Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 193: Chapter 193: Picking Sides Is Obvious

”Okay!” With that, Monica Usher turned around and went to the car to get her professional photography equipment.

Mary accompanied the lady upstairs to pick out clothes.

Over the years, Kristina Kingston mostly wore long sleeves, wrapping herself tightly, so she hadn’t bought many clothes. She didn’t go out, nor look in the mirror.

”Madam, the lady’s clothes are very beautiful,” Mary said to her.

Kristina Kingston lightly parted her lips, ”From now on, the lady is Monica, you need to change the way you address her.”

”...” Mary lowered her eyes and fell silent.

But Kristina Kingston still focused her gaze on the dresses brought from Emerald Cove, of various styles, beautiful enough to intoxicate.

She had Mary act as an advisor, and together they discussed and selected a few styles.

Monica Usher marveled at Justin Kingston’s extravagance, buying her so many dresses. Even if she wore a new one for every evening event, it would take her ten or eight years to wear them all!

The makeup and styling were also done by Monica Usher herself, truly deserving of the title of an all-around competent woman.

Kristina Kingston changed into a short-sleeved cheongsam, her figure still quite full, with her curly hair coiled beside her ear, adorned with a jade hairpin.

There were subtle crow’s feet at the corners of her eyes, but her smile radiated the charm of a mature woman, exuding a nostalgic aura.

In her younger days, she must have been a rare beauty.

Monica Usher’s photography skills were excellent, and she was filled with patience—

”Auntie, tilt your chin up just a little, yes, this angle is perfect.”

”Auntie, place your foot like this.” She demonstrated, ”This way, the photo will look more casual.”

It took two hours, four outfits, and nearly a hundred photos were taken.

Kristina Kingston felt that Monica Usher helped her regain her confidence, from being initially uncomfortable to later facing the camera very naturally. Her smile became increasingly confident.

The photos turned out more beautiful with each one.

Mary watched this scene from the side, her eyes gradually moistening.

Since the lady was injured, she even rejected looking in the mirror, but now she confidently embraced the camera.

Monica Usher said she would touch up the photos a little, then print them into an album as a gift, which was exactly what the lady wanted.

”Monica, why don’t you sleep in my bed with me tonight?” Kristina Kingston held her hand, her eyes warm, ”It’s been so long since we slept together.”

”Sure.” For Monica Usher, this was an honor, how could she possibly refuse?

After bathing, she wore Mia Lane’s pajamas and lay on Kristina Kingston’s bed.

The main light turned off, the bright moonlight shone through the window, the evening breeze carried floral scents into her nose, causing Monica Usher’s slightly bittersweet heart to no longer ache subtly.

Will Mrs. Kingston support her side?

”Monica,” Kristina Kingston recalled past events, ”Auntie is especially grateful for what you’ve done for the corporation over the years, for Justin. Auntie is truly touched.”

”You raised me, and I repay the corporation. It’s what I should do,” Monica Usher didn’t claim credit for herself, always selfless, ”As for my contributions to Justin, it’s because I really like him.”

”So, are you willing to marry him?”

”I am willing.” Monica Usher had lost all perspective in love, ”I even dream about it.” It’s just...he’s already married, and every time she thought about that fact, her heart still felt like it was being pricked by needles.

”Mia has already agreed to leave him,” Kristina Kingston said, ”If it weren’t for Justin insisting on taking her to Aethelburg today, she would already be on the flight to Ottawa.”

Monica Usher was slightly startled, ”She would agree to leave?”

”She agreed,” Kristina Kingston said, ”When she returns, I will still have Jerry Garcia send her away. She’s not right for Justin, and from my judgment of her, she’s not a simple girl. She must have a purpose in approaching Justin.”

Hearing these words, Monica Usher couldn’t have been happier!

In the darkness, she smiled, like spring flowers blooming, even the corners of her eyes carried the fragrance of flowers.
