Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 809: Chapter 809: I Won’t Kill You, I’ll Play You to Death!

”Howard, I won’t kill you, but I’ll play you to death!”

Jorge’s voice was icy, his expression indifferent and terrifying, as if he were King Yama from hell.

After speaking, Jorge turned back to Lydia’s side, supporting the panting Lydia, his gaze shooting towards Howard, ”If you dare to harass her again, I’ll send you on your way right now!”

Jorge bent down to pick up Lydia.

Lydia looked at Jorge’s indifferent face, her eyes flickered, ”I can walk on my own.”

Jorge’s cold demeanor didn’t change, ”I’ve been holding you for so many years, why act coy now!”

”...”

Jorge, don’t you care about appearances? How can you say that so brazenly, your skin must be as thick as a city wall?!

Lydia was speechless.

Jorge placed Lydia in the passenger seat, not even glancing at Howard, and got into the car.

The car sped away.

Howard’s eyes erupted with a cold light.

Jorge, your woman, I am determined to ruin her!

Inside the car.

Jorge was driving, speaking in a mild tone, ”Shall we go to Clearflower Estate?”

”No!” Lydia refused outright, ”I’m going home.”

”Address.”

”...Just let me out, I’ll take a cab back myself.”

She didn’t want Jorge to know where she lived.

Jorge glanced at Lydia, his voice low, ”I can have Camden find out in half an hour, for now, I might as well take you for a tour around City C.”

”...Northwood Road, Azure Mansion, Block Three!” Lydia gritted her teeth.

Jorge responded with a simple ”Mm,” driving towards Northwood Road.

Upon reaching Azure Mansion, Lydia got out of the car, and Jorge did too.

”Thank you for today, I’m going home now, take care.” Lydia’s voice was calm, her demeanor even more composed.

Jorge looked at Lydia’s swollen face, his gaze deepened, ”I’m thirsty, do you have water at home?”

Lydia pursed her lips, her slender fingers pointing forward, ”Drive out, turn left ten meters, and there’s a convenience store in the residential area of the apartment complex; they have imported mineral water, all kinds of drinks.” As she spoke, Lydia took out a hundred-dollar bill and placed it on the passenger seat, ”Consider it my treat, thanks for saving me today! There’s no tea at home, it’s not convenient to invite you in, suit yourself.”

Lydia turned and left.

”Lydia.”

His voice came from behind, making Lydia halt.

Every time he called her name, she always felt like it was an illusion, always felt that such tenderness and warmth made her heart race uncontrollably.

”What is it?” Lydia tried to maintain an even tone, though her heart stirred with emotions it shouldn’t have.

”I’m sorry.”

Jorge’s voice was very low, and Lydia heard it, biting her lip.

Sorry—for not keeping the appointment at the chapel? Sorry for breaking his promise?

Jorge—do you know that the three words ”I’m sorry” are the most detested by me in this lifetime?

Do you know how deep the wounds are that your so-called apology caused me?!

Lydia laughed coldly, ”I detest those three words the most! Goodbye, don’t follow! We shall never meet again!”

His one apology back then left her in a wedding dress, holding a bouquet of flowers, crying alone in the chapel for an entire day.

She hoped he would appear, but with just an apology, she foolishly cried and waited all day, he neither appeared nor sent any message—

The next day, just like that, she packed her things, escaped from that heartbreaking city in Italy, came to City C, and entered the entertainment industry.

”Lydia!” Jorge stepped forward, grabbing Lydia’s wrist, ”The entertainment industry isn’t suitable for you, it’s too murky; if you want to work, go to Summit International, I’ll arrange it for you.”

”I have no interest in your Summit! Let go!”

Jorge’s throat moved slightly, looking at Lydia’s aloofness brought a pang to his heart, his voice subdued, ”Then come to Halo Media.”
