Chapter 810: Chapter 810: You Really Are a Pig!

She signed with Halo Media, and he could protect her, ensuring smooth sailing in the entertainment industry, preserving her innocence and purity.

Lydia Brooke turned back, a cold smile playing on her lips, ”President Saxton, if you want to recruit me, talk to my agency and pay the penalty for the breach of contract! I don’t want to talk to you right now, sorry!”

Lydia shook off Jorge Saxton’s hand and walked towards her apartment without looking back.

Jorge Saxton watched Lydia’s indifferent back, pursed his thin lips, and turned back to his car.

Jorge Saxton got into the car, drove to the neighborhood’s grocery store to buy a few cans of beer, then picked up an ointment at the pharmacy, and drove back to Lydia’s apartment building.

Jorge parked the car, sipping beer can after can, his gaze never leaving the lights that turned on when Lydia returned to her floor. He now knew she lived on the third floor.

The lights on the third floor were still on, and a figure stood on the balcony, looking thin and frail from behind.

The figure stood on the third-floor balcony for a long time, and Jorge Saxton never averted his gaze. When he finished his beer, he couldn’t help but pull out his phone and dial a number.

The call was not answered for a long time.

”Lydia, it’s me.” Jorge Saxton spoke in a deep voice.

”What’s up?”

The voice on the other end was still indifferent and cold, chilling Jorge’s heart.

Jorge felt a lump in his throat and hoarsely said, ”I’m downstairs from your home... I bought ointment for you.”

Beep----

The call was abruptly disconnected, leaving a heartless busy signal.

Jorge held his phone, watching the figure on the balcony turn back into the room. Under the cold moonlight, the figure appeared even more indifferent and distant. Jorge forced a bitter smile.

Lydia truly hated him, and no matter what he did, she would never forgive him for not making it to the appointment back then.

Jorge got out of the car and sat on the hood, deeply gazing at the third floor, feeling uneasy.

For a long, long time, when Jorge felt the early winter wind was biting cold, his dim eyes slowly spotted a familiar figure approaching him.

His vision suddenly brightened, watching the person walk towards him without moving, Jorge was dumbfounded.

”Lydia.”

Jorge called out, his voice still deep and filled with lingering affection.

Lydia approached, looked at Jorge’s face, and suddenly frowned, ”Did you drink?”

The smell of alcohol tickled her nose, causing her heart to tighten.

Jorge immediately returned to the car, fetched the ointment, and came back to Lydia, ”For you, I don’t mean anything else, just wanted to give you the ointment. What if your face swells, how would you appear on camera? Applying some ointment will help it heal faster.”

Lydia lowered her gaze, not speaking, nor did she accept the ointment.

Jorge took her wrist, placing the ointment into her palm, softly said: ”I’m leaving, Lydia, remember to apply the ointment—also, if there’s anything, contact me, my phone is on 24/7 just waiting for you.”

Jorge gave Lydia a deep look, intending to leave.

Lydia suddenly looked up at Jorge, ”Come up!”

”Um, I’m leaving right away, I won’t disturb you.” Jorge’s heart tightened suddenly, feeling extremely uncomfortable.

Seems she really doesn’t want to see him, finds him annoying.

Jorge pursed his lips, turned around.

Lydia clutched the ointment, a surge of emotions in her heart, her gaze turned cold, and she threw the ointment at Jorge, coldly saying, ”You’re such a pig!”

Incurably stupid!

Jorge got hit by the ointment, immediately snapped back to awareness, watched Lydia turn and walk away angrily, his eyes lit up as he recalled her words ’come up.’

She wasn’t asking him to get in the car, but to go upstairs?!

Jorge felt like the ointment hitting him was a stroke of luck, quickly picked up the ointment from the ground and chased after the angry Lydia...
