The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

“This is KKKickinIt with Controversial News!” All over the world, everyone is tuned in to their favourite news and gossip channel.

The brown-skin beauty, who, although beautiful, men still don’t want to approach due to her gossipy nature, was smiling through their screens.

She had been providing a lot of updates these past few weeks, so everyone was ready for more. It was finally time for the Moon Borns to arrive, so they were eager to listen and watch what else would happen.

“The long-awaited day has arrived. Per the announcement made by the leader of the Overlords, the people on the moon will be descending today, and as such, they will be welcomed.

Right now, the welcome party is almost ready to depart. I will be going with them, of course, but before that, I will be taking a few words from the Overlords and the other party members.”

The haters are hating on her for having all the attention. But to everyone else, this was a rare chance to see their favourite Overlords.

Even if it’s through their phone screens.

KKKickinIt moved toward Overlord Isaac, the Overlord from the Austria Union.

“I wouldn’t want to waste your time, my Overlord, but what can you tell us about the events that are about to happen? I know you have your own opinions, so can you drop a gossip or two for us?” She smiled, showing she was very comfortable around them.

“Well, I don’t have much to say, but the fact that we had neighbours on the moon all this while and never knew was just too scary.

I mean, what would have happened if they had attacked instead of coming to an alliance with us? But of course, since they came peacefully, we will also receive them peacefully.

This is better for everyone. The future depends on how we live with everyone and see each other.”

He smiled, causing almost all the ladies on Earth to blush like red tomatoes.

KKKickinIt went to Overlord Dharma next. He had made thousands of ladies collapse, some even wetting themselves just from his looks—specifically, his pink eyes.

Klaus always knew that Overlord was just too beautiful for a man.

His eyes thought dangerous to someone who truly knew just how harrowing they could be like a charm to the ladies.

He is more beautiful than he is handsome.

“As for me, I think this is good.

As my brother said, it would have indeed been troublesome if they had attacked without us knowing they were attacking since we have no idea they’ve been there all these years, but since they are here in peace, we will also receive them in peace.

Just like we are now living peacefully with the Water People and Ice Folks, we will live peacefully with them, too.”

KKK nodded to his words with a thoughtful expression. The events that happened when the ice people appeared were something nobody would want to see again.

Her next target was Overlord Sorrine from the Ice Union. She was an ice-cold beauty. She was also the strongest person the Ice People produced when they surfaced all those years ago.

“When my people arrived, we thought these humans were weak, so we became arrogant. Well, we learned it the hard way, so them coming to us peacefully was already a step in the right direction.

Of course, we can never know how many like them are still hiding out there, but we just hope when we meet, it will be as peaceful as this one.”

They all assumed this peaceful decision was reached thanks to Queenie becoming a Void stage expert. Of course, anyone would assume that.

Queenie is a monster on the battlefield, so they will assume this peaceful resolve was reached thanks to her intimidating presence.

However, the truth was far from that

Klaus had shown them that even a Grandmaster could handle the tribulation of an Overlord.

This got them thinking a lot about how many like him are hiding on Earth. They didn’t want to find out the hard way.

In short, Klaus scared the shit out of them, so they sought peace.

“Next is the leader of the Overlords herself. Please, what are your thoughts on the events about to happen?” she asked, and Queenie answered with a straight expression.

“It’s always good to have more warriors as allies. This way, we can better protect the Earth and ensure we live much more peaceful and happy lives.”

Her warrior side spoke, and everyone who heard her nodded.

Before the Ice People appeared, Earth was a rather dangerous place to live. There were limited warriors to fend off monster tides and protect cities.

But after they appeared, it became a little safer.

Then the Water Folks appeared, and more warriors emerged. Right now, most can boldly say they are living much safer and more peaceful lives.

So, if a new set of hands was on the way, it only meant there would be more warriors to fill in where we were all lacking.

“Thank you for speaking with me, Overlord Queenie,” KKKickinIt said before turning her eyes in a certain direction, where Old Lu, Klaus, and Kathy could be seen landing on the ground.

She smiled and quickly approached them. She always enjoyed talking to Klaus, so this was a rare occasion for her.

“Looks like not only the Overlords will be joining the party,” KKKickinIt said, stopping the three people that had just arrived.

“Hello there, KKKickinIt. Please, don’t you have another name besides this? This one is a mouthful,” Klaus said, smiling.

“It’s my brand name, but since you asked, I can only tell you.” She moved closer to him and whispered into his ear, making Queenie, who was acting like she wasn’t interested, narrow her eyes at the vixen trying to steal her man.

“A beautiful name. You should use it more often.” Klaus, of course, knew what would make the Overlord tick, so he decided to tease her.

“I guess I will, but only behind the camera.”

“Good enough. By the way, this is the dean of the academy. You can just call him Old Lu. And well, I know you’re wondering, so yes, he is a monk, which is why he’s bald.”

Old Lu landed a smack on the back of Klaus’s head before smiling into the camera and moving away.

He knew Klaus would be doing all the talking since he could tell from the look on KKKickinIt’s face that she was more interested in Klaus.

“What about the beautiful lady beside you?” KKKickinIt asked with a slightly raised eyebrow. Kathy’s aura took her aback. She knew right away she was on the same level as the Overlords.

“Her name is Kathy, and as you already guessed, she is an Ascendent. She is also my servant and the one who does my—ouch!”

Klaus wasn’t even done when another smack landed on the back of his head. Kathy clearly has grown a pair, so she smacks him when he calls her his servant.

KKKickinIt giggled, with Overlord Mira and Sorrine also joining in. Only Queenie controlled herself from bursting into resounding laughter.

That would destroy the cold beauty Overlord image she was painting.

Klaus just sighed after suffering such injustice in front of everyone to see. Even his mom saw it and laughed out of her stomach.

“Ladies, right? You can never know what goes on in their heads.” Klaus shook his head, then looked up into the camera and smiled.

“What do you think, KKKickinIt? Do you want to comfort me and tend to the pain I’m in?”

“Hey, Klaus, we’re leaving,” Queenie, who didn’t like where this was going, decided to end the interview before she could no longer hold her jealousy and cause a scene.

“Let’s continue inside,” Klaus said.

He could sense Queenie was very jealous, so he gave her a reason to be bold, for he knew she would need him in the next few hours.

He and Ohema have cooked something up.
