Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 184: Chapter 184: The Children’s Decision

Mary bowed after the greeting and went back to her room holding the medicine box.

Kristina Kingston wore a mask today, as she hadn’t fully recovered. She stopped in front of Mia Lane, her gaze indifferent.

”Madam, all the medication has been developed and just handed to Mary,” Mia asked her, ”Can I stay with the kids for a few more days? It hasn’t been a month yet.”

”You’ve calculated the time very clearly,” Kristina’s expression remained cold, ”A few days more or less doesn’t really matter, because I won’t change my decision.”

”It’s extremely significant to me,” Mia’s eyes were equally indifferent, as if completely unconcerned with her attitude, ”The children are mine.”

Kristina focused her gaze on her, and Mia bravely met her eyes.

”Fine.” In the end, she agreed, ”After these days you must completely disappear, leave the Kingston family in peace, I will thank you.”

After speaking, Kristina passed by her without looking back and left.

Today is Saturday, sunshine sprinkling over the lush lawn outside the window, countless light dots jumping on the rose vine, and when the breeze blows through the leaves, these beautiful little light dots become very dazzling.

Mia strolled in the garden with her children, gazing deeply at the blue sky and white clouds, the smile on her lips tinged with a hint of sadness.

The medicine hasn’t been fully applied, there’s still at least one month’s worth to go.

If she doesn’t leave, Kristina will refuse to use the medication.

Actually, these days Mia has been considering one thing, whether to take the children away with her.

On one side is daddy, on the other is mommy.

And the children are already six years old, they also have their own independent thoughts, no one has the right to make any decisions for them.

No one asked them if they wanted to be born at that time.

”Gigi, Dolly.” She smiled and asked, ”If mommy were to go traveling far away and for a long time, would you stay to accompany daddy or go with mommy?”

”I want to stay with daddy!” Gigi blurted out, and gave a reason, ”Daddy promised to teach me fencing, he’s personally my coach! I want to learn skills from him! He said I will inherit the group in the future!”

Dolly also said, ”I want to stay with daddy too. Mommy has taken care of us for six years, worked so hard, it’s time to travel and relax to ease her mind, I don’t want to be your burden!”

At this moment, Mia painfully made a decision, which was to respect the children’s choice and not take them away.

”Then when mommy is not here, you must obediently listen to daddy’s words!”

”Okay!”

”You should take daddy as a role model and work hard to learn from him.”

”Got it!”

The Kingston Group.

The bright and spacious CEO office on the 22nd floor.

Finn Morgan went down to deliver documents; only Justin Kingston was here now.

He sat in the custom office chair, absent-mindedly playing with the keychain, holding this cute girl in his palm, his lips inadvertently showing a faint smile.

The phone rang, it was the girl calling, he was pleasantly surprised and quickly answered, ”Are you missing me?”

”Do you have a personal cup?” Mia asked him, her voice like honey.

Justin glanced at the custom cup beside the computer, ”I do, you don’t need to buy me one, are you at the mall?”

”I’m not buying one for you,” she said, ”I’m asking for yours, the one you use, can you give it to me?”

”If you like it, you can take it back.” He said generously, ”I’ve used it for over twenty years, it’s quite old, but still perfectly intact.” He picked up the cup and looked at it, adding, ”It’s pretty good looking too.”

”Thank you.” Mia smiled slightly, ”You get back to your work, I won’t disturb you.”

He originally wanted to chat with her a while, but she hung up the phone.

Justin put down the phone, holding the keychain in one hand, and the cup in the other, he smiled and shook his head, eyes full of tender affection.

This little fool, how did she think of asking him for his tea cup?
