Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 175: Chapter 175: Justin Kingston Is Back

Kristina Kingston stared at her with a thin layer of anger, thinking, how has this girl become a different person?

She withdrew her gaze, composed herself, and walked towards the window, her voice indifferent, ”I don’t want to strain my relationship with my son, so you should know what to do without me teaching you.”

Mia Lane looked at the back, she said, ”I love him more than you do. I will love who he loves.”

Kristina Kingston froze, caught the implicative meaning, ”Are you saying that I don’t understand love?” She halted and turned around, her cold eyes shot towards her.

The two women’s gazes met, Mia Lane softly said, ”No, you do. It’s just that everyone has a different way of loving.”

Kristina Kingston didn’t want to get angry with her, though she felt annoyed, ”When you come back, you two are not allowed to sleep together.”

”...” Mia Lane was speechless.

”Moreover, I’ll give you only a month to develop the medication, don’t think about staying here too long!” Kristina Kingston stated unyieldingly, ”Starting from tomorrow is the first day, whether you can do it depends on your ability.”

She was worried that her son’s feelings for her would deepen further, making it harder to separate them.

Mia Lane was silent for a moment, ”I can’t guarantee one hundred percent it will be a month.”

”Aren’t you the most famous Pharmacist?” Kristina Kingston sneered, mocking her, ”Could all the honors you’ve received be fake? Did you depend on relationships with men?”

Mia Lane didn’t know what more to say, Kristina Kingston’s thoughts were too biased.

All her excessive demands, Mia Lane could only accept unconditionally, simply because she was Justin Kingston’s mother.

In the evening.

The Lamborghini steadily parked in the courtyard of Clearwater Bay, Justin Kingston brought the kids back.

”Hello Mr. Kingston, hello Young Master Gigi, hello Miss Dolly!”

The housekeeper and servants came out to greet them.

Helping them carry big and small bags, all were gifts the kids brought back from abroad for their grandmother.

In a bedroom upstairs, Mia Lane locked the door.

Seated in front of the dressing table, she applied layer after layer of concealer on her face, her cheeks were still a bit swollen, she used her hair to cover it slightly, this time the anti-swelling ointment was completely ineffective.

Downstairs in the living room was a scene of joyful harmony.

As soon as the kids came in, they rushed into Kristina Kingston’s arms!

”Grandma! We missed you so much!”

”Grandma, is your health better?”

”Much better, thanks to your mommy.” Kristina Kingston said with a smile, stroking the children’s heads, ”Did you have fun abroad?”

”Fun! We even participated in the equestrian club!”

After greeting his mother, Justin Kingston went upstairs directly, filled with apology and anticipation.

In the living room downstairs, Kristina Kingston watched her son’s back disappear at the corner of the stairs, she turned to Mary, ”Take Gigi and Dolly out to play.”

”Yes, ma’am.”

Mary happily took the children away, and the living room suddenly became quiet.

Jerry Garcia, dressed in a suit, came to Kristina Kingston, quietly took out two sample bags, Kristina Kingston put a few strands of hair inside, one on each side, Jerry Garcia packed away the bags and quickly stepped out of the living room, within a short while, the car drove away.

Indeed, Kristina Kingston was going to do another paternity test.

Mia Lane wasn’t a simple woman, approaching Justin Kingston definitely with an agenda, and has already sent Jerry Garcia to investigate whether Mia Lane had any interaction with Justin Kingston seven years ago, believing results will be available soon.

Driving away this complicated-identity woman was for protecting her son, and matchmaking Monica Usher with Justin Kingston was secondary.

In a bedroom upstairs.

Mia Lane opened the door, noticed Justin Kingston just raised a hand to knock, he stepped forward and hugged her tightly, as if they hadn’t met for centuries.

Mia Lane’s bright eyes filled with astonishment.

Smelling the faint herbal scent emanating from her, Justin Kingston felt his heart fully filled, it was a particularly satisfying feeling.

”Justin Kingston...” She reluctantly stretched out a hand to close the door.

He hunched like a child, lying on her shoulder.

The next moment, he loosened her, cupped her face with both hands, his thin lips about to press down when she let out a pain-filled hiss.

”What’s wrong?” He quickly released her hand, frowning with concern, noticing her swollen face, ”What happened to your face?”

Asking urgently, he reached out to lift the hair hanging by her cheek, but Mia Lane grabbed his hand.
