The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 578: Chapter 578: Not Quite in Sync

Seeing Lin Tian suddenly appear in front of him, Charlson was dumbfounded.

But his mind worked quickly. Right now, he was standing two steps higher than Lin Tian. If he just pushed him a little, Lin Tian would easily fall from the stairs. After all, it was just two or three steps; he wouldn’t get seriously injured.

Thinking so, Charlson extended his hands, preparing to push Lin Tian’s shoulders from above.

Lin Tian frowned and instantly reacted.

He swung a punch, hitting Charlson’s palm.

”Ah!” Feeling the sharp pain in his arm, Charlson clutched his left hand with his right and began howling.

Was this guy’s fist made of iron?

Why was it so hard?

And so powerful?

Thinking this, looking at Lin Tian’s fierce demeanor, Charlson swallowed nervously. It seemed like he was in for a rough time today.

”What... what do you want to do? This is a school! You’re a student! You should act like a student!” Charlson said, panicked and scared.

Lin Tian couldn’t help but chuckle bitterly. At this point, did he still see himself as a coach?

On the brink of disaster, yet he wanted to lecture me?

Why don’t you go to heaven?

Lin Tian stepped forward, stamping on the stair just below Charlson’s crotch. If he had kicked a bit higher, Charlson’s balls would probably be shattered.

Don’t ever underestimate the power of an intermediate martial artist’s kick.

Cold sweat instantly appeared on Charlson’s back as he instinctively stepped backward, but there were stairs behind him.

His heel caught on the step, and he fell onto it, his eyes wide with fear as he looked at Lin Tian.

At this time, the five boys also caught up, standing behind Charlson, all with identical sinister smiles on their faces.

Fronted by a tiger, backed by wolves, this time Charlson truly had no escape.

”This old guy sure runs fast. Brothers, should we break his hands or legs?” one boy said with an even more malicious smile.

”I think just both hands; making him a ’human stick’ seems pretty good.”

”No, no, no, how about we find some gays?...”

”Damn! You’re that twisted?”

Don’t be fooled by their bloody words; they were really just trying to scare him. They hadn’t been in many gang fights, and doing stuff like chopping hands, breaking legs, or popping cherries was beyond them... well, maybe popping cherries could happen.

”Okay, stop joking around. Let’s focus on what’s important.”

After Lin Tian spoke, the five boys actually quieted down. Although they weren’t familiar with Lin Tian, in front of him, they somehow felt inferior. Maybe it was the aura from ’Tyrant Emperor’s Record’ or because Lin Tian’s 1v30 battle last time left a deep impression on them.

Lin Tian looked at the embarrassed Charlson and asked, ”Are you going back by yourself now? Or should we ’invite’ you back?”

He deliberately emphasized the word ’invite’ heavily.

”I’ll go with you...” Charlson said in a low voice, having no other choice. He didn’t want to be ’invited’ back by Lin Tian. If he could endure less, he would.

He raised his head to look at the ceiling, speechless, as if he had resigned to fate.

On the way back to the street dance room, Charlson looked around, searching for an opportunity to escape.

The only way he could escape now was through the window, but the window was just too small, and with his chubby body, it would be hard to squeeze out.

Watching the group of seven return to the dance room, Zhou Mi said speechlessly, ”If he runs away, he runs. Why bother chasing him? Why did you bring him back? To treat him to a meal?”

One of the boys said, ”Mi, he just groped you; how can we let him off so easily?”

Upon hearing this, Zhou Mi glared fiercely at the boy, looking as if she was going to eat him.

The boy instantly shut up, realizing his flattery had backfired.

”Can you guys just let me go? I’m just trying to make a living. I’ve got elders above me and kids below...”

”Can’t you come up with a new line?” Lin Tian said calmly, ”The reason we brought you back is so you can continue making a living. You just need to...”

Before Lin Tian finished, Charlson hurriedly shouted, ”No need, no need... I won’t eat anymore.”

”...” Lin Tian sighed, exasperated, and patted Charlson hard on the shoulder, saying, ”Relax, we won’t make things difficult for you. Did you really win a place in the national street dance competition?”

”Uh... actually, the rank wasn’t that high, sixth I guess.” Charlson didn’t dare to speak loudly, he was already quite deflated.

”Sixth place is enough. We didn’t bring you back to beat you; you just continue being the coach. Don’t harass the girls and keep your attitude in check. Is there a problem with that?”

Lin Tian asked.

”No... no problem.” Happiness came too suddenly, and Charlson almost couldn’t react.

Lin Tian looked at Zhou Mi and asked, ”How much are you paying him?”

”The welcome party is soon, less than a month away, so we’re giving him ten thousand. The money comes from the club, and if he doesn’t have any skills, he won’t get it,” Zhou Mi replied.

”Is there a problem with that?” Lin Tian looked at Charlson.

”No, no,” Charlson repeatedly nodded, relieved not to be beaten, and having money to earn, he had no objections.

Honestly, this guy still isn’t very likeable. Compared to his previous behavior, now he’s a typical bully to the weak and coward to the strong.

With a meaningful glance at Charlson, Zhou Mi said, ”Alright, stop dawdling, let’s continue training. We previously had a full video when we choreographed. Charlson, watch it first, and if you think there’s anything wrong, speak up without holding back.”

”Sure, sure.” Charlson obviously had no objections.

Once the lights in the dance room were turned off, and the projector was turned on, the previous rehearsal video of the street dance club started playing on the white wall.

The video was very clear, shot from the front, featuring a total of seven members.

The sound system blasted a previous rock track, and the people in the video began dancing.

It started with a robotic dance routine, then connected to a one-hand hop, followed by a prone lift (leaning forward while falling to the ground, with hands beside the chest holding the floor, then stretching the left leg straight up, propelling the body up using the right knee and tiptoe). Completing this move in one fluid motion would give a floating and graceful sensation.

Then, there was a set of intricate footwork, with such rapid changes in steps that it was dizzying, perfectly matched with the dynamic music, it was seriously cool.

After watching the video, Charlson rubbed his chin, pretending to think. Finally, he said, ”Hmm, the choreography isn’t bad, quite comprehensive, and it matches well with the music.”

”Is there anything that needs improvement?” Zhou Mi asked with a sideways glance.

”Yes, but revising is a serious matter, not something that can be decided just like that. However, there is a big issue; the dance in the video was good, but what you guys just danced wasn’t very synchronized,” Charlson said.

Liou Qingcheng interjected, ”No, I was watching from the side just now, and it looked pretty synchronized.”

Compared to Charlson, everyone obviously preferred to trust Liou Qingcheng. Remembering Charlson’s recent history, they looked at him again with unfriendly eyes.

Lin Tian’s eyebrows furrowed; could it be that this guy wasn’t being honest even without a beating?
