Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 931: Chapter 931: He Stole Her Kiss...

Dawn Sutherland’s heart skipped a beat, took a sip of milk, and responded softly, ”And then?”

”Second brother—when did you take that picture of me?” Daisy Grant asked, tilting her head.

Dawn looked out the window, caught Daisy’s gaze on him from the corner of his eye, and maintained his calm composure, his voice serene and steady, ”On your eighteenth birthday.”

”You were late for a long time that day.” Daisy smiled slightly, her hand holding the milk cup felt a bit stiff.

”Yes, but fortunately, I didn’t miss it. I managed to give you a rose cake at midnight.” Dawn’s eyes were a bit profound.

She was so beautiful that day, beautiful enough to take his breath away.

Actually, he wasn’t late at all. He had arrived early, but seeing her and Aidan Sutherland mingling among the crowd, a perfect match of prince and princess, the sight bothered him so much that he didn’t go inside and quietly withdrew.

The party was bustling, and he stood outside the Grant family home, alone, whispering his wishes through the high walls to her, ”Daisy, happy birthday.”

That night, with just a wall between them, he repeated those words countless times but lacked the courage to say them to her, foolishly standing outside, thinking of her perfect match with Aidan, feeling utterly dejected.

”Second brother, that day... in the end, did I get drunk?” Daisy held the milk, looking at Dawn with a slight frown.

Dawn’s body stiffened, ”Yes, you got drunk.”

Daisy recalled the scene from when she was eighteen, her eyes heavy with memory.

She remembered being drunk, her vision blurry, as she saw her second brother gradually approach her...

Thinking of this, Daisy’s cheeks flushed slightly, ”I think I was drunk.”

Otherwise, how could she have had the illusion, in which her second brother slowly approached her, even leaning towards her lips...

Dawn nodded, replying casually, ”Yes, you were drunk.”

If she hadn’t been drunk, how could he have taken advantage of it, kissing her on that breathtaking night of her eighteenth birthday...

Her eighteenth birthday celebration, he stole a kiss from her—

”Second brother, how did you get back home in the end?” Daisy asked.

”I took a cab and squeezed in at Third Haynes’ place for the night.” Dawn pursed his lips, looking out the window with a deep profile.

Daisy was silent for a while, recalling her blue love letter, she tentatively asked, ”Second brother... and afterwards? Did anything memorable happen?”

Dawn drank the last sip of milk and shook his head, ”I squeezed in with Third Haynes for the night, got kicked off the bed by him twice, do you think that’s memorable enough?”

Daisy’s fingers stiffened a little, she gave Dawn a faint smile and didn’t say anything further.

It turned out her second brother had long forgotten, forgotten the love letter she wrote him.

Well, let it be forgotten, to spare the awkwardness now.

Being a sister is always better than being the most familiar strangers.

The two stood by the window and talked about many things, from childhood to growing up, endless topics. Daisy looked at the gentle and refined Dawn before her, her eyes filled with infatuation and affection.

The morning light illuminated.

Daisy looked at Dawn and smiled softly, ”Second brother, thank you for helping me when I was at my lowest and had nothing.”

Dawn smiled faintly, ”At my lowest, when I had nothing, there was only you by my side, always only you.”

They exchanged a smile, as the bright and warm sunlight shone in the sky.

——

Daisy and Dawn arrived at C.Y for work.

At noon, after finishing her tasks, Daisy went to the employee cafeteria for lunch.

As she sat there quietly eating, the chatter beside her drifted into her ears...
