Chapter 926: Chapter 926: I Once Confessed My Feelings to You in Hints

Sam Brown supported Jerri Sutton as they walked, with Jerri Sutton’s assistant following behind. The two got into Jerri Sutton’s car, and Sam Brown drove away in a spirited manner.

After the three left, Daisy Grant helped Dawn Sutherland into the driver’s seat, and then drove him back to the apartment herself.

Upon arriving at the apartment, Daisy Grant helped the heavily intoxicated Dawn Sutherland out, struggling to get him inside the apartment.

Daisy Grant brought Dawn Sutherland into the bedroom and laid him on the bed. As she looked at his peaceful sleeping face, her fingers paused as she covered him with a blanket, her eyes lingering on his gentle and elegant face with deepened emotions.

Daisy Grant reached out, her slender fingers tracing Dawn Sutherland’s features, outlining his picture-perfect brows and high nose bridge, as stunning as the first time they met in childhood.

”Second brother, do you know that when I first saw you at the gate of the Sutherland Family home as a child, you amazed my whole world? Later, as we grew up, you became so courteous and exceptional, like a light breeze and clear moon, softening my entire youth.”

When Daisy Grant’s fingers brushed over Dawn Sutherland’s thin lips, she recalled their passionate kiss at Royal One today, her eyes filled with starlight.

Daisy Grant lowered her head and gently kissed his lips, smiling softly: ”May time stay serene and calm, may we never part throughout our lives; you remain as picture-perfect as ever, and I will always love you as I did at the beginning.”

Daisy Grant got up, taking a deep look at the person sleeping soundly on the bed, and went to the refrigerator to find something to eat.

Inside the refrigerator were some flower pastries that Dawn Sutherland had bought at some unknown time.

Daisy Grant gave a faint smile, took a rose pastry, and stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, savoring it with a gentle smile on her lips.

Holding the flower pastry, Daisy Grant’s eyes grew deep, and she murmured, ”It’s not that I particularly like flower pastries, what I want is the flowers inside them. There are so many kinds of flower pastries, why did I tell you I wanted rose pastries, don’t you really understand?”

Pinching the rose inside the pastry, Daisy Grant pursed her lips: ”My eighteenth birthday, I will never forget. Seeing the photo in your wallet today reminded me of that year, which is also why I chose to go abroad. I haven’t returned for five years, actually, I’ve just been escaping, trying to forget you, but after five years of effort, I haven’t forgotten; instead, I’ve etched you into my mind and heart.”

”Second brother, do you know why I chose to go abroad? When I was eighteen, I ambiguously confessed my feelings to you, but you rejected me, do you still remember?”

”Second brother, being your sister for so many years, do you know how helpless and bitter I am? I don’t want to be your sister at all, I want to be the one who shares a bed with you and grows old together as your wife.”

Daisy Grant gave a bitter smile, ”But after losing everything and trading everything for this dream, I still achieved it. Even if you don’t love me, even if you don’t like me, at least I succeeded in marrying you, becoming your legally recognized wife.”

Holding the flower pastry, Daisy Grant stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, looking at the bright moon outside, her consciousness drifting back to the year she was eighteen.
