Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

From Oil City to the Motorcycle Gang’s lair, they tried their best to avoid villages and towns along the way, driving through relatively open areas.

But they still encountered some zombies on the road. Once the zombies saw Li Yu and their vehicles, they were instantly attracted.

This caused some trouble for Li Yu and his team, but fortunately, their vehicles were all reinforced, and none got caught by the zombies.

Moreover, as sunrise approached, there were significantly fewer zombies on the road compared to nighttime.

A drone circled ahead of them, scouting which directions had fewer zombies, allowing them to adjust and modify their route accordingly.

Although the distance was only a dozen kilometers, due to the zombies’ obstruction, they spent more than half an hour driving.

By the time they arrived at the Motorcycle Gang’s lair, the sun had already risen.

The Motorcycle Gang’s lair was built in a newly planned village before Doomsday. The houses and roads were all planned, relatively centralized and orderly, not much different from a small town, just smaller in area.

It formed the shape of a ”井” (square-shaped), with two straight roads running north to south through the entire village.

Seeing the walls still under construction ahead, Li Yu was somewhat surprised. This scale wasn’t small, and the labor and resources consumed must have been significant.

He also felt a bit relieved; if the Motorcycle Gang continued to develop and managed to complete these walls, they would have a stable stronghold, making them more troublesome in the future.

In Doomsday, without a stable base, it’s impossible to grow stronger. The Motorcycle Gang had been wandering around without any development before.

Until they arrived at Xinyang and established a solid base, they quickly developed, not only building their headquarters but also setting up a stable oil supply distribution, along with a colonized plantation point.

However, Li Yu did not agree with the Motorcycle Gang’s approach; moving too fast without increasing their strength would easily attract the envy and conflict of potential threats.

The best approach in Doomsday is to develop steadily and quietly, focusing on increasing strength.

A large population isn’t the key to judging the strength of a base in Doomsday—quality matters more.

Just like the principle Li Yu always adhered to: the base does not support idlers. Only those with abilities are accepted, a way to make the team lean yet formidable in combat.

In addition, the pressure on food resources wouldn’t be as high.

......

Li Yu didn’t get out of the vehicle. He opened the cover on the roof of the RV and saw a huge gap in the wall on the right.

He felt a bit frustrated, thinking that the remaining members of the Motorcycle Gang would have left early.

They had tried to come as early as possible, even setting off before the sun rose, but zombie obstructions on the road caused delays, and they arrived only after sunrise.

”Let’s go in, be cautious, and if you encounter any Motorcycle Gang members, kill them without mercy.” Li Yu shouted to the people around him.

Rumble!

The tank entered through the huge gap, followed by Li Yu and the others.

Once Li Yu entered, he saw a mess scattered on the ground, including a half-torn bag of food.

There were also some human bones on the ground, gnawed by zombies.

Thinking about the entrance hole they saw on the way in, a guess flashed in Li Yu’s mind.

Could it be that zombies broke in last night? It made sense; after all, the majority of the Motorcycle Gang had been wiped out, and those remaining couldn’t possibly fend off zombies with an unfinished wall at night.

Suddenly.

Li Yu’s hair stood on end, an intense feeling of danger came from the roof direction on the right.

Without any hesitation, Li Yu slid down from the roof of the RV.

The next second.

A bullet struck where he had been standing, hitting the steel plate on the roof. The steel plate was thick, causing the bullet to deflect and ricochet off.

”Director Li.”

”Big Brother.”

.....

The belated crowd saw this and quickly shouted towards Li Yu.

But they saw that Li Yu seemed to have foreseen it and avoided it early on.

Only then did they breathe a sigh of relief.

Bang!

A bullet flew towards the window.

The bullet accurately hit the person in the topmost room on the right.

That person was a Motorcycle Gang member who had miraculously survived last night and was a loyal follower of Old Ghost. Seeing a group of strangers entering from outside the wall, he started sniping from the shadows.

However, he hadn’t expected that the shot he was so certain of couldn’t hit the man.

He died with regret.

Ju Tianrui fired that shot, and Li Yu, hidden inside the vehicle, didn’t see it. His face turned grim.

He immediately took out a radio and said to everyone, ”Stay alert, Motorcycle Gang members are hiding in the buildings.”

Then, Li Yu said to Luo, ”Luo, blow up that room by the windows on the fourth floor of the building on the right for me.”

Upon hearing this, Luo immediately responded, ”Got it.”

He quickly coordinated with the others inside the vehicle. After two days of battle, the team had already developed a strong tacit understanding. Their aiming and reloading speed was getting faster, and in less than 10 seconds, they aimed the cannon at the building on the right.
