Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 811: Chapter 811: Howard Saxton Is in Trouble...

Jorge Saxton caught up with Lydia Brooke, whose face remained indifferent as water, and the two went upstairs.

Lydia poured a glass of water for Jorge, ”I called you up here because you drank, and I don’t want you to drink and drive. Consider it repayment for your sister saving me.”

Jorge’s eyes deepened, ”I understand. Lydia, don’t attend those kinds of gatherings anymore. Not every time will be so lucky.”

Lydia smiled lightly with a hint of sarcasm, ”When you’re at a dead end, what other choices do you have?”

”You’re not at a dead end, I’m behind you. You just need to give me a call, and I’ll help you solve everything.” Jorge said as he drank, his voice somewhat low.

Lydia looked at Jorge, ”You really have a short memory. On my most desperate day, that day, you probably forgot, thanks to you.”

Jorge pressed his lips, ”I’m sorry.”

”There’s nothing to be sorry about. Who wasn’t naive and foolish when they were young? I’m doing well now, and I actually appreciate your kindness for not marrying me back then.”

”Lydia, it wasn’t like that. That day I had something else to do, so I couldn’t make it.” Jorge’s voice was a bit hoarse.

Lydia laughed indifferently, ”Hmm, I understand. My weight in your heart is just that. I’ve long recognized it. Let’s not talk about it anymore, congratulations on finding your sister.”

”Yes, I’ve searched for so many years and finally found my sister.”

”I’m going to take a shower. Suit yourself, you can sleep in the guest room or on the sofa.”

Lydia got up and went to take a shower.

Jorge finished the water in his glass, his eyes shimmering with a cold light, and dialed Camden’s number.

”Find someone to cripple Howard Saxton, but don’t kill him, just disable him! Wrap things up with the Saxton Family swiftly!”

--------

The next day.

Arlo Seys received a call from his assistant Callan Walkers while he was having breakfast.

After hanging up, Arlo’s face turned somewhat grim.

”Arlo, what’s wrong?” Ariel Morris asked from beside him.

Arlo served Ariel a bowl of porridge, ”Howard Saxton had an accident.”

”How could it be? What happened?” Ariel asked in surprise, suddenly a bit unsure ”Was it my brother’s doing?”

Arlo pressed his lips, ”Other than your brother, no one else would think of doing something to Howard Saxton, and no one else would have the guts to do it without hesitation.”

”What exactly happened to Howard Saxton?” Ariel furrowed her brows tightly, looking at Arlo.

”Howard Saxton had both legs disabled. He’s currently being resuscitated at Central Hospital! I’ll call the director later to ask about Howard’s condition, but according to Callan, the crime scene looked quite brutal, and those legs probably can’t be saved.”

”Why would my brother suddenly go after Howard Saxton? The Saxton Clan issues haven’t been resolved yet, why target Howard first?”

Arlo thought for a moment, ”I do recall some things. Howard has been troubling a celebrity lately, a rising star Lydia Brooke. If I’m not mistaken, Howard likely provoked Lydia and got on your brother’s nerve.”

”How do you know my brother likes Lydia Brooke?” Ariel chuckled lightly.

”Era’s recent investment in the drama ’Fallen City,’ its leading actress is Lydia Brooke. It’s your brother who asked me to speak to the director about casting her.” Arlo said with a faint smile.

Ariel raised her eyebrows, ”Darling, are you really that generous? I can’t believe it. Did you take the opportunity to trick my brother?”

Arlo smiled faintly, ”I just seized the chance to make a little profit from the bride price.”

”How did you earn it?” Ariel asked curiously.

Arlo handed Ariel the not-too-hot porridge, and with a gentle smile, said, ”The male lead in this drama is Langdon Seal, and his salary is completely covered by Halo Media Group, your brother’s company.”
