last call-up, but if they win the championship with Arsenal, Deschamps is sure to take notice!

”Alright, everyone must be feeling the fiery atmosphere. Let’s all focus our attention on the pitch and await the epic showdown!”

...

”Beep beep!”

”Dun dun dun dun... dun dun...!”

Accompanied by the entrance music, the players from both teams, hand in hand with the young mascots, emerged from the Emirates Stadium, stepping onto the humid field.

Ma’el was third in the Arsenal Team’s lineup. He turned his head to gaze at the stadium filled with a sea of people, smiling and waving to greet the Arsenal fans.

”Aha...!!” Amidst the cheers, he noticed a particularly enthusiastic group of fans in one section, holding up a banner.

It was composed of dozens of differently-shaped banners depicting his shooting actions in various colored Arsenal jerseys.

He quickly realized these represented his 38 Premier League goals this season, with each shot’s action captured.

Ma’el’s lips curled into a smile, his face a bit moved... As if in a slideshow, each match and goal from this journey flashed before his eyes.

Once all those wonderful moments were recollected, he turned his eyes to the turf in front of him, at the grand Emirates Stadium.

It’s time to summarize this season with one match. His hard work and sacrifices deserve a league championship trophy!

After completing the final opening ceremony on the field, he moved towards the left winger position, readying himself.

”Come on Arsenal...! Come on Arsenal...!! Come on Arsenal...!!”

The thunderous cheers erupted from the stands, with the hopes of the fans embedded in those supportive chants.

Ma’el could feel their emotions, his breathing growing heavier, his thirst for victory escalating.

Even though it was still at the Emirates Stadium, surrounded by the same people, with the unchanged sounds of the fans,

he knew that this was undoubtedly going to be a different match!

Would they graciously lift the champion’s trophy amid a chorus of praises, or walk off the field in regret amidst deafening silence... The choice is in their hands!

Everything has led up to this point, and they must strive for the former!

As if reminded of something, Ma’el smiled and waved towards a section of the A stand’s box area, forming a heart with his hands.

His five family members, five team members, as well as Mendes, Isabella, and others were watching from above. He promised them he’d send a heart before the match.

”Ah...!” A scream erupted, with the Arsenal fans in the same stand thinking Ma’el was signaling to them.

Only those in the box above knew, or to be precise, only Isabella, who was screaming along with everyone else, understood what Ma’el truly meant.

”Clap clap clap...!”

On the sidelines, Wenger, dressed in a black suit today, clapped enthusiastically and shouted to Ma’el, ”Come on! You can do it! Get us that damn championship trophy! Go!”

Hans also clapped vigorously with flushed cheeks, shouting, ”Two hours from now, it’ll be Arsenal celebrating on the field! Ma’el, we all believe in you, don’t be nervous!”

Today, both were uncharacteristically emotional, which was understandable, given the stakes of this match, equating to a grand showdown.

Ma’el waved to acknowledge the two, then, amidst the surrounding noise, focused his attention on the pitch.

”Beep!” At that moment, the referee blew the whistle to signal the start of the match. The Premier League’s 36th round championship battle kicked off at the Emirates Stadium!
