Chapter 928: Chapter 928: The Blue Love Letter of My Eighteenth Year

The Grant family was finally done with their business, and upon checking the time, it was eleven-thirty. They promptly called Daisy to cut the cake. Daisy made the same wish that she had been making every birthday over the years, in front of the candle-lit cake, and then blew out the candles.

Her parents stayed with Daisy to eat cake, after a busy day they felt somewhat fatigued, and told Daisy to go to sleep early, then got up and went upstairs to their room.

Daisy thought of Dawn Sutherland who went out to buy flower cakes and hadn’t come back yet, and sat alone in the living room, sitting in front of the cake waiting for Dawn.

”Brother, for so many years, I’ve had just one wish, I want to marry you in the future. I’ve made this wish year after year, but nothing has come true!”

Daisy held onto the blue letter, looking at the heavy rain outside, waiting for Dawn.

A while later, Dawn returned, dripping wet, his whole body trembling a little. He carried two boxes of flower cakes over to Daisy, smiling gently, ”Happy Birthday, Daisy.”

As soon as Dawn’s voice fell, the wall clock in the living room chimed softly. Twelve o’clock, it’s the next day, Daisy’s birthday was over.

Daisy reached out to take the flower cakes, a bit of disappointment in her eyes, but she still managed a faint smile, ”Thank you, Brother. I’ve saved some cake for you, have a bit.”

”Alright.” Dawn sat down.

The two sat on the sofa, and Daisy sliced a piece of cake and handed it over to Dawn, ”Brother, thank you for the birthday gift.”

Dawn pressed his lips briefly, ”Sorry for being late, Daisy.”

”It’s alright,” Daisy smiled slightly, ”Brother, I’m eighteen now, you’re still older than me, when will... when will you get a girlfriend?”

Dawn’s fingers stiffened a little, he spooned the cake into his mouth, speaking in a low voice, ”Let’s wait... I’m not in the mood right now, I just want to work hard, only when I succeed will I be qualified to love.”

The champagne Daisy drank started to kick in, her face turned a bit rosy, and her head felt a little woozy. Listening to Dawn’s words, she felt the blue envelope she held silently crying, and she picked up the champagne from the table, laughed carelessly, ”Brother, I wish you to succeed soon, and I wish you happiness.”

After Daisy finished speaking, she downed the entire glass of champagne in one go, her face always wore a smile, radiant and radiant, except for some indescribable sadness deep in her eyes.

Her secret affection, a secret affection for so many years, was skillfully rejected!!

Heh, look, this is unrequited love! When spoken of too much, it’s just tears and bitter heartache!

The eighteenth birthday, unforgettable to the extreme!!

Daisy kept drinking, her vision blurred, she just saw her brother’s face inching closer, coming closer and closer, as if heading for her lips.

Daisy’s eyes powerlessly lowered, and in the moment her gaze dropped, she put the blue letter into Dawn’s pocket...

Brother, if you accept me, I’ll refuse Aidan’s engagement. If you reject me, then I won’t bother you again, I’ll stay far away, not annoying you...

Brother, how will you respond to me?

Daisy stood in front of the apartment’s floor-to-ceiling window, recalling everything from when she was eighteen, her lips couldn’t help but curve into a bitter smile. After giving the love letter to Brother, it was as if it sunk into the ocean without a trace, there was no reply.

She waited for three days, didn’t get a single word of reply from Brother, in despair she applied to a school abroad, packed her bags and left the country, heading to an unfamiliar place.

Five years, she spent five years trying to end this unrequited love, but ultimately couldn’t forget, Brother’s figure seemed etched onto her heart, making her unable to let go or forget, her mind was filled with thoughts of Brother all day...
