Reincarnated as a Mosquito, I Sucked the Reborn Empress to Tears

The meeting began.

There was none of the red tape typical of the Human Race. A Monarch Level member of the Alien Race, clad in heavy armor and with an exceptionally burly frame, stepped forward.

It was one of the commanders of this legion.

It began to lay out the battle plan, chattering away in that hoarse, unpleasant alien language.

Chu Sheng, however, was a mosquito who had now passed “Alien Language Level Four,” so he understood every word perfectly.

“Ssska… Gulara… Northern Domain… weak spot…”

The alien commander even sprinkled a few Chinese words into its speech. It seemed they had also mastered the language of Blue Star…

As the alien commander spoke, a massive map made of light appeared in the center of the cavern.

It was the very same map of Blue Star’s Northern Domain defensive line that Chu Sheng had secretly photographed before!

The content that followed made Chu Sheng’s heart pound with increasing alarm, sending a chill down his spine as he listened.

First, the spatial portal opened by this base could only lead to the spatial node in the Northern Domain. In other words, this base was specifically for attacking the Northern Domain.

This further confirmed that the Alien Race had other forward military bases.

Second.

The dozen or so previous skirmishes by the Alien Race were deliberate; they had not deployed their full strength, all to lull the Human Race’s defenses into a false sense of security.

And for this attack.

They would once again dispatch a team led by a Lord Level alien, just as they had in the previous dozen-plus times.

Then, this unit would feign defeat, even abandoning their gear and fleeing back to the spatial portal in disarray.

Based on past experience, once the humans achieved victory, they would undoubtedly breathe a sigh of relief and might even start cleaning up the battlefield. Their guard would be at its lowest.

And at that very moment!

Within minutes of the vanguard’s retreat!

All the elites in this base—including the fifty Lords, the twenty Monarchs, and even the Purple Nether Demon Lord!

Would pour out in full force!

They would charge out of the portal again with the force of a thunderbolt!

Once they broke through the first line of defense and occupied the Northern Domain.

It would be an absolute catastrophe for the entire Human Race!

And Great Xia would be the first to bear the brunt of it!

…

“HISSS—!!”

As the announcement of the battle plan concluded, the entire cavern of aliens erupted.

They waved their claws and let out bloodthirsty roars, as if they could already see the human world trembling beneath their feet.

Chu Sheng stood rooted in a corner, his heart pounding in secret alarm as he listened.

The battle plan sounded simple, but it was extremely effective.

The most important thing was that this time, the Alien Race was truly prepared to go all out… If they really attacked with their full strength, the unprepared defenses of the Northern Domain would never hold.

’I may just be a mosquito who usually just sucks some blood and levels up, and I’ve never thought about being some kind of savior.’

’But no matter what, I’m definitely on the side of the Human Race. I don’t want to see Blue Star get conquered by the Alien Race.’

’No, I have to go back.’

Chu Sheng quickly made a decision in his heart.

’I have to get this information back before the battle starts tomorrow!’

’Not only do I have to go back, I have to get there before them! And without alerting them?’

But…

How was he supposed to get back?

That was the damn million-dollar question!

After the meeting, Chu Sheng followed Brother Horned out of the meeting area, his mind heavy with worry.

To get back, the only way was through that spatial portal.

However.

That place was the most heavily guarded, and he had no idea what the situation there was like.

Furthermore, only the Alien Race had the authority to activate the portal platform; it was normally kept closed. The Demonic Eye on Blue Star’s end was also usually closed.

’This is trouble…’

Chu Sheng returned to his small cave, so worried his antennae were about to tie themselves in knots.

’Sneak out with the main force?’

’That’s definitely too late. By the time I get out, it’ll be during their first wave’s feint. The news would be too late by then.’

’To get there early, I have to do something before the portal opens.’

Just as Chu Sheng was at his wit’s end.

Suddenly.

A voice came from the entrance of the cave.

It was Brother Horned again.

It shouted impatiently into the cave:

“Valari! Guru!” (Stop sleeping! Get out here and work!)

Chu Sheng, controlling the insectoid shell, poked his head out, looking bewildered.

’We’re about to go to war, what work is there to do?’

Brother Horned didn’t waste any words, simply tossing over a specially made, enormous basket:

“Ssska… Baza-jing!” (Orders from above! We have to move all the high-purity Energy Crystals from the warehouse to the Space platform! Tomorrow, the Demon Lord will use these crystals to stabilize the portal so the entire army can pass through at once!)

“Hurry up! This is a cushy job!”

’Move crystals?’

’To the Space platform?’

Chu Sheng froze for a moment.

Then, his compound eyes lit up abruptly!

’That’s right!’

’Opening a spatial portal requires Energy!’

’Especially to sustain the passage of so many powerful experts. The amount of Energy needed is astronomical!’

’That’s why they have to transport the crystals over in advance to prepare!’

This was undoubtedly a perfect opportunity to get close to the platform.

As for what to do once he got there…

He would have to see for himself first.

“Gualali!” (Alright! Coming!)

Chu Sheng shouldered the basket and scurried after him, his eyes constantly scanning his surroundings.

…

The daytime on this rocky planet was extreme; even during the day, the sky was a dim yellow.

Consequently, the nights were very long, but not completely dark.

In the core area of the rocky peaks, the area around the huge Space platform was now brightly “lit.”

Countless Fierce Soldier Level aliens, like ants moving house, carried heavy crystals on their backs, forming a long line as they ascended the platform step by step.

Chu Sheng was mixed in with this line.

The basket on his back was filled with those deep blue, high-purity crystals.

As he got closer and closer to the platform, Chu Sheng could feel the spatial fluctuations in the air growing more intense.

The security here was indeed abnormally tight.

There was a Lord Level alien standing guard every ten meters, and several terrifying Divine Senses belonging to Monarch Level beings swept back and forth over the line like searchlights.

Any slight abnormal aura would instantly attract a devastating blow.

“HSS—”

A Lord Level alien in charge of inspections reached out and stopped Chu Sheng.

Its cold eyes stared fixedly at Chu Sheng’s insectoid shell, and it sniffed the air.

Chu Sheng’s heart was hammering, but on the surface, he looked like he was about to piss himself, trembling so hard he could barely hold the basket steady.

“Guru…” (Useless trash…)

The Lord Level alien cursed with disgust and waved a hand, telling him to hurry up and get lost.

He was through!

Chu Sheng lowered his head and quickly walked onto the platform.

It was an enormous circular plaza, its ground covered in patterns so complex they made one’s head spin.

In the center of the plaza stood several giant stone pillars, a hundred meters tall, currently emitting a faint glow.

The aliens were neatly stacking the crystals they carried into the grooves at the base of these pillars.

The Alien Race also had a system similar to Arrays.

This was clearly a massive Spatial Array! An alien race capable of researching and deploying such a long-distance spatial portal undoubtedly had an insanely advanced understanding of the Space Law.

Only an Emperor-level, or perhaps even a Divine Level member of the Alien Race, could be capable of such a feat.

These aliens must have relied on this ability to travel here from their home planet!

…

Chu Sheng observed his surroundings as he walked to a stone pillar and pretended to unload his cargo.

These crystals didn’t look big, but their weight was beyond imagination!

His gaze swept quickly across the area.

The crystals on his back would soon be unloaded, and after that, he would have to leave.

’It has to be now!’

’I have to think of a plan right now and put it into action!’

’But what plan?’

’Damn it… This Lord Mosquito hasn’t thought of one yet!’
