Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 355: Chapter 355: I Guess You’re Feeling Sad

The expensive seaside villa, the second-floor terrace entwined in green vines.

Anton Miller leaned against the railing, the fresh breeze tousling his hair and flipping his collar.

Not far away were sunny beaches and rows of coconut trees.

The face that captivated many girls with its cool and handsome look bore a hint of sorrow today, his chest tightened.

The director called in the morning, asking why he hadn’t gone to the set yet. Was he stuck in traffic?

He had just taken a leave from the director over the phone, saying he was not in the right mood to shoot today.

The director couldn’t say much, given his current popularity and high online presence.

He placed his hands on the railing, slightly bending forward, looking at the clouds drifting on the horizon.

Just like the days when Justin Kingston was unconscious, Mia Lane also stared dazedly at the clouds on the horizon.

She left... the villa became very quiet.

A Maserati pulled up outside the yard, the window rolled down, and Sean Dalton turned his eyes, spotting the figure of a man on the second-floor terrace. What was he doing?

Sean Dalton turned off the car, carrying two bottles of specially brought ’82 Lafite and got out.

The side gate of the courtyard wasn’t closed. She walked into the yard, striding toward the living room, her gaze falling on Anton Miller.

His eyes were deep, his brow slightly furrowed; it was clear his mood was not good.

As she approached, Anton Miller saw her figure in the courtyard, his eyes lifted slightly, and their gazes met for a few seconds. Why was she here?

Before Anton Miller could stop her, Sean Dalton quickened her pace into the living room.

In the living room, Ms. Tancred was coming out of the tea room and met her, ”...” Ms. Tancred didn’t have time to say anything before Sean Dalton swiftly went upstairs.

”Hey, Miss Dalton!” Ms. Tancred came to her senses, quickly arriving at the staircase!

”Your Young Master is on the terrace, he’s in a bad mood. I’m here to have a drink with him!” She spoke as she continued walking, her silhouette quickly vanishing.

Ms. Tancred knew the Young Master was on the terrace and saw her carrying two bottles of wine, so she didn’t forcibly stop her.

Perhaps having someone to chat with the Young Master would lift his spirits.

All morning he just stood there watching the clouds, without saying a word.

Today is Mr. Kingston and Miss Lane’s wedding day, and the Young Master got up at five o’clock, didn’t even have breakfast, and has been gazing from the terrace, much like a melancholic young maiden.

Hearing approaching footsteps, Anton Miller turned and sat down in a wicker chair by the coffee table.

He reclined lazily there, his right foot resting on his left leg, exuding an air of confidence.

Sean Dalton, in a red long dress, walked over in high heels, taking a seat uninvited, placing the two fine bottles of wine on the coffee table.

”It wouldn’t be the director who sent you over, would it?” Anton Miller glanced at her coolly, doubtful.

”Of course not.” Sean Dalton smiled, ”I came here entirely on my own behalf.”

He didn’t smile, his expression was a bit cold, his gaze fell on those two expensive bottles of Lafite, still indifferent.

”I watched the wedding livestream; it was grand and romantic.” Sean Dalton opened a bottle and poured some into a goblet, ”I guessed you might be upset, after all, I got up early to shoot, and you weren’t there, I got bored at home, so I came to see you.”

”I’m not upset.” Anton Miller said calmly, ”You’re overthinking it.”

”I hope I am overthinking it, then.” She elegantly lifted her wine glass.

The wedding of the century, where every detail was arranged warmly and romantically.

Once Monica Usher left, the scene returned to calm, everything ran smoothly.

Young and handsome waiters mingled among the guests, while the live violin music played melodiously.

Justin Kingston, with an arm around Mia Lane’s shoulder, toasted guests one by one, his voice warm and charming, ”Thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to attend my and Mia’s wedding.”

”It’s our honor, wishing CEO Kingston and Mrs. Kingston a lifetime of happiness together.” The guests raised their glasses.

”Thank you.”

Justin clinked glasses with them, sipping a bit of wine, his gaze silently searching the room but not spotting his mother’s figure, nor her car.
