Chapter 939: Chapter 939: Daisy Grant’s Transformation

-

After leaving the hospital, Daisy Grant arranged to meet with the chief assistant of Grant Clan Group, Diego Campbell, to understand the current situation of the Grant Clan.

Only then did she realize that the situation with the Grant Clan was much more severe than she had imagined.

Diego reported the company’s recent developments to Daisy, and she requested the company’s recent plans and important project information from him before bidding farewell.

Just as Daisy left, Diego picked up his phone and made a call.

”President Grant, Miss Grant just left. As you guessed, she’s very concerned about the company’s issues. As per your instructions, I’ve informed her of the company’s real situation and given her the documents. I believe she won’t disappoint you and will make good use of your efforts!”

In the hospital.

Romeo Grant hung up the call from his assistant Diego and looked out at the falling snow, showing a contented smile.

Daisy, your growth is something you must strive for yourself. Parents cannot shield you forever. How far the Grant Clan can go in the future depends on your own ability.

-

Daisy Grant returned to her apartment with the documents and files Diego gave her, and sat in the study to carefully review the Grant Clan’s recent important projects, looking for ways to resolve their current situation.

When Dawn Sutherland returned home, he noticed the shoes switched at the entrance, realizing Daisy was home. He placed the takeaway on the dining table and found Daisy seriously going through documents in the study.

”Daisy, have something to eat. Where did you go this afternoon?” Dawn asked, standing by the door.

Daisy looked up, ”Second brother, you go ahead and eat. Don’t worry about me; I still have some matters to finish.”

Dawn hummed in response and returned to the dining table to eat. After he finished his meal, Daisy still hadn’t come out. He frowned slightly and got up to go to the study.

As he was about to push open the study door, Daisy’s voice inside caused him to pause.

”Diego, I’ve gone through those projects and sent some thoughts and opinions to your email. Also, unless it’s something important, let me handle minor matters. Let my dad rest as he’s in the hospital. I hope you can give more attention to the company.”

”As for the rumors, don’t bother with them. I’ll find a way to deal with the Sutherland Family and make them quiet. Thank you, Diego.”

Daisy’s voice ceased, and Dawn stood outside with slightly cold fingers.

Creak——

The study door was pulled open, and Daisy saw Dawn standing at the doorway, her gaze shifting, with a somewhat low voice: ”Second brother.”

Dawn glanced at Daisy and spoke calmly, ”Come eat, the food’s getting cold.”

”Okay.” Daisy lowered her gaze and walked towards the dining table.

As she was about to pick up the bowl in front of her to eat, Dawn suddenly reached out and took the bowl, serving her a new bowl of hot rice, and sat opposite her, ”Eat up, you need to eat more now that there’s two of you.”

Daisy nodded, picked some dishes, and quietly ate.

Dawn pressed his lips together, watching the person across from him, ”Is the Sutherland Household giving you a hard time? Or giving the Grant Family a hard time?”

Daisy’s fingers paused for a moment, ”Second brother... If the Sutherland Family pushes us too far, I think I will fight back. The broken engagement was my fault, not my parents’, and I can’t stand idly by watching my parents get mocked.”

Dawn softly agreed, ”Do what you want, don’t be afraid.”

Daisy looked up at Dawn, ”Second brother, sorry, but I really can’t continue enduring the Sutherland Household...”

Selah Sutton got so angry that her father was hospitalized, and thus the relationship between the Sutton Family and the Sutherland Family cut off.

Dawn chuckled, ”Do you think I would stop you or ask you, out of consideration for me, to put up with the Sutherland Family?”
