Reincarnated as a Mosquito, I Sucked the Reborn Empress to Tears

Northern Domain, the Extreme Cold Icefield.

An inconspicuous black dot appeared, darting through the snowstorm, searching.

It was Chu Sheng, the “Corpse Collector,” back at it again.

“BUZZ… (’I haven’t been here in two days. Looks like another big fight broke out?’)”

Below, the icefield was splattered with dark red bloodstains, not yet fully covered by the heavy snow.

He was just about to search for Alien Race corpses to collect, as usual.

Suddenly.

An extremely bizarre and unsettling aura abruptly descended from high above.

It felt as if he were being watched by some terrifying, abyssal behemoth.

Hm?

Chu Sheng snapped his head up.

A thousand meters up in the sky…

a massive, impossibly long black fissure, stretching for several thousand meters, was slowly opening!

That was…

The Demon Eye! It was opening!

The Alien Race’s spatial fissure, the dimensional passageway connecting to the alien plane, was open!

Chu Sheng had never seen the Demon Eye open on his previous visits. This was the first time he’d witnessed it with his own eyes!

“WOOO—!!!”

Just then, the sound of a horn—ancient, mournful, yet brimming with endless battle intent—suddenly erupted across the icefield.

Immediately after.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Over a hundred miles away, atop the “First Line of Defense” walls that stretched like the Great Wall, hundreds of massive beacon towers ignited in unison!

Pillars of smoke shot into the heavens, their fiery glow illuminating half the sky.

Level One combat readiness!!

“CRACK! CRACK!”

The Demon Eye in the sky opened completely.

Within it was a darkness so profound it seemed to devour light itself.

Immediately after.

A dense swarm of black dots poured out from the darkness, descending upon the icefield below like a cataclysmic flood.

The Alien Race!

The Alien Race was attacking again!

Chu Sheng stared intently; this was his first time seeing a living member of the Alien Race!

These aliens had humanoid torsos, but they were topped with ferocious insectoid heads, their compound eyes glinting with bloodlust;

and they weren’t all identical. Some had wings sprouting from their backs, some were covered in hard black carapaces, and others had sharp, scythe-like spikes for hands and feet;

still others resembled writhing masses of flesh covered in tentacles and eyes.

They emanated an aura of chaos, tyranny, and destruction, utterly clashing with this world.

…

Any human witnessing such a scene for the first time would likely feel an instinctual terror.

It was said that it was common for new soldiers on the battlefield to lose control of their bowels in fright the first time they saw the Demon Eye open and the Alien Race descend.

But Chu Sheng, at this moment, was somewhat excited.

The kind of excitement… a starving wolf feels when it sees a flock of sheep!

’I’ve been stuck collecting dead bodies for days.’

’Finally, I finally get to feed on a living one!’

He was eager to see just what he could suck out of this Alien Race!

…

“KILL!!!”

“For Great Xia behind us! For the Human Race!!”

As the Alien Race landed.

The gates of the First Line of Defense’s walls burst open.

Countless human Martial Artists in combat suits surged out like a torrent of steel.

Flashes of Spiritual Qi in various colors exploded across the icefield.

The roar of Spiritual Energy cannons, the shouts of battle, and the screams of pain instantly intertwined into a symphony of death.

A brutal, massive battle erupted in an instant!

And at the very center of the battlefield, the most brutal part of the meat grinder,

a massive, three-meter-tall Fierce Soldier-level alien was forcing two human soldiers into a steady retreat with its twin bone scythes.

One of the soldiers was covered in blood, the webbing of his hand torn from the impacts, and he was on the verge of being cut down by the scythes.

Just then.

“BZZZ—”

A buzz, so faint it was almost inaudible, rang out.

No one noticed.

A black mosquito the size of a fingernail had suddenly used Instant Teleportation, appearing like a ghost on the nape of the Fierce Soldier alien’s neck.

It was Chu Sheng!

Without hesitation, he brought out his God-devouring Needle and pierced through the alien’s neck without any resistance.

PFFT!

’Suck!’

The alien, which had been in mid-motion, suddenly stiffened.

At the same time, the system’s voice sounded in Chu Sheng’s mind:

[DING! Host has absorbed 723 points of Qi Blood Power. Qi Blood Value +723. Upon digestion, you will receive 70 Evolution Points.]

’Just as I thought, sucking this alien isn’t much different from sucking a Demon Beast!’

’I can get Qi Blood and Evolution Points from both.’

’Getting over 700 Qi Blood in one gulp is quite a lot, even for the evolved God-devouring Needle. At least it’s more than what I get from a Seventh-Grade Demon Beast.’

’And this is just a Fierce Soldier-level alien. I’m only sucking its ordinary blood, not its Essence Blood.’

’If one gulp is too little, I’ll just take a few more!’

’My body’s current capacity is 50,000. I’ve still got a long way to go.’

Oh, right. Chu Sheng’s God-devouring Needle was now absorbing Qi Blood Value, not blood itself! It was as if it was directly extracting the Qi Blood Value from the target’s bloodstream.

For instance, after those few gulps, the amount of blood in the alien’s body hadn’t decreased, but the Qi Blood Power contained within its blood had.

This was the domineering power of the God-devouring Needle.

Of course, even the God-devouring Needle couldn’t drain 100% of a creature’s Qi Blood Power. For example, even if Chu Sheng sucked this alien dry, he couldn’t possibly extract all its Qi Blood Power. Getting even one percent was already quite impressive.

…

’A few more gulps!’

Perched on the alien’s neck, Chu Sheng had gotten a taste of sweetness and wasn’t about to let go.

GULP! GULP!

He took several more gulps in quick succession!

[Qi Blood Value +755]

[Qi Blood Value +688]

[…]

After several consecutive gulps!

The Fierce Soldier alien was completely bewildered.

It felt as if its body had been hollowed out. Its arms, once filled with power, were now limp and devoid of strength.

Even its vision began to blur, as if it had severe anemia.

It roared in fury, wanting to turn and swat the little thing on its back.

But its movements had become incredibly sluggish, as if it were performing tai chi.

The human soldier, who had been on the brink of despair, had no idea what was happening, but how could he possibly pass up such an opportunity?

“Die!!”

The soldier roared and swung his blade down with all his might.

PFFT!

The alien’s head was sent flying, and green blood gushed out.

Even in death, it didn’t understand why its limbs had suddenly gone weak.

“BUZZ… (’No need to thank me. I’m just a good samaritan.’)”

Chu Sheng had already used Instant Teleportation to move a dozen meters away. He watched the alien fall, licking his lips as if he hadn’t had his fill.

Then, he turned his gaze nearby.

There, an even larger Warrior-level alien was wreaking havoc.

’Heh heh, you’re next!’

Chu Sheng flapped his wings and once again became a ghost of the battlefield.

That day.

An extremely bizarre phenomenon occurred on the Northern Domain battlefield.

Many human soldiers discovered that the aliens—usually ferocious and tireless—seemed a bit… weak today?

Some would suddenly stumble mid-fight.

Others would raise their blades but be unable to bring them down.

Some were even more ridiculous, collapsing midway through a charge with their eyes rolling back, only to be hacked to death by the human soldiers who caught up.

“Is… Is this our secret weapon taking effect?”

“I don’t know! Who cares! Kill them!!”

The soldiers’ morale soared.

Meanwhile, the little mosquito darting about, hidden in the chaos, had now landed on the back of a Monarch Level alien!
