Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

Chapter 805: Chapter 601: Living Off Parents Has Its Tricks! (Part 3)

Although it’s impossible to achieve a balance between supply and demand, at least there’s some income, and the food in the warehouse isn’t just going out.

The weather disaster has now made it impossible to plant crops again.

However, there is at least a piece of not-so-good news that’s somewhat positive: with so many people dead, the pressure on food supply has decreased a lot.

There’s a benefit to having the dead.

Recognizing this, Gan Xiong felt an inexplicable understanding.

He seemed to understand one thing: perhaps in this doomsday, having too many people isn’t a good thing.

When there are many people, it’s hard to feed everyone, and if they are all in the base, hunger can easily lead to extremism, and extremism can easily lead to management issues.

It was as if a pair of hands in the dark were controlling all of this.

In the previous earthquake, some buildings collapsed, and now they still need repairs.

Over at the East Wall, more than a dozen meters collapsed, and Gan Long and the others fought desperately to salvage and repair it.

Although the walls in other directions didn’t collapse, they also had some cracks, all of which need repair.

Food, wall and building repairs, and the scarcity of bullets—each one a significant problem.

Thinking about these problems gave Gan Xiong a headache.

This time, the losses were too great, and the Western Alliance was severely weakened.

Many stored bullets were almost all used up. Although there is still some food, this season, there’s no seasonal planting, and at this rate, they will consume their resources quickly, and with so many people, they won’t last long.

Big Camphor Tree Base.

With the extra staff and cooperative personnel gone, the base suddenly had much fewer people and became much quieter.

The Second Outer City was even more deserted.

Xiao Jun and Ju Tianrui moved out of the Big Camphor Tree Base and went to a house on the country road several hundred meters away.

Originally, Ju Tianrui and the others wanted to go farther away to collect supplies, but Li Yu stopped them.

He had a more important matter that required Ju Tianrui and the others to do together with him.

Li Yu, in doing things, doesn’t like to leave any potential troubles behind.

The things he doesn’t know can be ignored for now, but what he knows or can think of, he will definitely address promptly to eliminate any hidden dangers.

Gan Shang and the others on Juzi Island were precisely such a hidden danger.

Although it was unknown whether Gan Shang and the others had collapsed in this wave of natural disasters and Zombie Tides,

Li Yu decided to take people to check it out anyway.

Xiao Jun and Ju Tianrui were insiders, so bringing them along would make handling things easier.

More importantly, to test a person, it requires going through certain things.

Having aligned views is very important, and if they are willing to go together and eliminate Gan Shang and the others, it would also prove a few things.

.....

In the evening.

Li Haoran and others were on duty on the wall.

The first floor of the villa in the Inner City.

Meeting Hall.

Li Yu held an internal meeting that was scheduled every week.

The attendees were all of Li Yu’s direct relatives.

These included: Li Yu, Li Hang, Father Li, Uncle, Second Uncle, Third Uncle, Fourth Uncle, Uncle, Li Tie, Li Gang, Li Yuan, Lai Dongsheng, Ding Jiu, Dapao, Yang Tianlong, Song Min, Old Lv.

Twenty people.

They are the core members of the Big Camphor Tree Base.

After seeing everyone sit down, Li Yu didn’t waste any time.

He directly began speaking:

”Today’s meeting is to discuss a few matters that require everyone’s input.

The first matter: concerning the issue of Outer City personnel, Deng Ben, Fu Sheng, Xu Zhen entering the Inner City.

The second matter: in light of the recent weather changes, whether we should build more underground plantations and greenhouses.

The third matter: regarding Juzi Island and the aftermath of killing Gan Gaojie, how should we handle the potential problems.
