Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 835: Chapter 835: Steven Cooper Only Gets a Turn When I’m Done Playing

”Brother Cooper, I’m truly sorry,” Nicole’s voice was low, tinged with a hint of guilt.

”It’s fine. I’ll hang up now, don’t let me delay your mission. Be careful and don’t get hurt.”

”Alright.”

Nicole gestured for Jose Floyd to hang up, because whenever Steven Cooper called her, he would always wait for her to hang up first, displaying great gentlemanly conduct.

Jose Floyd’s eyes glanced coolly at Nicole, moving closer to her face, slowly inching towards her, his thin lips pressed against her ear.

Warm breath scattered by her ear, tingling her slightly. Nicole’s body became stiff, her cheeks tinted faintly red.

Leaning against Nicole’s ear, Jose Floyd spoke in a low, hoarse voice, ”What do you think Steven would do if he knew you were in a car with another man like this, letting me take advantage?”

Nicole responded to Jose Floyd with cold eyes filled with hatred.

In those eyes, it was as if they coldly mocked, ”Jose Floyd, you’re just shameless, you can’t stand me being happy!”

Jose Floyd’s thin lips stayed by Nicole’s ear, his voice icy, exuding fierceness, ”I just can’t stand seeing you happy!”

Nicole took a deep breath, her voice striving to maintain calm, and softly spoke to the person on the other end of the phone, ”Brother Cooper, you hang up first.”

If Jose Floyd didn’t hang up, she couldn’t snatch the phone even if she tried, and would incur his twisted retaliation! So she could only let Steven on the other end hang up first.

Steven Cooper chuckled gently, his warm voice coming through, ”Alright, Nicole, see you. I’ll arrange another meeting soon. Nicole, you must give me the honor and join me for a meal with colleagues, I’ll introduce you to everyone.”

”...Okay,” Nicole’s voice was somewhat subdued.

Hearing her reply, Steven hung up the phone.

Nicole looked at Jose Floyd, ”Are you satisfied now, Jose Floyd?”

Jose Floyd’s arm trapped Nicole on the seat, a cold gleam in his eyes, ”So, you just want to get into Steven’s bed that badly?”

Nicole’s heart stalled momentarily, but her face displayed a gentle smile, her eyes shining brightly, ”Young Master Floyd, you’re overreaching. Steven and I are about to be engaged, so getting in bed is perfectly normal, none of your business, no need to worry!”

Jose Floyd returned to his seat, his face extremely grim, playing with the handgun, a cold, thin smile on his lips, ”Nicole, without my permission, you won’t be getting engaged!”

Until he let go, no one else dared to take what was his!

”What do you mean?” Nicole turned her head to look at Jose Floyd, her gaze chilly.

”I mean, without my nod, you can’t get engaged! If you insist on getting engaged to Steven, I assure you, you’ll regret it!”

”Jose Floyd! We ended ages ago! Don’t you remember what happened at the hospital? Aren’t you tired of slapping yourself in the face?! Where’s that promise to cleanly break off?!”

Isn’t your face hurting?!

”Our emotional ties ended, but our grievances have not! Nicole, my kindness and indulgence towards you have made you increasingly unruly, even forgetting my previous teachings to you! Want engagement? Fine, we’ll talk when I’m done playing! You’ll only get a chance with Steven when I’m bored!”

”You’re truly shameless!”

”Is this shameless? Seems you haven’t seen true shamelessness yet!” Jose Floyd sneered, ”If you insist on getting engaged, I guarantee your engagement ceremony will be more sensational than anyone else’s! Sure to cause a stir throughout City C!”

”You’re threatening me?! Jose Floyd!”

”Is it a threat? You know it well, you’re more aware than anyone of my strength! Nicole, should we play a game? See if you can actually succeed in getting engaged?! But kindly remind you, if you dare to get engaged, the price you pay might be quite high.”
