Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 361: Chapter 361: Unprecedented Overnight Stay

After Mary went upstairs, only two people were left in the living room downstairs.

The lights embedded in the ceiling gave a golden hue to the furniture.

Justin Kingston held Mia Lane’s shoulders, gazing at her deeply. He leaned slightly forward, gently resting his forehead against hers, ”I’m sorry for what you’ve been through.”

”Don’t say that, we agreed to face everything together.” She was already very determined, ”No matter what happens in the future, no matter how your mom reacts, I will never leave you again.”

With those words from her, he felt very reassured.

A wave of warmth surged through Justin Kingston’s heart, and he couldn’t help but pull her into his arms, ”Thank you, my love.”

Mia Lane wrapped her arms around his waist, gently resting her cheek against his warm chest, listening to his heartbeat, she also felt very reassured.

After Mary went upstairs, she quickly tidied up the room, feeling elated.

”Mr. Kingston, Ma’am!” Mary peeked her head out from the corner of the stairs, ”The room is ready!” Seeing them happily embracing each other, Mary was extremely joyful.

Happiness really is infectious.

Justin Kingston released Mia Lane, took her hand, exchanged a deep look, and then intertwined their fingers as he led her upstairs.

Mary stood on the stairs happily waiting for them.

”It’s getting late, so you should rest early too.” Justin Kingston came to Mary, speaking to her warmly, ”Don’t tell my mom, just prepare our breakfast for tomorrow, and that’s all.”

”Yes!” Mary was extremely excited.

She turned to watch them go upstairs, and as their figures disappeared, the smile on Mary’s face lingered long after.

It was only after they went upstairs that Mary started to move.

Just as she was about to return to her bedroom, the door not far away opened, and Kristina Kingston appeared at the entrance.

Mary’s steps halted, meeting her gaze, ”Ma’am...” She steadied her tone.

Kristina Kingston noticed the Lamborghini parked downstairs.

She didn’t say anything, just looked at Mary with a cool gaze.

Justin came, why was there no report? Why so quiet?

”Mr. Kingston and Miss Lane are here.” Mary walked towards her with a light smile, ”They’re staying here tonight. They didn’t want to disturb you since you were asleep and even asked me to prepare tomorrow’s breakfast.”

This surprised Kristina Kingston, ”Staying here?” It was completely unexpected for her.

Her son couldn’t remember the last time he stayed over here.

Mary pointed her finger at the door, in her view this was a change in Mr. Kingston.

”Good night, ma’am.” Mary bowed and paid respect, then waved her hand, ”You rest early too.” She left happily, hoping the lady would be moved.

Mary was the kind of exceptionally kind girl who had watched many idol dramas and only wished for lovers to become family.

Early the next morning.

Mary got up early, she thought of the breakfast menu while washing up, and was humming a tune as she went downstairs, only to be startled to find someone sitting on the sofa!

Ma’am?

She paused her steps for a moment, then quickly went downstairs, ”Ma’am, why are you up so early?”

”Insomnia.” Kristina Kingston was wearing a purple cheongsam today, looking elegant and aloof.

”...” Mary came beside her, ”Did you...not sleep all night? Or did you just get up?” Observing her expression.

Kristina Kingston lifted her eyes to look at her, the two of them exchanged glances for a few seconds, clearly she wouldn’t answer.

”Then should I go make breakfast?” Mary, despite feeling good, toned down her smile, ”Is there anything specific you’d like to eat?”

”Anything.” Kristina Kingston didn’t feel like eating, she was waiting for the two upstairs to wake up.

She wanted to hear what they had to say.
