Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

After returning to his residence, Lu Yu placed Meng Yue directly on the bed in his bedroom. Then, he rummaged through his luggage from his return, and after some searching, he took out a large handful of dried dark green plants. After scanning the wound on Meng Yue’s neck, he said, ”Judging by the speed at which the venom is spreading in her neck, that steel needle is likely coated with snake venom or something similar. This thing saved me countless times on the deserted island and should be effective!”

On the deserted island where Lu Yu was stranded, there were not only wild beasts everywhere, but also many highly poisonous animals. Initially, Lu Yu frequently got poisoned, and it was thanks to such plants that he was able to survive.

Thinking of this, Lu Yu took out a small sprig of the plant, crushed it, and, mixed with warm water, poured it into Meng Yue’s mouth!

Gulp!

As a bowl of water was poured into Meng Yue’s mouth, a moment later, black blood began to slowly ooze out from the bluish-black hole in her neck. However, because the needle hole was extremely small, the amount of venom that flowed out was limited, and the speed was very slow.

”It really seems to be effective. The needle is indeed tainted with snake venom!”

Watching the venom seeping from the needle hole in Meng Yue’s neck, Lu Yu thought to himself, ”But at this rate, if the venom is expelled too slowly and continues to spread in the bloodstream, that would be troublesome...”

Thinking this, Lu Yu immediately put his mouth over the wound on Meng Yue’s neck and began sucking out the venom.

Although he was saving someone, it had to be said that Meng Yue’s skin was exceptionally well-maintained. Despite her habit of staying up late, it remained very firm and elastic. Lu Yu could feel its astonishing smoothness even while extracting the venom.

After sucking five or six times, Lu Yu finally extracted all the venom from Meng Yue’s wound, finally feeling relieved. The wound on her neck had returned to its original color, proving the venom had been fully expelled. Coupled with the detoxifying plant he had previously given her, Meng Yue’s safety was now assured.

Seeing Meng Yue’s face return to normal, Lu Yu felt a slight stir in his heart, and then he relaxed a lot. At the same time, another question emerged in his mind.

Who wanted to kill Meng Yue?

Lu Yu knew Meng Yue’s situation very well. Although she was the captain of LA City Police Department’s detective team, it’s a society ruled by law and socially stable. Though there were some criminals, they were minor nuisances, and few would bear such deep grudges.

”Could it be that she offended someone recently or arrested that criminal, and someone sought revenge on her...”

Lu Yu looked at the now peacefully breathing Meng Yue and spoke softly, then suddenly froze as a glint of coldness flashed in his eyes: ”Could it be Qi Wei?”

Due to living opposite her, Lu Yu was well aware of Meng Yue’s situation. Recently, apart from capturing Qi Wei, there hadn’t been any major cases.

Qi Wei, who carried five lives on his back and was a heinous drug dealer, being caught could indeed lead to someone seeking revenge on Meng Yue - it was reasonable to think so.

Thinking of this, a sharp glint of coldness flashed in Lu Yu’s eyes: ”As for the specific details, I need to ask him personally...”

After saying this, Lu Yu shook his head, then walked into the kitchen to start preparing the Awakening Soup for Meng Yue, to help her detox completely and recover quickly.

...

In the late night, early hours, within the holding cell of the LA City Police Department.

Qi Wei was lying on the bed wearing a blue outfit, sleeping soundly. Unlike other prisoners who were anxious, as if the arrest was just a trifling matter to him.

Bam!

At this moment, as Qi Wei slept soundly, a dull bang suddenly sounded, and the door of his cell was abruptly opened, the noise instantly waking Qi Wei from his sleep.

”Having a good sleep, huh?”

Before Qi Wei could turn around, a cold voice sounded directly from behind him. Though the voice wasn’t loud, it felt like a solid block of ice, sending a rush of cold through Qi Wei’s body.

”Who is it?!”

Feeling the chill, Qi Wei panicked instantly. He spun around sharply and saw Lu Yu standing behind him, glaring intently at him!

”It’s you?!”

Seeing Lu Yu, terror flared in Qi Wei’s eyes. He vividly remembered it was this very man who knocked him out with a single punch, leading to his current predicament!

”It’s me!”

Lu Yu took step by step towards Qi Wei, the footsteps echoing distinctly in the night!

Now, every step Lu Yu took seemed stomping on Qi Wei’s heart, causing an invisible pressure that made his breath hasten by several degrees.

”Police...”

Qi Wei attempted to shout loudly, but before he could utter a sound, his voice was abruptly cut off!

Lu Yu moved like the wind, his large hand suddenly clamping over Qi Wei’s face, slamming his burly body fiercely against the wall, coldly said: ”If you dare to scream again, I’ll kill you right here, do you believe it!?”

This phrase, spoken with intent, was full of murderous intent. Staring at Qi Wei, he said coldly, saturated with lethal intent!

Qi Wei’s eyes flared with panic at Lu Yu’s words; he was completely overwhelmed by Lu Yu’s presence, nodding his head continually, indicating compliance.

Anyone who could knock him out with a single punch, someone who could walk into a guarded area as if it were no man’s land, meant what he said about killing him as easily as crushing an ant!

”Good.”

Seeing Qi Wei comply, Lu Yu nodded, then said, ”Good, now I’m going to ask you a question, and you better answer truthfully. If you dare lie, I swear I’ll make you wish you were dead!”

Lu Yu’s eyes were filled with fury. Meng Yue had been poisoned with a needle in broad daylight, enraging Lu Yu. If Qi Wei didn’t cooperate, Lu Yu was more than willing to administer justice on the spot!

Qi Wei’s heart went cold at Lu Yu’s words, nodding desperately to indicate agreement.

”Good.”

Seeing Qi Wei’s reaction, Lu Yu nodded, a grim smile playing on his lips: ”I’m asking you, among the people you know, is there anyone proficient in using poison, and who you’ve maintained a good relationship with?”
