Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Chapter 1167: Chapter 728: Discovery, Encirclement! [5,500-Word Super Chapter] (Part 2)

It’s been a long time.

Soon, Third Uncle and his team drove the armored vehicle and arrived at the riverside, finding Ju Tianrui and his group.

Third Uncle got out of the car, looking at the footage on the drone.

”Where are the people?” Third Uncle looked at the drone footage, feeling it was not very clear.

After all, at an altitude of over two hundred meters, the people on the ground looked as small as grains of rice.

Dong Tai then zoomed into the orchard area.

Zoomed to the limit of the drone’s camera.

Though the pixels were somewhat blurry, one could still see with the naked eye that there were many vehicles and people in the orchard.

”What are so many people gathered together doing?” Third Uncle was a bit puzzled.

However, due to the drone being too high up, it was impossible to see clearly.

Dong Tai also shook his head and said, ”There’s no way, if we want to see more clearly, we can only get closer to them.”

Third Uncle sighed helplessly and said, ”Next time you go out, change the drone, this one doesn’t perform well.”

”Alright.”

Third Uncle stared at the drone screen, surveying the orchard’s terrain.

The task he brought a few people for was to prevent those people from leaving.

For now, those people hadn’t discovered them, and the situation was relatively optimistic.

But it’s still necessary to surround these people quickly, not giving them a chance to leave.

Third Uncle pondered for a few seconds and quickly formulated a plan.

”Okay, Old Qin, later you go to the southwest corner of the orchard, Ant, you go to the northwest corner, each find a vantage point, monitor at all times, and don’t let anyone climb over the wall.

Also, Jackals, you and Ju Tianrui take a detour to the northern concrete road of the orchard, block the entrance.

Ju Tianrui, split half of the people and come with me to the southern concrete road entrance of the orchard.

Dong Tai, you bring the drone and follow me, start the action now, move quickly and lightly, try not to alert the enemy to our presence.”

With Third Uncle’s orders given, after everyone received their tasks, they quickly got in the vehicle and left.

Old Qin temporarily stayed in Third Uncle’s car, first needing to reach the woods outside the southern part of the orchard, then get off and run to the west.

Ant and Jackals got into Ju Tianrui’s car, and after reaching the woods outside the northern part of the orchard, Ant got off and went to the northwest corner.

Aside from the armored vehicle Third Uncle was sitting in, all other vehicles were electric cars, moving very quietly.

Soon, Third Uncle and his team reached the woods outside the southern part of the orchard, slowing their vehicle down as they entered the concrete road, seeing they were a hundred meters away from the orchard entrance, Third Uncle then asked the driver to stop the car.

Dong Tai also raised the drone higher into the sky, flying near the orchard.

Because it flew to a relatively high position, the sound was faint, not discovered for now.

In the car.

Old Qin got out of the car, carrying a large black cloth bag filled with firearms and ammunition, his body like a leopard, running towards the western mountain forest.

Third Uncle waited in the car, waiting for the others from three directions to reach their designated locations.

Soon.

Ten minutes later, Jackals’ voice came through the walkie-talkie, ”Ju Tianrui and I have reached the northern concrete road, and Ant has already got off and is running towards the northwest corner.”

”Alright.” Third Uncle replied.

Old Qin had also reached the southwest corner of the orchard, this area was more wooded, between the woods and the orchard, there was a stretch of farmland, approximately two to three hundred meters away.

After reaching the southwest corner, Old Qin searched around, feeling there wasn’t a suitable shooting point.

The orchard is in a relatively flat area, with mountains and forests to the north and south.

Old Qin originally wanted to find a position at the mountain top, but he found that despite the height offering potentially the best view, the trees above were obstructing the sight.

Forced by circumstances, he later found a slightly elevated small mound at the edge of the farmland at the mountain base, covered with weeds.

The weeds were over half a meter high, lying hidden within them, it’s difficult to be spotted.

More crucially, although this place didn’t offer the bird’s eye view of the mountain top, it was closer, allowing a clear view of the southwest corner and the western situation.

For Old Qin, this was sufficient.

So he crouched, descended from the woods, and slowly crawled up the mound.

But when he reached the mound, he discovered it was a grave, actually, it was two graves built together.

Old Qin wasn’t particularly superstitious, but when climbing onto someone else’s grave, he muttered some apologies under his breath.

Soon, upon reaching the mound top, he first took out his telescope to observe the situation of the orchard.

This orchard was quite large, covering several dozen acres; from his perspective, he saw over a dozen people refueling vehicles.

Slowly, Old Qin took the sniper rifle out of the black cloth bag, calibrated the data, and clearly saw the enemy through the scope.

Then, he used the walkie-talkie to contact Third Uncle: ”Captain, I’m positioned at the southwest corner.”

”Good, keep observations and don’t shoot; report any situation promptly,” said Third Uncle.

During this waiting period, Third Uncle instructed them to park the car by the roadside, everyone dismounted, walking into the grass fifty meters from the orchard.

Ju Tianrui gave him five people, aside from one staying to watch the car, Third Uncle had two people lay in ambush in the grass to the west of the concrete road, while he led the other two to the east side of the concrete road, directly opposite the orchard gate.
