Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Li Shengru looked at Lu Yu in front of him and said, ”Lu Yu, you’re going too far!”

”Me, going too far?!”

This time, hearing Li Shengru’s words, Lu Yu sneered, opened his mouth, and said, ”Li Shengru, you’re really old and senile. Don’t forget this is the security department of Victory Group, not your Li Family Manor!”

”In the security department, you’re on my turf. Here, you follow my rules. If you don’t listen, we’ll treat it as causing trouble!” At this moment, Lu Yu’s words were immensely domineering: ”Deputy Manager Wu, on my first day on the job, I told you, if anyone causes trouble within Victory Group, how do we handle it?”

”If someone is causing trouble within Victory Group, without asking for the reason or identity, they’ll be dragged in and beaten until they comply!” At this moment, hearing Lu Yu’s words, Wu Song spoke up, his words full of seriousness.

Hearing these words, the smile on Li Shengru’s face completely froze. In his view, what Lu Yu had Wu Song say was nothing short of a threat, and a blatant one at that!

Li Shengru, nearing fifty, could be beaten severely even by a minor security guard, let alone Lu Yu. He’d likely end up sharing a hospital room with his son, Li Shengtao.

Thinking of this, Li Shengru found himself at a loss against Lu Yu in front of him!

”Hold back, hold back, let this kid gloat for a bit. As long as he accepts my invitation, tomorrow night I’ll make him unable to cry even if he wants to!”

At this moment, Li Shengru forcefully suppressed the anger in his heart, gritted his teeth, and slowly exited the security department’s door. He gently knocked on the door and asked, ”Young Master Lu, Deputy Manager Wu, may I enter now?”

With this, before Lu Yu could speak, Wu Song was already euphoric. Wu Song could hardly believe his ears—Li Shengru, the real estate tycoon of LA City, with thousands admiring him, was now asking humbly in front of him. Though this was entirely due to Lu Yu, it was enough for Wu Song to brag about for a year.

”Hmm, come in.”

At this moment, Lu Yu glanced at Wu Song beside him, then looked at Li Shengru and said, his words laden with indifference.

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Li Shengru slowly walked into the security room. He appeared very cautious, fearing that one misstep might displease Lu Yu and earn him a beating!

”What do you want from me?”

At this moment, Lu Yu looked at Li Shengru in front of him and spoke, his words full of indifference, not even bothering to lift his eyelids, his gaze tinged with disdain.

Lu Yu was very familiar with this Li Shengru. Although Li Shengru appeared very refined, he was extremely cunning. Adding to this, Lu Yu had severely beaten Li Shengtao recently, leaving him at death’s door; this sudden appearance of Li Shengtao was undoubtedly up to no good.

Though Lu Yu knew Li Shengru was no benign character, he intended to see what Li Shengru was really up to.

Lu Yu’s way of dealing with things had completely changed over the past five years. Having endured the harsh trials of the law of the jungle, he now only believed in one thing: what’s meant to happen will happen, no escaping it! Since the other side had already made a move on him, this time he aimed to subdue them, make them fear him! Make them never dare to think this way again!

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Li Shengru slowly took out an invitation from his pocket and placed it in front of Lu Yu, saying, ”Tomorrow night, I’ll host a banquet at our Lijiang Hotel to invite Young Master Lu, as an apology for my son Li Shengtao’s previous disrespectful behavior. I sincerely hope Young Master Lu will grace us with your presence!”

Li Shengru’s words were exceedingly humble, matching his obsequious demeanor, resembling that of a grandson!

Seeing this, Lu Yu laughed. He looked at Li Shengru in front of him, a cold laugh coming from within his heart.

Last time, Li Shengru first sent Song Ning, the butler of the Li Family Manor, to invite him. After Song Ning was severely beaten by him, Li Shengru really did as he said that day and came personally to deliver the invitation.

All these actions seemed very suspicious to Lu Yu!

This Li Shengru was desperately trying to get him to attend a banquet at his Lijiang Hotel, undoubtedly hiding some ulterior motive. Otherwise, given Li Shengru’s villainous demeanor, he wouldn’t lower himself so much!

Although Lu Yu knew Li Shengru was up to something, he didn’t plan on refusing.

Because Li Shengru’s willingness to lower himself to invite him showed his determination. Rather than avoiding him, it was better to meet openly and see what Li Shengru’s true intent was!

”Hosting a banquet?”

At this moment, Lu Yu picked up the invitation Li Shengru handed him and smiled, saying, ”Inviting me?”

”That’s right. I sincerely hope Young Master Lu will come.”

At this moment, Li Shengru spoke, his words full of reverence and flattery.

”Sounds good.” At this moment, Lu Yu carefully examined Li Shengru in front of him and spoke indifferently, ”I will definitely be there tomorrow night!”

For some things, since you can’t avoid them, it’s better to confront them openly!

Besides, Li Shengru’s tactics aren’t necessarily a match for his own!

This was Lu Yu’s most genuine thought.

At this moment, hearing Lu Yu agree, a barely perceptible trace of murderous intent flashed briefly in Li Shengru’s eyes—swiftly and stealthily.

”Young Master Lu is really straightforward. In that case, let’s set it for tomorrow night at Lijiang Hotel. I will absolutely treat Young Master Lu with the highest standards. At that time, I will specially have a master chef prepare dishes for Young Master Lu. I promise you won’t be disappointed,” In this moment, Li Shengru’s demeanor was extremely humble.

”Alright, if that’s all you wanted to say, you may leave now,” Lu Yu looked at Li Shengru in front of him and said indifferently, ”I will definitely be there tomorrow night!”

”In that case, I won’t disturb Young Master Lu any longer. Tomorrow night, I await your grand arrival at Lijiang Hotel,” Li Shengru said with a flattering smile, and then directly exited.

As Li Shengru walked out of the security room in an instant, his face full of smiles instantaneously turned solemn. He immediately pulled out his phone and said, ”Director Yuan, the kid agreed. For tomorrow night, I’ve given you all the information. Tomorrow night, I will count on you for everything!”

”Don’t worry, Younger Brother Li, since you’ve entrusted me with this matter, I will definitely help you deal with that kid!” A deep voice came from the phone, echoing eerily in the air.

Hearing this voice, Li Shengru smiled slightly, hung up the call, walked straight out of Victory Group, and drove away.
