Chapter 184: Round Orange Fruit Pokémon Ball

As the group walked, they saw a large Diglett robot using a fishing net to capture Slowpoke.

”How could this happen?”

Mr. Kurt was very puzzled by the Diglett robot.

”I heard someone asking, ’How could this happen!’”

”Since you asked so sincerely.”

”Then I will mercifully tell you.”

”For...”

”Ah! It’s Ash, run!”

Before Jessie and James could finish their lines, Meowth shouted loudly.

Then, without caring that Jessie and James were still outside the robot’s cockpit, it directly activated the robot’s drill, intending to escape.

”Hey, Meowth, we’re still outside!”

”Exactly! Meowth, stop and let us in!”

Jessie and James desperately knocked on the cockpit door.

”Just bear with it, Meow! Get out of Ash’s attack range first before coming in!”

Running was paramount; Meowth no longer wanted to be blown away.

”Team Rockets, you won’t escape! Pikachu, use Iron Tail to rescue the captured Slowpoke! Come out, Gholdengo, use Impact!”

Pikachu rescued the captured Slowpoke with a single tail swipe, while Gholdengo crashed forcefully, sending the three idiots flying.

”What a hateful feeling!” The Team Rocket Trio and their robot were sent flying together.

After resolving this, Ash communicated with the Slowpoke using Aura, and then the Slowpoke lined up and walked towards the exit.

By the time Ash and the others walked out of the cave, the Slowpoke had already reached the platform of Slowpoke Well.

After sitting down, these Slowpoke simultaneously let out a big yawn towards the sky.

Hundreds of Slowpoke collectively used Rain Dance, and the sky instantly darkened. Before long, a heavy rain, like a heavenly downpour, nourished Azalea Town and the surrounding land.

”This... this is exactly like the legend!” Mr. Kurt said, somewhat shocked.

”Mr. Kurt, these Slowpoke yawning to make it rain is actually because they’ve mastered the Rain Dance skill. If hundreds of Slowpoke use it simultaneously, the rainfall won’t be small,” Ash explained.

”I see!”

This torrential rain saved a large number of nearby crops, rivers flowed again, and the weather in Azalea Town was no longer unbearably hot.

”Ash, thank you for driving away the bad guys who were targeting the Slowpoke. Please stay at my house tonight!” Mr. Kurt invited.

”Wouldn’t that be too much trouble?” Ash felt a bit embarrassed.

”No, it’s just me and my granddaughter at home.”

Saying that, Mr. Kurt pulled Ash towards his house.

Misty and Brock had no choice but to follow.

Before long, the group arrived at Mr. Kurt’s house.

At Mr. Kurt’s house, Ash and the others met Mr. Kurt’s granddaughter, Maizie.

After dinner, Ash said to Mr. Kurt, ”Oh, Mr. Kurt, this is the GS Ball that needs to be given to you for research.”

”Is this it? Let me see...”

Mr. Kurt carefully examined the GS Ball.

A moment later, he said with some regret, ”This ball indeed looks very unique. It might take me some time to research it before I can get results.”

”I see! Then I’ll leave this ball with you for now, Mr. Kurt. If you get any results, you can contact Professor Oak or Professor Profesor Ivy.”

Ash wasn’t very interested in the GS Ball. Professor Oak asked him to give this ball to Mr. Kurt for research because he didn’t know how to turn the Rainbow Feather and silver wing into a GS Ball.

Without understanding the manufacturing process, the research naturally wouldn’t make much progress.

”Okay!” Mr. Kurt was also quite interested in the GS Ball. ”By the way, Ash, do you need special Pokemon Balls made from Apricorns?”

”Apricorns? You mean the white Berry on the fruit tree in the yard?” Misty asked.

”Yes, exactly! Apricorns come in different colors. Red ones can be made into Fast Balls, and there are white, blue, black ones...” Maizie explained.

”Oh, I see! That sounds interesting!”

Misty became interested. She had only seen Luxury Balls and Master Balls on Ash and didn’t expect there to be other colors.

”There are many Apricorn trees in the back mountain. If you want Pokemon Balls made from Apricorns, you can collect some Berry and bring them back. I can help make them as a reward for rescuing the Slowpoke!” Mr. Kurt said.

Hearing this, Misty turned to look at Ash and called out in a Charm-like tone, ”Ash~”

”Alright, since Azalea Gym isn’t open yet, let’s go take a look first. However, Misty, don’t have too much hope. It’s not the season for Berry to fully ripen yet, and the recent drought has also affected Berry Growth.”

”Don’t worry, I only need ripe Apricorns.”

Under Maizie’s guidance, Ash and the others soon arrived at the Apricorn forest.

Looking around, there were Apricorn trees of various colors everywhere.

Misty exclaimed, ”Wow, there are so many Berry here!”

Seeing Misty about to pick them, Maizie quickly shouted, ”Sister Misty, many of these Berry aren’t ripe yet. Picking Apricorns is also very particular. If you pick too many or pick unripe ones, the fruit tree can easily die.”

”This is a Pokemon Ball made from yellow Apricorn Berry, very effective against Pokemon that use a Moon Stone. It can become a Moon Ball!”

”This should be fine for catching Clefairy!” Brock said.

”Not just Clefairy, but Nidoqueen, Nidoking, and Wigglytuff are all very useful,” Ash added.

”Maizie, can we pick the yellow ones?” Brock asked.

”No, you’ll know if you look at the Pokemon hanging on the tree. That’s Pineco, and it will explode even with a slight Impact.”

”That sounds pretty good!”

Brock had the idea of catching a Pineco.

”But it’s prone to self-destructing!” Misty said.

”That’s precisely why it’s worth raising!”

Saying that, Brock rushed forward.

As expected, Brock was covered in soot in less than three seconds.

”I already warned him, and he still did that.”

Maizie shrugged, indicating her helplessness.

”Don’t worry, Brock will be fine.”

After a short rest, the group continued deeper, and soon arrived under a green Apricorn tree.

”These green Apricorns can be made into Friend Balls. The Berry on the tree are all ripe and can be picked!”

”Friend Ball? Okay, I’ll do it!”

Brock was about to walk forward.

Ash quickly reached out and pulled him back, ”Wait, Brock, there’s a Beedrill nest ahead!”

”Be... Beedrill?!”

Brock was startled, almost losing his composure again.

”I’ll go pick them instead.”

Ash released Natural Power, and the Beedrill hidden on the green Apricorn tree seemed not to notice him, letting him pick three Berry and take them away.

In this way, the group went through the entire Apricorn forest, and with Ash’s passive Natural Power, all 7 different colored Apricorns were collected.

And Brock also caught a very brave Pineco under a black Apricorn tree.
