Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 367: Chapter 367: First Time Ice Skating

”Not sure if I can, I’ve never skated before, but I’m interested.” Justin Kingston watched enviously at those gracefully dancing figures, ”Being young is great, full of energy everywhere.”

Mia Lane was worried for him, ”But falling would hurt a lot.”

”Are you saying I’m too old to handle a fall?” he gave her a playful head rub, his eyes full of affection.

”...” Mia shook her head, her eyes filled with laughter.

”Let’s change shoes and gear up.” Justin didn’t hesitate, ”Trust me, we can do this.”

Mia hadn’t skated for several years either.

But hearing the familiar and exciting music, seeing couples holding hands happily together.

The dim colored lights kept changing, casting mottled shadows on the shiny floor.

The BGM echoed, not exactly classy or vulgar, but it was a memory of an era.

She finally felt tempted, after all, she was young.

So together with Justin, she put on skating shoes and told him, ”I used to be pretty good, once I get the hang of it, I’ll take you flying.”

The man smiled without replying, took her hand, interlocking their fingers tightly, directly pulling her along!

He was steady, forceful, his skating moves were handsome and skilled, clearly an expert!

”Wow! You tricked me?” Mia was shocked.

”No, I didn’t trick you.” Justin glanced back at her, ”It’s my first time skating, but I’m not dumb, I learn most things by watching once.”

”So confident.” Mia knew, he had that kind of self-assurance.

Not dwelling on whether he was a pro, everyone was happy, having him around made her feel incredibly safe.

This newlywed couple, the grand president of Kingston Group, appearing in a small town skating rink, such news would easily make the headlines.

”Wow, slow down!” It was so exciting, Mia clung tightly to his arm, almost hanging entirely on him.

They quickly blended into the world of the young.

Justin may have been the oldest here, but he didn’t seem old at all, he was handsome and charming.

After two hours at the rink, seeing how much she enjoyed it, Justin played along to her heart’s content, as if rediscovering his own youthful days.

As a fashionable entertainment project of the 80s and 90s, Justin knew it was much-loved by girls.

Here, all skinship became reasonable, hinting at the shyness of young love.

The young bodies emitted the hormones of youth, freely roaming with a pair of skates.

Justin handed her a bottle of water, sitting with her to rest.

Mia watched those figures, feeling a bit nostalgic all of a sudden, showing off, performing tricks, flirting, bumping.

”Being young is great.” Mia looked at those teens, she felt their lives were just beginning, ”I hope they all marry the one beside them in the future.”

Justin gave her another playful head rub, ”Probably hard.”

Leaving the skating rink, Justin took her to a small tavern, the environment was truly elegant, in an ancient style.

It was somewhat similar to a stilt house, with a small river outside the window.

Compared to the environment of the skating rink, there was a unique charm here, easily calming the mood.

”Come work at the company.” Justin sat opposite her, sincerely inviting her again, ”Anyway, you’re idle at home.”

She looked up.

He quickly corrected himself, ”I didn’t mean you have to work, I can support you.”

She smiled, quietly watching him.

Listening as he continued, ”You’re still young, staying home all the time is boring, I believe you have the ability.”

”Oh Justin, your company’s vice president position, I have no interest at all.” Mia took a sip of the wine, emphasizing, ”I never even thought about joining your company.”

”Think of it as me inviting you, okay?” In the strands of sunlight streaming in through the window, Justin looked calm and composed, ”I want to go to and from work with you every day, spend more time together, and I believe you can certainly do the job.”

Just then, Mia’s phone rang with an email notification sound.

”Hold on a moment.” She took out her phone and upon seeing the sender, she was slightly stunned... her brows furrowed lightly.
