Chapter 567: Chapter 568: Kneeling and Begging for Mercy

Under Lin Chen’s coercion, Wadi dialed his son’s phone.

The call connected quickly, and screams could still be heard from the other end, ”Dad, what’s up? I’m busy beating someone up right now.”

”Are you beating up a teacher from Yalong University?” Wadi asked.

”Yes, you two told me to break his legs,” came Wadi’s fierce voice from the other side.

”You dare! Stop it right now,” Wadi shouted.

On the phone, Vara was taken aback, ”Dad, what’s wrong, do you know this teacher?”

”You rotten kid, you kneel down immediately right now, apologize to the teacher, then take him to the hospital, and transfer a million to his account,” Wadi yelled angrily.

”What? Dad, you’re not crazy, are you!” Vara’s voice came incredulously through the phone.

”You’re the one who’s crazy. Hurry up, or else don’t expect to receive any pocket money from me ever again,” Wadi said furiously.

”No no, I’m kneeling, I’m kneeling,” came Vara’s panicked voice from the phone.

”Right, livestream the entire process,” Wadi continued.

”Okay, I get it.” This time Vara was panicked too, knowing what kind of person his father was; the person in question must be someone very significant to make him this afraid.

At Yalong University, An Xiaodi anxiously stood at the entrance of the building, yelling at a woman, ”Let me go outside.”

”No, it’s not safe outside; you can’t go out,” the woman said firmly.

At that moment, An Xiaodi suddenly froze because she saw an unimaginable scene in the distance.

”Everyone stop!” Vara hung up the phone and yelled at a few thugs.

The thugs halted their beating and said fiercely, ”Boss, how should we deal with him?”

”Deal, deal my ass,” Vara snapped furiously.

”All of you kneel down,” Vara said with an ugly expression.

”Boss, what did you say?” The men were stunned.

Vara’s face turned livid as he said, ”I told you to kneel down; are you deaf?”

Hearing Vara’s words, the thugs were all confused, but they didn’t dare disobey Vara’s order.

Vara handed his phone to a bystander student, saying, ”Record this for us.”

”Yes! Are you sure you want it recorded?” The student took the phone, his face equally puzzled.

”If I tell you to record, just record. Don’t talk so much nonsense,” Vara snapped angrily.

By this time, Leo was covered in blood, trembling all over.

Suddenly, the group stopped beating him and even knelt in front of him, which left him dumbfounded.

Just as he was astonished, an even more shocking scene occurred; Vara actually threw himself to his knees in front of him.

”Teacher, I shouldn’t have hit you. I was wrong. You are a generous person, please forgive me,” Vara spoke reluctantly, but considering the other might be someone very important, he had no choice but to brazenly apologize to Leo.

Leo looked at the thugs who had seemed fierce and furious just a moment ago and had now all turned into sheepish figures, leaving him also at a loss.

In the club’s private room, Wadi coldly watched the video, ”Are you satisfied now? Can we delete the video?”

Lin Chen gave a cold laugh, ”Delete the video? You think I’m a fool? As long as your son does what he should, I can make sure the video doesn’t go public.”

”Kid, do you realize you’re playing with fire?” Wadi said, his face full of anger.

As the chief of the Manchester Police Department, he was like an emperor over both the underworld and the law, with nobody daring to provoke him. Lin Chen was the first to dare stir trouble right under his nose.

Lin Chen smiled faintly, ”I’m well aware of what I’m doing. Go back and discipline your son properly. Remember my words, don’t play with fire, or you might get burned.”

This time, Lin Chen returned the words Wadi had just said back to him.

Soon after, Wadi’s phone rang again, ”Dad, I’ve got the teacher to the hospital, hired the best doctor, and transferred the money to his bank account. Can you tell me who that big shot really is now?”

Wadi coldly said, ”You better go straight home, we’ll talk later.”

After scolding his son, Wadi then hung up the phone.

Seeing the matter was resolved, Lin Chen smiled lightly, ”Alright, since you behaved, I can delete the video now.”

With that, Lin Chen deleted the video content in front of Wadi, who checked again to make sure it was indeed gone before he finally sighed in relief.

”Alright, Chief Wadi, thank you for your cooperation. We’ll meet again if we get the chance,” Lin Chen said with a smile as he cheerfully turned and walked away.

”Kid, you’re ruthless. We’ll see about that,” Wadi said menacingly.

Lin Chen stopped, turned around, and smiled coldly, ”I advise you to give up any thoughts of revenge, or it will end very badly for you, I guarantee it.”

”Bastard! Dare to cross me, I will make sure you die a gruesome death.” Watching Lin Chen leave the room, Wadi picked up his phone and immediately made a call.

...

No sooner had Lin Chen left the clubhouse than his phone rang.

”Lin Chen, how did Vara end up kneeling to the teacher? How did you manage that?” An Xiaodi asked excitedly.

Lin Chen smiled faintly, ”You know how awesome your brother is. Even the King of T nation has to show me some respect. Just a phone call and the guy caved.”

”Really?” An Xiaodi said, half-believing, half-doubtful.

”By the way, that annoying woman at the door was sent by you, right? Get her to leave quickly; she’s so annoying,” An Xiaodi said irritably.

Lin Chen shook his head, ”Listen, it’s chaotic outside these days. Stay at home, and I’ll come to see you once I’ve handled everything.”

After hanging up, Lin Chen headed to the hospital.

Teacher Leo was injured because of An Xiaodi, so Lin Chen decided to visit him personally.

Upon entering the hospital room, Leo immediately recognized Lin Chen.

”Why are you still in T nation? Didn’t I tell you to leave immediately?” Leo said anxiously.

Lin Chen smiled faintly, ”Don’t worry, they can’t do anything to me. Didn’t Vara just kneel to you a moment ago?”

”All this because of you?” Leo’s expression changed suddenly as he remembered something.

He was horrified, knowing well the Vadi family’s colossal influence in T nation. Yet Lin Chen had managed to make Vara kneel before him, revealing the terrifying extent of his own background.

Lin Chen examined Leo’s injuries, noticing several external wounds and a broken foot bone.

”Teacher Leo, I know a bit of traditional medicine; let me take a look at your foot,” Lin Chen said with a smile.

”That’s great, the school exams are coming up soon, and I was worried. How soon can I get out of bed?” Teacher Leo asked excitedly.

”I can get you up right after the massage,” Lin Chen replied with a faint smile.

Just then, a disdainful voice came from behind, ”What are you joking about? Do you think traditional medicine is the Immortal Technique? It’s impossible for him to get off the bed for three months.”
