Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

”Who knows. I just know I’m really hungry right now, I want to eat something. Whatever, I’m going to search around the Motorcycle Gang’s place here, see if I can find anything they left behind...”

...

With Li Yu and the others gone, this group of people regained their freedom, but at the same time faced a problem: food.

They fell into confusion, not knowing where to go for the moment.

There were so many of them, all caught by the Motorcycle Gang from different factions and different places.

Naturally they weren’t united, and had no cohesion, so they split into different small groups and then parted ways.

.....

Old Bi and the others were not idle in the Oil City stronghold; he was busy reinforcing the walls and sorting and organizing the things inside.

One in the afternoon.

Li Yu and his group returned to the Oil City stronghold. After they entered the stronghold, Old Huang and the others who had originally lived here couldn’t help but feel emotional.

The past few months had been like a dream: the Motorcycle Gang suddenly appeared and scattered them, and now they had miraculously gathered together again, and even returned to their original place.

Zhong Chuchu explained the rules of Big Camphor Tree Base to them.

After being tossed around by the Motorcycle Gang like this, they had a deep realization that in the Doomsday, Zombies were not the most terrifying existence.

It was humans.

They felt even more keenly how important it was to have a powerful force at your back; the weak could only be wiped out.

So they were very willing to join Big Camphor Tree Base, but after Zhong Chuchu’s explanation, they finally understood that people like them still couldn’t count as members of Big Camphor Tree Base; they could only be considered in a cooperative relationship.

Even Zhong Chuchu and Shen Xiaoxiao and the others were only in a cooperative relationship for now.

This made them feel a bit regretful, but they could accept it. After all, being able to walk out of the Motorcycle Gang’s lair alive was thanks to Li Yu and the others defeating the Motorcycle Gang.

When Li Yu and his group came in, Old Bi finally closed the two vehicles filled with soil.

Seeing the densely parked vehicles and some trucks loaded full of supplies, Old Bi was a bit surprised, yet felt it was only natural.

After Li Yu got out of the car, he had Ju Tianrui gather and settle the original residents of the Oil City stronghold in one place.

Then he found Third Uncle, Xiao Jun, Old Bi, Luo, Li Tie and the others and convened a small internal meeting.

They came to the first floor of one of the tallest buildings in the Oil City stronghold; the meeting room was hazy with smoke.

Li Yu sat at the head of the meeting room. When he saw Ju Tianrui, who had just finished handling affairs, come in and sit down, he began speaking to the others: ”Alright, almost everyone is here. There are a few matters we need to discuss.”

”Li Tie, report the combat situation for the past two days.”

”Alright.” Li Tie stood up.

He glanced around at everyone, then spoke: ”According to our original plan, the mission to wipe out the Motorcycle Gang is basically completed, and we’ve successfully occupied the Oil City stronghold. Only a very small number of the oil equipment in the stronghold has been damaged; it can be repaired later. Right now it can steadily produce oil.

There’s only one well. The output of this well is not high; it can only produce about ten tons a day, less than 4,000 tons of oil a year.”

Sitting in front, Li Yu frowned at these words, but quickly relaxed.

Although this output was relatively low compared to many oil fields, it was already enough to meet Big Camphor Tree Base’s current needs, and even those for a long time to come.

Being able to have nearly 4,000 tons of oil a year was enough.

Li Tie continued, ”Next I’ll report the combat losses and consumption from fighting the Motorcycle Gang.”

At these words, everyone straightened up and listened carefully.

”In the battles against the Motorcycle Gang, the number of dead in action is: zero.

Thanks to the Anti-explosion Suits and helmets we wore, not a single person died.

But five were seriously injured and seven lightly injured. All of them were hit by gunfire from Motorcycle Gang members in close combat. They are currently being treated.”

”Next is the ammunition expenditure. Of the ammunition we brought, we’ve used up half of the Bombs and have one thousand rounds left.

We still have twenty thousand rounds of bullets left...”

”Then there’s the supplies obtained after wiping out the Motorcycle Gang, as follows:

More than one hundred and twenty vehicles; 568 seized firearms still in good condition,

Thirty-five thousand rounds of bullets; six machine guns in good condition; fifteen truckloads of wheat, roughly estimated at ten tons per truck, for a total of about 150 tons of wheat.

Refined fuel totals 38 tons. Other items such as alcohol, soybeans... eight truckloads in all. Because this part of the goods is relatively complicated, it hasn’t been fully tallied yet.”

........

Holding a notebook, Li Tie reported quickly.

”That’s roughly the situation at present. My report is finished.”

After he finished speaking, he looked at Li Yu. Li Yu nodded, and Li Tie sat down.

Li Yu leaned his body forward and slowly said, ”Mm, from the current situation, the battle went very well. Now there’s something to announce to everyone.

The Oil City stronghold can produce a stable supply of oil, so I declare that in the future, the Oil City stronghold will become a branch of our Big Camphor Tree Base.

Since it’s a branch, we must station personnel here, so I’m thinking of adopting a rotation system in the future, sending people to be stationed here every two months.

What do you think?”

At these words, no one was particularly surprised.

In fact, ever since they took the Oil City stronghold and saw that it could consistently produce oil, everyone knew that the significance of the Oil City stronghold to Big Camphor Tree Base was extraordinary.
