Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 807: Chapter 807: Jorge Saxton Is a Hundred Times Stronger Than You!

”What does that matter? Is it related to Lydia Brooke?”

The assistant director didn’t catch on immediately.

Screenwriter Walters was surprised, ”So, did Era’s additional investment actually involve Lydia Brooke? No, it’s the Summit International president behind this...?”

The assistant director suddenly understood, ”No wonder the male lead for this show was set as Langdon Seal, the award-winning actor. I was curious why Era would spend so much money on a show using Halo Media Group’s artist instead of their own. It seems her brother-in-law is backing Lydia Brooke!”

”Good to know. The industry is extremely complicated. Let’s just focus on making this show great and pretend we don’t know anything else! Don’t spread rumors! With Era and Summit backing us, this show is sure to break viewership records! We will go head-to-head with ’Concubine Orchid’s Story’!” the director said seriously.

”Exactly! Clashing schedules aren’t scary; whoever loses faces embarrassment! They have the best actress, we have the best actor! Plus, with Era and Summit behind us, we’ll crush ’Concubine Orchid’s Story’!”

”’Fallen City’ is going to take over the ratings like a storm!”

-----

Lydia Brooke received the news about Langdon Seal being chosen as the male lead for ’Fallen City’ two days later, and she felt a mix of emotions.

Lydia Brooke signed an endorsement contract, smiling as she extended her hand to the other party, ”Thank you, Dace, for selecting me as your brand representative. Looking forward to working together.”

”Looking forward to it, Miss Brooke,” the Dace advertising representative replied, shaking her hand.

Lydia Brooke greeted them with a smile and left first.

Exiting the teahouse, the sky outside had already turned dark.

Ana said goodbye to Lydia Brooke before leaving. Lydia Brooke stood by the roadside wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses, trying to hail a cab.

Suddenly, a blue sports car stopped in front of Lydia Brooke. She looked inside the car with curious eyes.

The window lowered slowly, and Howard Saxton’s face, which she detested, came into view.

Howard Saxton stepped out with a smirk, ”So, Lydia, have you thought it over? Will you be my woman, or should I deal with you? You should’ve had enough time these days to figure it out, right?”

Lydia Brooke gave a cold glance at Howard Saxton, who had been pestering her since meeting her at President Seys’ charity banquet, her tone indifferent, ”Young Master Saxton, I don’t have time to play along with your sugar-daddy games. I know recently it’s been you making things difficult for me behind the scenes, Young Master Saxton. I hope we can stay out of each other’s business. You can be your Saxton Family prince, and I’ll do my thing. Don’t overreach yourself! Remember, there’s always someone better. This is City C, not your City T.”

Howard Saxton approached, reaching out his slender fingers toward Lydia Brooke’s cold face, sneering, ”I never fail to get what I want! Tsk tsk, Lydia, you really have some skills! If you can hook up with Jorge Saxton, surely I, the heir of the Saxton Family, would be your preferred choice over him?”

He was making things difficult for Lydia Brooke, setting traps behind the scenes, all just to make her bow her head. He didn’t expect Jorge Saxton to step in halfway and solve everything for Lydia Brooke!

Lydia Brooke recalled the stories circulating about the Saxton Family’s legitimate son and daughter versus illegitimate offspring, her eyes shifting slightly, and she looked at Howard Saxton with even colder eyes.

”Young Master Saxton, let’s be honest: in a traditional society, wouldn’t most of the family inheritance go to the eldest son? Wouldn’t the legitimate son be the real heir? Young Master Saxton, instead of flirting, you should learn more, think about being a better person! Using terms like ’thing’ to refer to your elder brother shows your upbringing and character, which is laughable! Young Master Saxton, are you really oblivious?”

Howard Saxton’s face darkened quickly, glaring at Lydia Brooke’s cold, proud face, ”You’re speaking up for Jorge Saxton?!”

Lydia Brooke laughed comfortably, ”Jorge Saxton is a hundred times better than you—”

”Disgusting!”

Enraged, Howard Saxton slapped Lydia Brooke hard across the face.

Slap—!

The force from Howard Saxton was heavy, leaving several red fingerprints on Lydia Brooke’s pale face.
