Love Strategy: CEO He is Really Scheming！

Chapter 163: Chapter 163 A Bouquet of Purple ’Forget-me-not’ [2]

The owner of the flower shop saw customers late at night and immediately came forward with a grin: ”What kind of flowers do you need?”

Ariel Morris glanced around the shop, while Arlo Seys walked to her side and softly spoke: ”I almost forgot, I’ve never given you flowers before. Today is Christmas, what kind of flowers do you like, Ariel?”

Ariel’s gaze fixed on a purple bouquet. She walked over, picked it up, and said with a smile to the owner: ”I want this one.”

Arlo reached out to hold it for her, but Ariel gently evaded, slowly shaking her head in refusal. She looked at him, smiling softly: ”Arlo, this bouquet is for you. I prefer succulents. You can buy a pot and give it to me.”

”For me?” Arlo’s gaze fell on the bouquet Ariel was holding. He paused for a moment and then turned to the shop owner: ”Do you have any succulents?”

”Huh?” The shop owner hesitated for a moment, then nodded quickly, albeit with a slightly unsure voice: ”We do, but I’ve never seen anyone give succulents to a girlfriend for Christmas...”

Ariel pursed her lips, ”I just love succulents!”

”Alright, I’ll go get them.” The owner didn’t hesitate for a moment and immediately handed them a pot of succulents.

With flowers in her arms, Arlo stepped forward to take the succulents from the shop owner, twitching the corner of his mouth, ”These are succulents?” He thought succulents were some kind of flower, but they turned out to be a small potted plant with a chubby-looking plant growing in it.

At this moment, Arlo finally understood the shop owner’s hesitant look earlier. Other people’s girlfriends like roses and such, but his Miss Morris loves succulents!! In a tiny pot, a humorous and verdant-looking plant was growing.

It was just a small pot with one little succulent. Such a thing can be considered a flower to give to your girlfriend? Arlo twitched his lips.

His Miss Morris was indeed unique, with unique taste! Unparalleled!

Arlo went to pay the bill, and Ariel insisted on paying for the purple bouquet herself. Arlo couldn’t persuade her otherwise, so he had to pay for the succulent.

Arlo carried the succulent, Ariel held the purple bouquet, and the two left the flower shop.

On a snowy Christmas night, the streets were already deserted, with only the snow gently falling.

The two walked for a while.

Ariel tugged at Arlo’s hand, bringing him to a stop. Arlo stopped and looked at Ariel.

Ariel held the purple bouquet, her eyes bright, ”Arlo, this bouquet is for you!”

Arlo held the potted plant in one hand and took the bouquet with the other, deeply smiling, ”Thank you, what kind of flowers are these? They’re beautiful, I like them.”

Ariel’s eyes stirred slightly, her voice bright: ”This is the purple ’Forget-me-not’.”

Arlo’s grip on the bouquet tightened, and he smiled faintly, teasingly: ”Does the flower’s meaning translate to—don’t forget me?”

Ariel hesitated for a moment, then looked at Arlo and solemnly nodded, her voice becoming somewhat heavy: ”Yes—don’t forget me! I know perhaps I’m too selfish, proposing that you never forget me is too selfish, but can I ask you—can I ask you, Arlo Seys, not to forget this relationship, not to forget me who loves you! Can you keep a corner of your heart to store me?”

Ariel finished speaking, her voice tinged with a trace of tears, suddenly lunging into Arlo’s embrace, holding him tightly, her shoulders trembling slightly.

Her sudden loss of control made Arlo’s heart ache with distress, but with one hand holding the potted plant and the other the bouquet, he was unable to hug her back to comfort her. So he slightly lowered his head, his thin lips gently and tenderly brushing against Ariel’s forehead.
