Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 805: Chapter 805: Fallen City Invitation

”Lydia, don’t be upset. It’s good he’s gone, so you don’t get hurt.” Ana gently patted Lydia’s back, consoling her.

”What do you mean?” Lydia looked at her manager.

What did she mean by getting hurt? Ana seemed to be implying something.

”Do you know who I saw him with on my way back yesterday?” Ana took out her phone, opened the album, and handed it to Lydia.

Lydia stared at the photo; it was the actress Alina Johnson, cuddled in Zachary Houston’s arms.

”I found out they’ve been hooking up since last week. Zachary Houston seduced her to get the resources she had. Recently, Alina Johnson took a high-budget TV drama ’Concubine Orchid’s Story’, where the lead male role hasn’t been decided yet. Zachary wants Alina to help him get this role!”

In the entertainment industry, there’s no such thing as a secret. Naturally, the rumors of Zachary Houston wanting the lead role spread out.

Not only Zachary; all the popular young actors want this role!

Lydia pressed her lips together, silent, her expression calm.

Ana glanced at her and continued, ”Before this, he kept improper relations with female producers, assistant directors, socialites, and wealthy women. So, Lydia, don’t think it’s your problem; Zachary Houston is a bastard!”

Lydia responded with a low, melancholic voice.

It turns out fame really has such an allure, making people forget their original intentions. Zachary Houston was quite good, but in the end, no one expected him to choose such a shortcut for success and fame.

Lydia sighed inwardly.

She never had feelings for Zachary, but she always regarded him as a friend. His choices made her unable to help but sigh.

Similarly, Lydia’s mind suddenly conjured the image of another man’s elegantly refined face, full of ambition and dazzling brilliance!

Jorge Saxton—

She remembered how, back in Italy, when Jorge Saxton hadn’t yet founded Summit International, how he was bullied, and how wealthy heiresses and moneyed women offered him conditions to become their man. Yet, the proud Jorge Saxton always responded with a sarcastic cold smile, saying, ”You need men, but I don’t lack ’daily’ goods! Even a streetwalker is better than you! Acting like a whore and dreaming of being a saint! Sleeping with me, do you even qualify?”

Thinking of his rebellious face, with eyes piercing like blades and his tone biting with sarcasm, Lydia couldn’t help but smile.

Jorge Saxton, everyone said he was extremely elegant and a gentleman. But those close to him knew how devilishly cunning and sharp-tongued he truly was.

And once—she was the closest to him, unmatched!

Close enough to accompany him since childhood, for over twenty years—

While Lydia was lost in thought, Ana’s phone suddenly rang.

Ana answered, not knowing what was said on the other end, but Ana’s face couldn’t hide the excitement as she eagerly replied, ”Alright, alright, Lydia will definitely be there on time for the audition tomorrow morning. Thank you, Director, for giving this opportunity.”

Ana hung up the phone and happily told Lydia, whose eyes held questions, ”Lydia, your luck has truly changed! Do you know, the director of ’Fallen City’ called inviting you to audition for the lead female role! ’Fallen City’! Every TV drama directed by Eric Cox is a hit!”

Lydia was also stunned by this sudden good news.

Director Eric Cox’s reputation in the industry was legendary; to date, every lead actor or actress, as well as supporting roles in his shows, has become famous!
