The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 588: Chapter 588: Bone-Setting Massage

Lin Tian glanced up at the doctor. He was wearing a very clean white coat, glasses, and seemed to be about fifty years old.

Lin Tian replied, ”Chatting, can’t you see?”

”Chatting?”

The doctor pointed at Xu Ning’an’s leg, his facial muscles twitching as he demanded, ”How do you explain this leg?”

Lin Tian looked down at Xu Ning’an’s leg and found that the plaster was somehow full of cracks, as if someone had violently broken it.

And now Lin Tian was sitting next to Xu Ning’an’s bed, making it look like it was his doing.

In fact, it was indeed Lin Tian’s doing. He had accidentally used too much Spiritual Qi, causing the plaster to crack.

”Dr. Chen, here’s what happened. This is my friend. He said he could help cure my illness, so he gave me a massage.” Xu Ning’an explained.

”What?”

Dr. Chen’s small eyes widened into circles, ”Massage? Nonsense! It’s utter nonsense! This is a comminuted fracture. A massage would only make it worse! Can you take responsibility if something goes wrong?”

Looking at Dr. Chen’s angry expression and all those wrinkles, regardless of the reason, he was indeed dedicated.

Lin Tian smiled slightly and said, ”Who says fractures can’t be massaged?”

”...”

Does that need to be said?

”Miss Xu, I suggest you get another CT scan so that both you and I can be at ease. Also, in the future, don’t believe that massages can cure fractures. It’ll only worsen your condition!”

Dr. Chen said this while glaring at Lin Tian, very angrily stating, ”You, come with me! As a friend, you’re completely unreliable!”

Xu Ning’an glanced at Lin Tian, wanting to say something. Compared to the doctor, she was more willing to believe in Lin Tian. He wouldn’t lie to her, and just now, his massage felt so comfortable.

But before Xu Ning’an could speak, Lin Tian had already stood up with the doctor.

”Wait here for a moment, and I’ll go talk to the doctor about your condition. There are some things I should clarify with him since he’ll need to cooperate with me in treating you in the future.” Lin Tian said.

Standing by, Dr. Chen was so angry that he almost spat out a mouthful of blood.

How could he say that?

I have to cooperate with you on the treatment?

Who do you think you are?

Dr. Chen had already prepared his speech, intending to call Lin Tian outside and criticize him thoroughly. Young people today are just too reckless!

Xu Ning’an watched their backs as they left, feeling an inexplicable worry but unsure what exactly was troubling her.

Outside the ward!

”Can you take responsibility if anything happens?” Dr. Chen questioned.

Lin Tian had a cigarette in his mouth, unlit because smoking wasn’t allowed in the hospital.

”What could happen? I can guarantee to cure her leg,” Lin Tian said.

”You?”

Dr. Chen adjusted his glasses with a hand, scrutinizing Lin Tian.

His first impression of Lin Tian was that he was young, and his second impression was still that he was young.

Young and inexperienced!

He took out his phone, opened a recording app, and asked, ”Earlier, you gave Miss Xu Ning’an’s right leg a massage, do you admit to that?”

Lin Tian didn’t know what he intended to do, but he nodded, ”Yes, I did that.”

”In that case, if her condition worsens, you must take full responsibility! Do you admit to that too?” Dr. Chen pressed on.

Lin Tian slightly furrowed his brow. Was this an attempt to record a confession, wanting to shirk all responsibility?

”Then if her leg fully heals, will it also have nothing to do with you? The bonus and all that have nothing to do with you either?”

Dr. Chen’s expression changed, ”How could her recovery have nothing to do with me?! I am her attending physician!”

”Your logic is messed up. So if her condition worsens, it’s my fault, but if she’s healed, it’s your credit? Is there such a convenient thing in the world?”

”You!” Dr. Chen snorted heavily, ”I won’t argue with you over this. In short, you can’t take responsibility if anything goes wrong!”

”Do you really know medicine? Have you ever heard of the Osteopathic Massage Skill?” Lin Tian asked.

”What do you mean I don’t know medicine? When I studied medicine, you weren’t even born yet!” Dr. Chen got even more agitated. ”Osteopathic massage is suitable for dislocations, skeletal manipulations, and closed fractures. But this is a comminuted fracture, and you still use osteopathic massage? You’re just making things worse!”

”Who told you osteopathic massage isn’t suitable for comminuted fractures? The ancient medical heritage of Celestial Dragon Continent five years ago, it’s extensive and profound. Just because you say it doesn’t work, it doesn’t? You’re too narrow-minded!” Lin Tian said disdainfully.

”Then go ahead and explain how osteopathic massage helps with comminuted fractures!” Dr. Chen probed further. In his eyes, Lin Tian was just a novice, now boldly addressing him without any logical consistency!

”Since it’s osteopathic massage, of course, it’s to make sure the bones return to their correct position. Although Ning’an’s knee is fixed with steel nails now, I don’t think it’s stable. Osteopathic massage helps with the healing of soft tissues.”

Lin Tian was indeed speaking the truth. Though it might sound like nonsense, it was something genuinely practiced by ancients before. Of course, it needed to be combined with Spiritual Qi for effectiveness. Without Spiritual Qi, it would have no effect, or worse, adverse effects.

”You’re talking nonsense! Do you even think there’s any logic in what you’re saying?”

Lin Tian no longer wanted to argue with him. He took out his phone to contact Sun Chuanrong. By himself, he couldn’t make these matters clear.

At this moment, two muscular men walked over.

Upon seeing them for the first time, Lin Tian could tell that these two were experts, at least among ordinary people, on the same level as He Tianming.

In Lin Tian’s eyes, their every move carried a sense of danger. Their eyes were slightly drooped, as if not fully awake, but constantly staying locked on one point.

”Dr. Chen, how is Miss’s condition now?” One of the hulking men, Xu An, asked.

Dr. Chen saw them and immediately forgot about arguing with Lin Tian. He strode over, saying, ”Gentlemen, something bad happened, but it has absolutely nothing to do with me!”

Both men simultaneously frowned. Xu Ping asked, ”What happened?”

Dr. Chen turned back, pointing at Lin Tian, ”This individual gave Miss Xu a massage. If the bones are misaligned, it absolutely has nothing to do with me!”

”Massage?”

Xu Ping strode towards Lin Tian, ”Why?”

”To treat her leg. Is there a problem?” Lin Tian had a cigarette dangling from his lips, not even bothering to glance directly at this muscular man.

Xu An looked at Dr. Chen and asked, ”Massage can treat the leg?”

”Don’t listen to his nonsense. I think he’s just here to cause trouble!” Dr. Chen said indignantly, pointing at Lin Tian.
