Chapter 1189: Chapter 737: Enhanced Zombie Attraction Potion

There will be surplus.

It’s important to know that ever since the construction of greenhouses and underground plantations, planting can completely disregard weather factors.

A year can achieve three harvest seasons, which undoubtedly greatly enhances the harvest yield.

Especially with An Ya as an agricultural expert, crops in the base can be cultivated with precision, coupled with Bai Jie and the team’s ability to help produce fertilizers and synthetic fertilizers, leading to a significant increase in crop yield per acre.

Currently, the per acre yield from planting is no lower than the large-scale integrated planting before Doomsday.

In some vegetable types, the yield is even higher.

Then, Li Yu inquired about the situation at Second Uncle’s food factory.

Since the food factory was built, many foods have extended shelf life after processing.

Each time personnel execute missions outside, they can strongly feel the benefits brought by the food processing factory.

No longer do they have to eat dry vegetable cakes; now they can pair with other foods, eating conveniently and quickly while also considering nutritional balance.

After discussing the current construction and production matters in the base, Li Yu addressed Third Uncle, saying: ”Third Uncle, how much steel is left untransported at the steel factory in Guang City?”

Third Uncle was trimming his nails on the left seat and heard Li Yu questioning him.

He took out a small notebook, flipped it open, and said: ”Currently, 4000 tons have been transported, 8000 tons are left, and based on the base’s current transportation capacity, about three more trips would almost clear it.”

Li Yu thought for a moment and said: ”Actually, there’s one more thing, the Western Alliance came over to bother us a few days ago. Now at the Western Alliance headquarters, I plan to resolve it once and for all; otherwise, they’ll keep sending people over, and it’s quite tiring to keep guarding against them. What do you all think?”

Third Uncle was speaking with Li Yu and saw everyone looking at him.

It seemed he had to speak first, so he said to Li Yu: ”Truthfully, I am fine with it, it’s merely a choice between proactive offense and passive defense. This time, Bai Wenyang’s group discovered them by chance, next time it might not be so coincidental.

A thief lasts a thousand days, but there is no thousand-day defense against a thief. My thought is to solve the Western Alliance early.”

Second Uncle, hearing Third Uncle’s opinion, held a different view and said: ”The journey is long and according to the interrogation results from Dapao, although the incoming members are elite, the overall strength of the Western Alliance has greatly reduced. However, there are still two thousand people; if we go, with fewer people, we can’t defeat them. Too many people and it’s difficult to prevent accidents on the road, risking getting dispersed by a Zombie Tide.

Listen to what the Western Alliance’s Wayne explained, they started with three hundred people; upon reaching Gan City, only about two hundred sixty-something were left, resulting in a personnel loss of one-tenth.

If we go, how many people should we send? How many vehicles? Fuel consumption would be a huge expense.”

Second Uncle speaks on realistic issues, taking comprehensive consideration.

Southern lacks oil fields, Gansheng doesn’t have any either.

The scarcity of fuel is precisely why Li Yu decided to establish the Power Research Institute, striving to convert more fuel vehicles to be powered by electricity with current capabilities.

Even if the technology is lacking now, that doesn’t matter; at present, no concern is given to cost or aesthetics, only to solving practical problems.

For example, insufficient mileage.

Then use battery stacks to increase mileage. Even a vehicle can be used to carry batteries, as they move in convoys.

The issues Second Uncle raised are exactly why they hadn’t proactively attacked the Western Alliance before.

Li Yu looked at everyone and said: ”During the last storm flood, I tested a certain potion. Do any of you remember?”

As these words fell, everyone recalled the bottle of enhanced Zombie Attraction Potion Li Yu tested at the time.

They had never seen zombies so frenzied, so much so that zombies gnawing on their kind a moment before would abandon the flesh and rush toward the potion.

From this, it’s conceivable how strong the attraction of this enhanced version of the Zombie Attraction Potion is.

Dapao, sitting behind on the right seat, heard Li Yu mention this and his eyes lit up, seemingly understanding what Li Yu intended.

If this thing can be used against zombies, it can certainly be used against humans too.

Using zombies against humans.

Although it seems somewhat unethical.

Against enemies, what ethics are there to speak of.

”I know, last time, that was incredibly powerful.” Yang Tianlong spoke up.

Bai Jie, keen-minded, hearing Li Yu mention this, recalled how recently Li Yu suddenly approached her, asking her and Ma Di to recreate this enhanced Zombie Attraction Potion.

Could it be, could it be just for today’s plan?

Knowing, at that time, the Western Alliance hadn’t approached yet.

Sure enough, Li Yu, noticing everyone’s impression of this enhanced Zombie Attraction Potion.

He said to everyone: ”So, I think we can utilize this enhanced Zombie Attraction Potion, a small bottle of it.

Imagine if at night, we remotely shot this bottle of enhanced Zombie Attraction Potion, or used a drone to fly over the Western Alliance and dropped this potion, how much it would attract zombies around.

If it’s raining, the effect is even greater.

We wouldn’t need many people to be sent out, even just a few people would suffice.

The key is, first, wait for a rainy day, then during the rain, throw this potion into the Western Alliance Base.

However, this requires a very strong psychological quality and powerful combat ability to achieve.”

Second Uncle, hearing this, carefully considered the feasibility of the approach.

After a long time, he said: ”Based on what you said, it could work, but there’s a great risk. To successfully drop the potion, one must be able to approach the Western Alliance headquarters and find a safe haven to avoid the Zombie Tide. This seems challenging.”

Everyone nodded.

Li Yu slowly opened his mouth and said: ”Therefore, I plan to go personally.”

Boom!

Instantly, the entire conference room erupted as if boiling.

Everyone debated.

Second Uncle frowned and said: ”No, too dangerous. You’re now the core of Big Camphor Tree Base; if anything happens, the consequences are unimaginable.”
