The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 829: Chapter 829: The Great Counterattack

Listening to Jiang Huaisi’s harmless joke, Lin Tian and the others all laughed.

Bai Shishi even said, ”If I had known you were friends with Lin Tian, I would have reached out long ago. Why wait until now?”

After a few jokes, the previously ordered dishes arrived—a table full of seafood, appealing in color, aroma, and taste, making everyone eager to dive in.

They didn’t order any alcohol, as Jiang Huaisi and Bai Shishi were tired of drinking at business events, and avoided it when possible.

”I saw the news today, and almost the entire headline was occupied by your company, Qiansimei. From those news reports, I gathered two points. First, there was a series of explosions in the processing workshop, and the source of the explosion was the raw materials. This news was leaked by your employees, and its authenticity is still to be verified. Second, there’s another criticism against you all—the attitude towards employees’ families has been seriously condemned, leading people to think of your company as unethical, with harmful products.”

After saying this, Jiang Huaisi paused and asked, ”Do you have anything else to add?”

Mei Ruyan said, ”These are all just rumors, yet so many fools are willing to believe them.”

”Since they are rumors, then the most efficient method is to break them. Actually, this should be relatively simple for Qiansimei compared to other companies. I have followed your company, and aside from this accident, your products can be said to have zero negative reviews. The brand loyalty is very high, and I believe that even though there are overwhelming news reports online, many people are still in a wait-and-see state.”

”Once your company issues a statement, those observing will definitely react, and your reputation will rise. The foundation of the masses is the most important.”

”Also, it must be clearly stated the cause of the raw material explosion. Even if it involves your trade secrets, it must be disclosed; this might make you lose financially, but it shows your attitude.”

”Additionally, all Qiansimei’s factories and workshops must be revamped for safety performance. No matter if the job has risks or not, formal employees should be given additional insurance. All these revisions should name the responsible party, who must be a high-level executive!”

”Public relations is also a form of war, and actions must be swift. You should be willing to assume corresponding economic responsibilities and legal liabilities, without pushing the blame onto others.”

Actually, public relations go far beyond what Jiang Huaisi mentioned; there is so much depth to it.

Assessing the situation and responding appropriately is the essence of public relations.

After hearing these, Bai Shishi already had some thoughts in mind, and immediately stopped eating. He put down his chopsticks and said, ”Time waits for no one; I’m going back to deal with this now. You all continue eating.”

Jiang Huaisi smiled and said, ”Let’s go together; maybe I can also help out a bit. Remember to treat me after the matter is settled, Mr. Bai—I want to eat well at the Celestial Dragon Hotel and order a bottle of fine champagne.”

In fact, given Jiang Huaisi’s status as a top public relations expert, she is often invited to the Celestial Dragon Hotel and has tasted all kinds of good drinks.

Saying this is just an art of conversation.

”Okay, no problem; once everything is settled, you can eat and drink there for free for three months!”

”Haha, Mr. Bai, I’ll remember that promise. I’ll go play for a few days soon.” Jiang Huaisi replied with a smile.

...

On the way back to the company, Jiang Huaisi asked Bai Shishi a few key questions.

Often, it was straight to the point, enlightening.

It seemed that with her present, these PR crises were just minor issues.

Back at the company, Jiang Huaisi helped draft an announcement, which Bai Shishi and Lin Tian reviewed and published immediately.

The announcement was a statement, first clarifying what the explosive raw material was, the herbs it was composed of, and the detailed manufacturing process.

Although it has an unpleasant odor, it is absolutely healthy, green, and safe!

This involves trade secrets, possibly leading to financial loss, but the sincerity is undoubtedly shown!

Furthermore, since the factory explosion was so sudden, the cause is unknown and still under investigation.

Qiansimei’s all factories and workshops will undergo a complete revamp to ensure safety.

Additionally, it promises all construction employees an additional insurance besides the current social security, and increases the company’s compensation for employee work injuries.

Lastly, all Qiansimei factories will halt production for a month, with all employees given paid leave! It welcomes inspection and supervision from all relevant departments!

At the very end, the article also @ed relevant departments.

This announcement was published on Qiansimei’s official Xunxin.

The result was another bombshell!

Despite being just a few hundred words, the value within this report is immeasurable.

Sincerity, generosity, acknowledging mistakes and correcting them, integrity afraid of no shadows.

These words all became tonight’s keywords.

The condemning voices online were almost completely erased within an hour, replaced by a wave of positive reviews!

’@ relevant departments, welcoming inspection,’ amused the netizens, becoming an online catchphrase.

Some even commented: This is the first time I’ve seen a company welcome checks from relevant departments; don’t they need a few days to prepare first? How forthright!

Others said: Who said this company is unethical? It’s more righteous than ever! No wonder it can cooperate with the military - it’s capable and upright!

Of course, apart from all the praise, there were still many voices of doubt.

Someone said: Who knows if that raw material is real? If it’s truly healthy, green, and safe, why did it explode?

Besides this, there was another voice online. Some said: It’s just repairing after the fact! The news this morning showed the accident victims demanding compensation at Qiansimei headquarters, yet Qiansimei’s attitude was extremely bad! They talk nicely but act reprehensibly!

Qiansimei was not arrogant about the praise.

Regarding criticism and doubts, Qiansimei did not pay attention.

Two hours after the announcement was published, Qiansimei released a second announcement.

This announcement mainly outlined measures taken and responsible personnel lists.

For example: Inspecting safety hazards in each factory and workshop, responsible person: Company General Manager—Mei Ruyan.

Welcoming customers, media, and management department inspections and supervision, responsible person: Chairman—Bai Shishi.

There are eight similar points, thoroughly preventing similar issues from happening again.

Moreover, all responsible persons are high-level executives, and all signed and marked.

The announcement also bore the company’s official seal at the end.
