Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

After dinner, Lu Yu chatted with Xia Bing on the beach outside Peace Restaurant for the entire afternoon. It was only the deep hours of night that he slowly drove her back to her residence.

Just now, Lu Yu parked the car downstairs from Xia Bing’s place, and with a slight smile, watched Xia Bing and said, ”Alright, it’s getting late now. You should head up and get some sleep early, or else if you’re late tomorrow, Leng Qingqiu the robot will definitely deduct your salary again.”

Heh heh heh

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Xia Bing let out a silvery bell-like laugh, then looked at Lu Yu before her and said, ”Aren’t you coming up to sit for a while?”

Upon saying this, Xia Bing’s sparkling eyes were full of mirth.

”Better not, it’s really getting late now. You should head up and rest early. Next time, I’ll treat you to a meal,” Lu Yu replied with a gentle smile, looking at Xia Bing.

It was nearly midnight now, and though it was tempting to accept a beauty’s invitation, Lu Yu knew the timing was inconvenient. Xia Bing’s job wasn’t like his, where sitting in an office watching movies could be followed by clocking out promptly.

Xia Bing’s role involved assisting Leng Qingqiu in making informed decisions about the operation of Victory Group, so Lu Yu decided not to disturb her too late for rest.

”Okay, since that’s the case, you should head home early too. I’m going up now.”

Xia Bing softly spoke as she looked at Lu Yu, then slowly opened the car door and headed upstairs.

Seeing this, Lu Yu smiled slightly. Shortly afterward, his cellphone emitted a gentle beep; on the screen was a message from Xia Bing: ”I’ve arrived home safely. You should head back earlier too, and take care on the road.”

Seeing this, Lu Yu smiled again. Xia Bing, this little chick, really was a very good girl.

With this thought, Lu Yu shook his head with a smile, then replied to her message. He pressed the accelerator and roared off into the night.

...

”Long night, no heart to sleep.”

Leaving Xia Bing’s apartment, Lu Yu drove his Bentley Mulsanne leisurely through the streets of LA City. As he watched the city slowly quieting down, his mind constantly reminisced over past scenes.

Lu Yu wasn’t someone overly sentimental, but today, during his conversation with Xia Bing, he found himself stirred by memories from his own past.

Five years of disappearance and the ruthless jungle law had transformed the once arrogant scion of a Noble Family into the most formidable man, awakening his curiosity about everything that had happened to the Lu Family five years ago.

Lu Yu returned this time to uncover what truly transpired with the Lu Family back then. However, till now, the matter remained stuck in its most difficult early stage, with no trace of the sniper. He still could only scout the underground shooting range through Yunting to find the sniper’s trail.

For a sniper, the feeling of aiming is absolutely crucial, requiring long-term practice to maintain. Hence, finding the sniper necessitated a start from the underground shooting range.

”No matter who you are, once I know your identities, you will pay with blood.”

Lu Yu stated coldly, then pressed the accelerator heading to a nearby small bar.

Ten minutes later, Lu Yu slowly parked his car outside a bar called ’Night Flame,’ locked it, and stepped inside.

Five years ago, whenever Lu Yu wanted solitude, he would frequently indulge in some alcohol and solace at small bars, not for anything particular more than the act itself.

At this moment, the bar was particularly lively. Amidst explosive music, some men and women crazily twisted their bodies, venting either life’s dissatisfaction or romantic obstacles. Each person wore a crazed look that paired perfectly with the noisy music, creating an intense vibe.

Upon witnessing this, Lu Yu couldn’t help but smile, then he approached the bar, said to the bartender, ”A Sunset Tequila.”

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, the bartender acknowledged with a nod, quickly placing an orange-red drink in front of Lu Yu. Sipping his drink, Lu Yu watched the swaying figures in the dance floor behind, feeling especially at ease.

In the dance floor, various scents of alcohol and some perfumes merged into an enchanting atmosphere, gradually pervading the bar, easing the initially heavy mood Lu Yu carried.

”Zhang Jiahao! Let go of me!”

Just as Lu Yu was quietly watching all of this unfold, suddenly a woman’s voice came from nearby.

Hearing the voice, Lu Yu slowly turned his head, seeing a woman in a white suit standing by the restroom door nearby, before her a man in a tailored suit fiercely clutching her hand.

Usually witnessing scenes like this, Lu Yu often chose not to intervene, but what happened next made him reluctant to stand by anymore.

”Let go? Why should I let go?”

The man in a tailored suit sneered coldly at the woman before him, ”Damn it, I’ve pursued you for so long, and yet you’ve dared to keep refusing me? Don’t you know who Zhang Jiahao is?! Today, I’m going to try you out right here!”

Saying this, the man grabbed the woman, trying to pull her into the restroom. Witnessing this scene, even a fool could see what the youth planned to do next.

”Can’t believe how hard it is to simply find peace.”

Seeing the scene before him, Lu Yu shook his head gently, then downed his Sunset Tequila in one gulp. Standing up suddenly, he flung the glass from his hand towards the man’s head!

Whoosh!

The glass left his hand accompanied by a sharp gust, landing squarely on the youth’s head!

Splat!

A crisp sound echoed as the glass shattered upon impact, the immense force causing the man to release the woman and fall flat on the ground!

”I say, bullying this girl as a big man, where is your shame?”

Hurling the glass, Lu Yu placed a hundred-dollar bill on the bar, then slowly strode towards the youth ahead.
