The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

The sky above the outside world is cracking, and people are panicking. The Overlord and Grand Elders are ready to face whatever may come out of the cracks.

They stood ready to handle the battles that may come.

Meanwhile, Klaus, who was the cause of this, continued to speak with Nyxthar for a few more minutes before a sigh escaped his mouth.

“You are now under the gaze of the heavens, and as such, they are sending down an Annihilation Tribulation. However, you are not ready yet,” Klaus said, shaking his head.

The Metal Puppet Doll Ant he had met was a being the heavens frowned upon. However, even then, they did nothing to it, for they had some tolerance—and some control over it.

However, the being standing before Klaus now is something the heavens would not allow to grow. They will do anything possible to prevent his rise, for this is a being they do not have even a strand of control over.

He carries the blood of a Paragon, and that blood is what will prevent the heavens from preventing such a being from rising. So, they are trying to send a tribulation to annihilate him.

However, the target remains elusive.

“I can sense the pull, Master. However, like you said, I am not ready, but we don’t have a choice. It’s either I go back to sleep, or I face it and try my luck,” Nyxthar said.

The ladies watching and listening remained lost, for they did not understand what the two were talking about.

In this regard, their language was not English or any Earth-like language. However, even without understanding, they could tell the conversation was about something very serious.

“I have a way to prevent this tribulation… well, it will be more like postponing it, but it will stop it for now,” Klaus said with a smile.

“This will give you all the time and chance to grow. You are a Void being, so I will send you to a place where the Law of the Void is visible and can be comprehended easily.

When you progress and are ready to face the heavens, I will know and come to get you. By then, I will also make preparations on my end.”

“Okay, Lord Paragon,” Nyxthar said.

Klaus sighed. He then focused his attention on the ladies and smiled. “I will be away for ten minutes. Just wait for me here. I promise I will explain everything.”

They nodded, and Klaus summoned the Multi-Dimensional Cube.

The two vanished inside and appeared in the same lush environment Klaus, and the Mutant beast appeared in a few days ago. Immediately, Klaus snapped his fingers, and a Void portal opened.

It was similar to the Chaos Region. However, someone like Nyxthar, a Void stage expert, could see the laws plainly and comprehend them.

“Let’s go,” Klaus said. He touched Nyxthar, and they vanished through the portal, appearing atop an immortal platform.

“This is where you will spend the next couple of months. Just focus on your training, and when things are ready, I will come to get you,” Klaus instructed.

Nyxthar nodded and shrunk to 1.5 meters tall. His armor vanished, but even so, his skin was metallic, with golden runes lining it. The runes are a result of Klaus’s blood running through his veins.

He sat down and began comprehending the Law of the Void. In the outside world, one would have to enter the Void to comprehend it, but being inside it for a long time had downsides.

However, inside this place, no harm would come to him.

“I will be leaving now,” Klaus said.

He vanished and reappeared in the lush environment. He looked around for a few minutes before vanishing back to the outside world, where his ladies immediately swarmed him.

“Who was that, Klaus? And where did you take him?” Lily asked as soon as Klaus appeared. Klaus didn’t answer immediately. Instead, he first looked at Asha and smiled.

“Your companion cannot help you at the moment. The evolution took an unexpected turn, and as such, you will have to get a new one,” Klaus explained.

Asha nodded, knowing from the start that the ant who had approached her months ago had now become an existence she could not handle at her current level.

“But where did you take him?” she asked.

“I took him to a place where he can train and get ready for when we need him. For now, we must focus on our strength and see where that takes us,” Klaus replied.

“I was hoping he would become our secret weapon against the Tier 11 being in this world, but…” Nari said with a sigh.

“Don’t worry, we are stronger than you think,” Klaus laughed, knowing the next step was to uncover the identities of the new Tier 11 beings popping up out of nowhere.

He may not have the strength to solo a Tier 11 existence, but he could kill one if given just one opening.

He would be going after them soon, but until then, he would continue with the training he had planned for his ladies and friends.

He already had people ready to gather data, and he would personally begin their training once the information was collected.

“But to think Asha had such an existence hiding inside her domain,” Anna said, then turned to Nadia. “Do you also have such an existence hiding in your puppet shop?”

“I will, if I can summon a demon spirit into my dolls. But until then, I can only use them in their Sovereign forms.”

“Monstrous. You too are monstrous,” the ladies said, smiling at the success of their sisters. Their strength means they can protect Klaus when he needs it.

“You all should prepare. We will be leaving for the Ant Kingdom in two days’ time.”

“Wait, what? I thought you said we would only go there when we awakened our bloodlines,” Lucy asked with a squinted expression.

“I did say that. But since Asha’s companion is now out of commission, she will need your help to get a new companion.

And since the Redwing Tyrant Ant Queen fits the profile, we can only help her. Or are you telling me you don’t want to help your sister grow stronger?” Klaus asked with a teasing smile.

“You…” The ladies could only sigh. The Ant Kingdom was a Tier 8 forbidden zone, home to the Redwing Tyrant Ant.

She was a queen, and as such, she had thousands of subordinates under her command.

According to reports gathered, the Redwing Tyrant Ant is currently at the peak of the Tier 10 stage and has dozens of Tier 10 soldiers between levels 1 and 7.

As for the transcendent and Sovereigns, they numbered in the hundreds and thousands.

This meant that if they were to go against such a force, they would be overwhelmed and risk dying if they weren’t careful.

Ant-type monsters or beasts are what warriors of the earth keep struggling against now.

They are the strongest foes you can ever meet, for before you can get close to the main queen, you will have to go through thousands of soldier ants.

“Relax you all. Kathy will be joining you…”
