Reincarnated as a Mosquito, I Sucked the Reborn Empress to Tears

Outside a cave mansion at the very top of the highest, most central peak in a forest of stone spires.

The whistling wind grew sharp in his ears.

Chu Sheng clung desperately to a crevice in the four-armed alien’s carapace, his body curled into a minuscule ball, not even daring to breathe.

That oppressive feeling, originating from the depths of his very soul… His senses hadn’t been wrong!

Emperor-level!

A true, Emperor-level member of the Alien Race!

This cave was definitely the home of an Emperor-level member of the Alien Race!

Chu Sheng never imagined that he would encounter an Emperor Realm alien before he’d even seen a human at the Emperor Realm.

In the presence of an Emperor Realm being, Chu Sheng didn’t dare let his guard down for even a moment.

He cursed his luck internally.

’All I wanted was to hitch a ride up here, check things out, and do a little scouting.’

’But who could have guessed that a little scouting would lead me right to the final boss?’

Now, Chu Sheng couldn’t leave even if he wanted to. He could only bite the bullet and hang on for the ride.

“Hsss—Garidoru!”

The four-armed alien didn’t enter directly. Instead, it landed respectfully on a protruding platform at the cave’s mouth, suppressed its entire aura, lowered its head, and let out a low, reverent call toward the entrance.

It was both an announcement of its arrival and a request for entry.

A full half-minute passed.

Only then did a muffled response echo from the depths of the pitch-black, cavernous tunnel, which resembled the throat of a colossal beast.

“Guh… rummm.”

The sound wasn’t loud, yet it boomed in Chu Sheng’s tiny head like muffled thunder, the vibration making his wings go numb.

Having received permission, the four-armed alien cupped the few Top-Grade Crystals and cautiously walked inside.

The moment they entered the cave, the light instantly grew dim.

But it wasn’t a pitch-blackness where one couldn’t see their hand in front of their face; rather, it was a gloom tinged with a deep, crimson hue.

Unlike the levels below, the surrounding rock walls weren’t studded with glowing crystals. Instead, a dark red, magma-like liquid trickled down their surfaces, emitting a scorching heat and a faint crimson light.

The cave was enormous, practically a small plaza.

In the deepest part of the cavern, a massive throne was built from countless, ghastly white bones.

These were not the bones of the Alien Race, but of the Human Race.

A colossal shadow loomed upon the throne.

The shadow was a full five or six meters tall, its body covered in purple-black scales. It had a long, barbed tail trailing behind it. Its head was a bizarre triangular shape, devoid of eyes, featuring only a giant maw filled with sharp teeth and a single vertical eye on its forehead that pulsed with an eerie purple light.

The Emperor-level alien—the Purple Nether Demon Lord!

From his hiding spot in the crevice, Chu Sheng stole a glance at the Emperor-level alien.

Even that single glance sent a searing pain through Chu Sheng’s compound eyes, as if the purple light would burn them blind.

’So strong!’

’This thing is definitely stronger than the average human at the Emperor Realm!’

The four-armed alien walked to a spot ten meters from the throne and fell to its knees with a THUD. It held the crystals high, its body trembling violently.

’Now!’

He seized the opportunity, using the gust of air created as the four-armed alien knelt to silently detach himself from the crevice in its carapace, drifting down like a speck of dust.

He then rolled with the momentum, tumbling directly into the shadow of a nearby rock crevice.

The entire sequence was as smooth as flowing water. There were no fluctuations of Qi Blood or Space, not even the slightest disturbance in the air.

This was the basic qualification for a sneaky, opportunistic mosquito!

The Purple Nether Demon Lord on the throne seemed not to have noticed the insignificant commotion.

It extended a claw resembling a withered branch and made a grasping motion in the air.

SWOOSH! SWOOSH! SWOOSH!

The Top-Grade Crystals in the four-armed alien’s hands instantly flew into its grasp.

“CRUNCH!”

The Purple Nether Demon Lord snatched a crystal, tossed it into its mouth, and crunched it to pieces as if it were a candy bean before swallowing.

A terrifying wave of Energy rippled through its body.

’Is it done eating?’

The four-armed alien quickly touched its head to the floor, then began to back away, preparing to leave.

Just then, the Purple Nether Demon Lord on the throne suddenly froze.

Its massive, triangular head swiveled slowly, its Perception, which had seemed dormant, snapping open in an instant.

A tangible wave of Divine Sense, like a radar sweep, instantly scanned the entire cave!

’Crap!’

Hiding in the rock crevice, Chu Sheng felt his heart lurch.

’How is this old monster’s Perception Power so sharp?!’

The wave of Divine Sense was intensely invasive, sweeping inch by inch over the ground, the walls, not even sparing the motes of dust in the air.

He watched as the wave was about to wash over his hiding spot.

’Run?’

’Absolutely not!’

’The moment I move, even the Space fluctuation from an Instant Teleportation would get me locked onto instantly at this range.’

’Then there’s only one option…’

Without a moment’s hesitation, Chu Sheng stopped breathing.

His heart stopped, his blood ceased to flow, and his spiritual fluctuations completely withdrew. This was a trick he had secretly learned from a Secret Technique Gu Yuexi had once used.

For an ordinary creature, stopping one’s heart instantly is incredibly difficult.

But Chu Sheng was a mosquito.

So, for him, it was comparatively simple.

Right now, in terms of Perception, he was less than a stone, less than a speck of dust. He had become a complete “corpse,” or rather, a piece of inorganic matter devoid of any signs of life.

VMMMM—

The domineering wave of Divine Sense swept over Chu Sheng’s body.

It lingered for about 0.1 seconds.

And then… moved on.

’Phew…’

Chu Sheng let out a long sigh of relief in his mind. ’Holy crap, I almost peed myself!’

’This is even more intense than dancing on the edge of a knife!’

The Purple Nether Demon Lord seemed to have found nothing amiss. It shook its head in confusion, the vertical eye on its forehead flickered twice, and finally closed.

Then, it rose to its feet, and its massive body simply melted into the shadows behind the throne, disappearing from sight.

’Did it leave?’

Chu Sheng waited patiently for a full ten minutes. Only when he was certain that the terrifying aura had completely left the mountain peak did he dare to exit his state of feigned death.

BZZZ BZZZ. (’Damn, that scared the crap out of this Lord Mosquito.’)

Chu Sheng scratched his little head with a mosquito leg, wiped away some non-existent cold sweat, and poked his head out of the rock crevice.

Once he confirmed it was safe, his courage immediately swelled.

’Well, since I’m already here… This is the bedroom of an Emperor-level big shot. I can’t leave empty-handed.’

Chu Sheng vibrated his wings and began to wander around the luxurious, massive cave.

The things here were indeed a far cry from the slums below.

All around were various bizarrely shaped implements. Some looked like weapon racks, hung with bone weapons that radiated a baleful aura; others resembled some sort of altar, still bearing the stains of dried blood.

Chu Sheng even discovered the skeleton of a humanoid creature that was neither of the Alien Race nor the Human Race!

’Is this another Race, besides the Alien Race and the Human Race?’

Even in death, the bones still radiated powerful waves of Energy.

But Chu Sheng wasn’t interested in any of that.

His gaze finally landed on a huge stone table.
