Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 182: Chapter 182: I Found Out One More Thing

Mary was taken aback for a moment, then smiled, ”This is simple, isn’t she here? Just let her do it.” It’s rare for the mistress to speak up.

”...” Kristina Kingston hesitated, would her son be upset if he knew?

And she also wanted to save face; she didn’t want Mia Lane to know that she missed her cooking today!

Having been with her for many years, Mary immediately guessed what was on her mind, bent down to her ear with a warm smile, and said, ”Madam, leave this matter to me. I’ll talk to her and make sure it has nothing to do with you.”

Watching Mary go upstairs, Kristina Kingston sighed softly.

Mia Lane had just developed a new bottle of medicine, and she happily labeled it by hand.

”Ma’am.” Mary came in, and when she wasn’t in front of the mistress, she always called her that.

Mia Lane glanced over, ”Mary.” Then she joyfully waved the bottle in her hand, ”Look, this is today’s research result. With it, all necrotic skin has hope for recovery!”

”You’re amazing!” Mary admired her from the bottom of her heart, ”If these medicines go into mass production, they will benefit humanity!”

”Yes, I will send the samples to the research department, hoping to help more people in the future.”

Mary was touched, and her heart was complicated. She earnestly said, ”Ma’am, I apologize on behalf of the mistress.”

”...” Mia Lane was slightly stunned, then smiled, ”Let’s forget about the past, I understand her.”

”Ma’am, can you personally cook tonight?” Mary asked directly, ”I want Mr. Kingston to have a meal with the mistress. I heard Mr. Kingston only enjoys your cooking.”

Mia Lane would never refuse anything that could ease the mother-son relationship.

”Of course.” She agreed readily, ”Please talk to the mistress on that side; after all, this is Clearwater Bay, and it would be awkward to make a fuss, especially with the children here.”

”Rest assured, I’ll persuade her.” Mary was very pleased, ”I won’t disturb you then! Just come down when you think it’s time.”

”Thank you.”

Mary bowed to her, ”Ma’am, I should be the one thanking you!”

Shortly after Mary left, Mia Lane glanced at the time and began to wrap up her work.

About ten minutes later, she went downstairs into the kitchen, tied on an apron, and began to work orderly.

In the living room.

Kristina Kingston picked up the landline and dialed her son’s number, telling him, ”Justin, your wife is personally cooking dinner tonight. You should come home early, so our family can have a nice dinner together.”

”Great.” Justin Kingston was delighted, ”Mom, she says you really like her cooking. I’ll learn from her and cook for you when I get the chance.”

Kristina Kingston’s expression changed; how could an aristocratic man raised with a silver spoon like him possibly cook?

After the call ended, she felt a sense of dread. Mia Lane was gradually infiltrating her son!

If they continued to interact, her son would completely change.

One should marry someone who loves them, not someone they love; otherwise, it will be exhausting.

A car stopped in the yard, and Kristina Kingston focused her gaze as Jerry Garcia got out, holding a file bag, and quickly walked toward the living room.

”Madam.” Jerry Garcia approached the coffee table and bowed to her.

Kristina Kingston’s gaze fell on the bag in his hand. She stood up, ”Follow me.”

A minute later, in a secluded lounge.

Kristina Kingston sat in an armchair, and Jerry Garcia took out ten paternity tests from the file bag, handing them to her, and quietly said, ”I tested every strand of hair you sampled. These two children are definitely the Kingston family’s blood.”

He said, ”The reason the results took so long is that they were tested by several different authoritative institutions, and the conclusion was the same.”

Kristina Kingston’s half-suspended heart finally relaxed; at least the issue with the children didn’t embarrass Justin Kingston.

If the media were to expose that the children weren’t the Kingston family’s bloodline, people would laugh at her son’s intelligence.

”Madam, I also found out something.” Jerry Garcia hesitated, unsure if he should speak truthfully.
