Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Once an unexpected situation arises, the defensive power is actually quite weak.

Especially during heavy rain, when facing sudden downpours, personnel at various outposts find it difficult to return to Big Camphor Tree Base in time.

In fact, these problems have surfaced before.

However, other matters have always been holding us back, and if we follow this plan, it requires a huge amount of manpower.

The process is time-consuming and lengthy.

Now the typhoon has passed, and the personnel have increased; the total population exceeds three thousand.

Human resources are abundant.

It’s time to do this.

So, Li Yu, with this plan in mind, hurriedly left Mountain Pond to find Second Uncle and Uncle to discuss with them.

Third Uncle happened to come over to talk with Old Qin and the others about tomorrow’s departure, so Li Yu pulled him in.

The four of them had a small meeting in the duty room.

Third Uncle and the others looked curiously at Li Yu, unsure of what he suddenly wanted to discuss.

Li Yu looked at the three of them and slowly said:

”I have an idea, and I want to discuss it with you.

Currently, the feedback from people outside the fence raises residence issues, and the outer fences are damaged by the typhoon, causing safety problems at the outposts...

These have given me an idea.”

”For the five outposts, relocate their positions with transportation hubs as the center, construct simple walls, and transform them into extremely small satellite cities, something like service areas, the scope only needs to be a few hundred square meters.

On one hand, they can serve as guard posts and strike positions; on the other hand, they can be used as emergency shelters for Extra Staff and even others.”

”These places can also accommodate some Cooperative Personnel, solving the current residence issues for personnel outside the base, and enhancing the strength of the outposts.”

”Additionally, in these tiny satellite cities, like now, Outer City personnel will take turns managing them, so Luo and the others won’t need to rush during patrols. Even at night, they can stay at the satellite city overnight.”

Li Yu spoke all his thoughts during the journey, Second Uncle and Uncle exchanged glances of surprise.

While Third Uncle sat aside, scratching his ear, seemingly indifferent.

In truth, Third Uncle has always been this way; as long as someone handles these things and doesn’t need him, he wouldn’t take the initiative.

But in urgent times, he immediately steps up to solve problems.

With a delighted expression, Second Uncle said to Li Yu:

”I must say, Xiao Yu, your suggestion really surprised me. Very good, truly. If we proceed in this way, we can not only strengthen the outposts but also firmly control them, thereby expanding the influence of the base.”

Second Uncle’s meaning was clear.

Perhaps influenced by Li Yu, he’s always concerned about the dispersion of power and human greed at Big Camphor Tree Base.

Upon entering Big Camphor Tree Base, everyone must surrender their weapons.

Outer City personnel cannot enter the Inner City.

Outpost personnel must be managed by Outer City personnel.

These have always been upheld.

After all, people are greedy, always seeking better status, more food, and greater power.

The methods Li Yu used securely controlled food and weapons, preventing rebellion.

Moreover, among the dispatched outpost management personnel, most have families in the Outer City.

Uncle nodded and said: ”I personally think Xiao Yu’s idea is very good, but there’s one issue – the project might not be small, and it could take a long time, but if we successfully build the micro satellite cities, there will be significant benefits for the future of Big Camphor Tree Base.”
