The Last Paragon in the Apocalypse

Klaus allowed them to absorb all he had said before starting the real meeting.

“I know you all are scared, but don’t be. I didn’t bring you here to scare you. No, you are all here for the future of Earth. It will be determined by how much you love this world and how much you are willing to put into it.

I selected you, 606 because I want to turn you all into warriors capable of fighting to your last breath. Now, no need to frown.

Though battles see death, I will be turning you all into people capable of standing against impossible odds.

I want to turn you all into people our Mother Earth can be proud of.” Klaus smiled at his own words

“Before I get carried away, this is what I am going to do.

I will personally give each and every one of you cultivation techniques, martial techniques, weapons, and armour. I will personally see to it that your bloodlines awaken and ensure your training is up to standard.”

To all those listening started to get energise hearing such energetic words. When he made mention of blooldines, all those who had theirs locked narrowed their attention.

“I know most of you keep looking at the beautiful lady there, wondering if those cute ears are real,” Klaus said with a smile, causing Nadia to smirk.

“The answer is yes, they are real, meaning she is an elf. Just a few years ago, she was known as Nadia Nucci; now, she is a powerful warrior simply because she put in the effort and awakened her bloodline.

Now, while some of you may still have doubts, no need to look far. She isn’t the only elf in town. There are others. And soon, it could be you too.

But for that to happen, you will all have to work your butts off.”

“First, I will be taking you all to 10 Tier 7 Forbidden Zones where your training will begin. Most of you are just Great Sages, with a few Sages, but that won’t be an excuse for when the monsters come; they won’t ask for a particular rank of warriors.

They will attack you all regardless of your rank, so be prepared.

Also, I plan to use these ten forbidden zones to gather data on you all. Of course, when I say ten forbidden zones, I mean I will divide you into ten groups.

Your job will be to clear the forbidden zones I will be sending you to using all you have. When that is done, you will each receive your cultivation and martial techniques.

Then, you will have a month to learn them.

When that is done, we will begin the real training. Our destination will be Monsterland, one of the Badlands infested with monsters.

That is where I will ensure you all break through your restrictions. You will receive training that will determine whether you are qualified to awaken your bloodlines.

And let me tell you, the training will be gruelling.

So prepare.”

“Mr. Klaus, I have a question,” a young man raised his hand.

“Go ahead, and next time, just call me Klaus.” The young man nodded.

“If my information is correct, most Tier 7 forbidden zones are infested with Sovereign and Transcendent rank monsters. Are you implying a group of, let’s say, 65 warriors would be clearing it?”

“Yes. You will have to put your all into it, and perhaps that will bring out your hidden potential—if you don’t want to die. You know what they say, there is strength in numbers.”

Klaus laughed, causing the 606 who passed his trial to start wondering if this was a trial to bring them into suffering or turn them into monsters.

“Don’t worry too much. It’s just a Tier 7 forbidden zone. You will survive somehow.” The warriors watching him smile could tell he didn’t really place such a place in his eyes.

This caused them to wonder just what could scare him.

“So first, your data will be gathered during these first raids. When this is over, you will receive your rewards. Then, from there, I will divide you into seven units.

There will be an Aerial Unit that only fights in the air. Each warrior in that Unit will have flying mounts for aerial combat.

There will be a Shadow Unit that includes some of the most lethal assassins. You may all want to look forward to this particular unit, for I have good plans for you all.

The third will be the Mage Unit, which will focus only on the mages who can cast spells that could shape the landscape of a battle.

I also have this unit in my eyes because I will personally train them. And before you ask, yes, I am a mage too.” Klaus smiled, and Old Lu, who knew he was telling the truth—for he knew of his ice elements—also smiled.

The fourth will be the Swordsmen and the Spearmen. I know most of you are wondering why not just separate them. The answer is to hold on for now, for everything will make sense later.

The fifth will be the Healers, the most important unit. This unit will be called The Immortal Unit. They are those who will keep us going in battle.

The sixth will be the Controllers, headed by my own women, Lucy Ross and Anna Ross. I know you all know what they are capable of, so no need to say too much.

But know that those who will ensure the chaotic battle remains in shape and support you all will be them. They are our second life in battle for their timely intervention can save our lives.

As for the last unit, I call them the Brutes.

Our brothers and sisters will use the axe, hammer, gauntlet, and any heavy weapons to create chaos in battles.

Of course, they will be the main strike force, for they are the kind of warriors we all need to break the defence of our opponents.

They will also be our defence when it comes down; the Titans are still the strongest beings when it comes to defence. And I will be turning each and every one of them into titans.”

Klaus looked toward Danny and Daniel, who gave him a double thumbs up for thinking about them. They wanted to have a squad like them—Brutes who would cause devastation for everyone.

He even asked his uncles to train them, and they accepted with open arms. If the plans he had drawn were followed to the dot, then in less than a year, this legion would become a force to reckon with.

“You all have your strengths and weaknesses, so be sure to reveal everything in the mission that will begin three days from now. I will need those to know what kind of technique I will be giving you.

The next couple of days are for you to get to know your brothers and sisters you will be fighting with. Also, you can temporarily use the academy facilities for the next three days.

After we go back out there, we will spend the next couple of months in the wild, and that is who we all will become: beings raised in the wild.

That will be all for now. Let’s all get ready in three days.”
