Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 846: Chapter 846: When Is the Wedding Date Set?

”Second brother, how are things going with Evalian Chapman lately? When are you planning to get married?” Daisy Grant asked, her fingers nervously pinching into her palm, though her face displayed a faint smile.

Dawn Sutherland paused briefly, glanced at Daisy Grant, and replied in a calm tone, ”Not decided yet, let’s wait until the company is on track.”

Dawn’s tone was calm and emotionless, rarely replying like this. Daisy Grant acknowledged with a slight nod and walked ahead.

”Has Elsa been giving you trouble lately?”

Daisy Grant shook her head with a smile, ”No, she’s been keeping to herself lately. The Grant Family has a reputation in City C, and Elsa wouldn’t be foolish enough to target me constantly. Apart from the Grant Family, the Sutherland Family values face too, and Aidan Sutherland wouldn’t allow her to act up in front of me.”

”That’s good.”

Dawn Sutherland reminded Daisy Grant, who wore high heels, to be careful of the cobblestone road, slowing his pace and walking on her left side.

Daisy Grant pursed her lips, ”Second brother, don’t worry about Elsa’s issues anymore. Trouble her, and she’ll bear a grudge. Second brother, don’t provoke her, as petty people are hard to predict!”

At the opening party, Elsa’s schemes had failed, yet she might come up with new plans to trap both her and her second brother.

”I’m not afraid of Elsa; if she dares to harass or target you, I won’t let her off!”

A warm feeling stirred within Daisy Grant, and she shook her head, speaking softly, ”Second brother, if Elsa tries to play tricks, I won’t tolerate her anymore. I don’t want to play such childish games with Elsa, but if she doesn’t know better and keeps provoking me, I’ll definitely retaliate. Second brother, your company has just opened, and there’s a lot to handle; don’t get distracted by my small issues. Elsa’s best at sowing discord; if she does anything in front of Aidan Sutherland, second brother, you’ll be in a tough spot.”

If Elsa suggests to Aidan or the Sutherland Family to deal with second brother’s new company, which hasn’t yet stabilized, he’ll have a hard time in the business world.

Dawn Sutherland’s expression darkened, ”Even if she doesn’t sow discord, my relationship with Aidan and the Sutherland Family isn’t very good.”

Daisy Grant was about to say something, but Dawn’s phone in his pocket started ringing.

Holding the phone and seeing the caller ID, Dawn’s eyes flickered slightly, but he didn’t answer.

Daisy Grant smiled faintly, ”Second brother, why are you in a daze? Answer the phone.”

Dawn nodded and pressed the answer button.

”Hello, Evalian,”

Dawn spoke, revealing the caller’s identity. Daisy Grant stopped in her tracks, stood beside Dawn, lowered her brows, and remained silent.

Whatever was said on the other end, Dawn spoke in a very low tone, ”Don’t be stubborn, you’re doing well at your job, why resign?..... Evalian... I’m at the hospital now, Arlo got injured..... alright”

Dawn hung up and put his phone back in his pocket, his gaze deepened.

”Second brother, is something up? How about you go ahead? Brother Seys and Ariel, I can take care of them. Besides, Third Young Master Haynes is here too.”

Dawn shook his head and replied softly, ”It’s nothing, Evalian called. She’s resigning from her current job and wants to join my company to help.”

Daisy Grant chuckled slightly without replying.

The two sat by the fountain at the hospital.

”By the way, Daisy, your proposal last time helped me a lot, I haven’t had the chance to thank you.”

Daisy Grant laughed and shook her head, ”It’s great to help you, second brother. What’s the point of saying thank you between siblings?”

”Which month and day is the wedding set?” Dawn asked in a deep voice.

”The tenth of the month after next.”

”Just two months left.” Dawn chuckled softly, his gaze dimmed deeply.
