Reincarnated as a Mosquito, I Sucked the Reborn Empress to Tears

Chapter 194: Chapter 194: The Beast Taming Academy Is Covered by This Cockroach

Hong Kong Island University, Beast Taming Academy.

Below a women’s dormitory building.

Dozens of female students from the Beast Taming Academy were in a standoff with a group of male students in front of them!

This group of young men wasn’t from the Beast Taming Academy. They were specially invited students brought in by Hong Kong Island University from other universities abroad, most of them hailing from the Island Country, the Goryeo Kingdom, and other universities in East Asia.

These specially invited students were all geniuses from their respective foreign schools and would be participating in the upcoming academy-wide competition alongside the students of Hong Kong Island Academy!

At the very front of the crowd of girls stood Su Li.

Her expression was ice-cold.

“I already said no!”

“This arrangement of yours is completely unreasonable. This is a women’s dormitory. These specially invited students are all men, so how can they live here?”

The one in charge of bringing these specially invited students over, a department head from the student council, quickly stepped forward to try and persuade her:

“Su, don’t be like this.”

“These specially invited students have had a long and tiring journey. We have to arrange a place for them to rest now. It just so happens that the first three floors of your dormitory are unoccupied, which is why they’ve been assigned here.”

“Don’t worry, it’s only temporary. They’ll leave as soon as the academy-wide competition is over. Besides, the university will strictly prohibit them from going up to the higher floors. They absolutely won’t disturb you!”

Su Li sneered.

“Heh, absolutely? And what guarantee can you give? Our Beast Taming Academy has never invited any special students. Your other academies invited them, so that’s your business. What right do you have to make them live in our Beast Taming Academy’s building?”

“In any case, if these people want to move in here, I, Su Li, will be the first to say no!”

As Su Li’s words fell, the group of girls behind her also chimed in, filled with righteous indignation:

“Exactly, we don’t agree either!”

“You invited them, so just have them stay in your academies’ buildings!”

Seeing that the girls were being stubborn, the student council’s organization department head, Cai Yu, began to grow impatient.

“What are you all yelling about!”

“This was arranged by the university leadership! We’re all part of Hong Kong Island University, so why are you dividing us into this academy and that academy? Isn’t your Beast Taming Academy part of our Hong Kong University?”

“I already told you, it’s only temporary! And they will only use the fire escape to go up and down; they won’t use the same routes as you! The passages above the third floor will also be temporarily sealed! Is that still not good enough? How can you people from the Beast Taming Academy be so short-sighted!”

“Now move aside! Can’t you see they’re exhausted?”

Facing Cai Yu’s shouting, Su Li didn’t retreat a single step. Her expression grew even colder.

“Heh, so *now* you’re saying we shouldn’t be divided by academies?”

“I said no, and I mean no!”

“If these people want to set foot in this dormitory today, they’ll have to get past me, Su Li, first!”

After speaking, she put her fingers to her lips, and a unique, melodious eagle cry rang out!

…

Watching Su Li’s actions, Cai Yu’s face darkened completely.

He understood that Su Li was planning to force the issue head-on.

In truth, he didn’t fully agree with this arrangement either, but there was nothing he could do. It had been decided by the university leadership, and he had to carry it out.

Coincidentally, most of the university’s upper management were in a meeting today discussing the upcoming academy-wide competition. Many teachers had also gone to the Secret Realms to make preparations, so this task had fallen entirely on the student council.

The scene fell into a stalemate.

At this moment, the specially invited students, who had been waiting for a long time, also grew impatient.

One of the Goryeo students stepped out and spoke in halting, accented Great Xia:

“What’s the situation?”

“Who are these girls? Why are they stopping us from going in?”

“These Great Xia girls are so impolite!”

“Shouldn’t it be their honor to live with us noble Koreans?!”

After he finished speaking, a man from the Island Country took a step forward, looking Su Li up and down as he said:

“If I heard correctly, this young lady just said that if we want to enter the dormitory, we have to get past her first.”

“My Great Xia isn’t very good. Can I take this to mean that these people are challenging us?”

As he spoke, a domineering aura erupted from him, and he placed his hand on the hilt of the Samurai Sword at his side.

At this, Cai Yu grew even more frantic.

“No, no, no! Ryuzaki, don’t be rash.”

“Su Li, please, explain yourself! You didn’t mean to disrespect them…”

Su Li chuckled coldly.

“Respect?”

“As students of Great Xia, why should we respect these uncultured louts from petty little countries?”

“He didn’t hear clearly, did he? Then I’ll say it again! If you want to enter the women’s dormitory of our Beast Taming Academy, you’ll have to get past me, Su Li, first!”

“That’s right! And us!”

The girls behind Su Li shouted in agreement.

For a moment, the tension between the two sides was thick enough to cut with a knife. However, while all the girls present were Beast Tamers, most of their Contracted Beasts were not with them. As a result, their imposing presence was immediately suppressed.

Although Su Li at the forefront projected an impressive aura, she was growing anxious. ’I summoned my Thousand Feather Snow Eagle a while ago. It should have been here by now, but there’s still no sign of it!’

Cai Yu watched this unfold, extremely anxious but completely helpless. His only option was to quickly make a call for help.

’Given the atmosphere here, a fight could really break out. And once a fight starts, things won’t be so simple anymore!’

「Meanwhile.」

Among these foreign specially invited students, most were the best of their age from their respective countries. As such, they were naturally very arrogant. Some were even completely condescending, a result of their narrow, insular perspectives.

The two from the Island Country and the Goryeo Kingdom who had just stepped forward were especially offended. Being rejected by a group of girls made them feel deeply insulted and that they had lost a great deal of face.

“So impolite.”

“Today, allow me to teach you Great Xia People a lesson.”

The student from the Island Country who had spoken first was already preparing to draw his sword and put Su Li and the others in their place.

Just then, a clear, loud eagle cry echoed from the sky!

Everyone looked up in unison to see a giant, snow-white eagle circling in the air.

At the same time, a continuous tremor ran through the ground, like the beating of a giant drum pounding in everyone’s heart!

What was that sound?

The tremors grew more and more intense, and loose pebbles began to bounce on the ground!

The crowd looked around in alarm. Through a thick cloud of dust, a massive horde of hundreds, even thousands, of Demon Beasts was stampeding toward them with overwhelming momentum: giant pythons whose scales glinted coldly, Giant Rhinoceroses with bony horns on their heads, black panthers whose forms were blurs of motion…

The roars of hundreds of Demon Beasts, the thunder of iron-hard hooves on the ground, and the dull thuds of colliding bodies rolled through the crowd like a clap of thunder, shaking their eardrums.

The specially invited students tensed up, one by one, and began to back away unconsciously.

Finally, the dense horde of beasts charged right up to the crowd, but they didn’t make a reckless move. Instead, they all looked up at the sky. From the air, the circling Thousand Feather Snow Eagle dove down, landing at the very front of the horde!

And only then did everyone get a clear look. On the head of the Thousand Feather Snow Eagle, there was another Demon Beast… a… giant cockroach?!!

’A… a beast horde?’

’Since when the hell are there beast hordes on campus?’

’And their leader… seems to be a cockroach?’
