Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Meanwhile, in the private ward of the LA City People’s Hospital, Li Shengtao lay on the bed, his face covered with bandages, staring lifelessly at the ceiling. No matter who called out to him, he did not respond.

After being brutally beaten by Lu Yu yesterday, his spine was slightly dislocated, his abdominal cavity had extensive bruising, and several internal organs were contused. The injuries were horrific. Had he not been brought to the hospital in time, they could have been even more severe!

Especially his face, which was disfigured beyond recognition by shards of broken glass.

Although medical attention had saved Li Shengtao’s life, the doctors were powerless when it came to his appearance. While the wounds on his face were treated, it was impossible to avoid scarring!

The once handsome Eldest Young Master Li was now covered in menacing scars. How could this former number one young master of LA City face the world now? Beside cosmetic surgery, there was no other option to restore his appearance!

Thinking about last night’s events, rage surged within Li Shengtao. His chest heaved, followed by a wrenching pain, making him unable to control it any longer. He vomited a mouthful of blood onto the bed, the crimson stark against the white sheets.

Lu Yu’s powerful kicks to his chest and abdomen had inflicted severe injuries there, bruising the inside and seriously damaging his chest cavity!

Vomiting blood, Li Shengtao sat up abruptly, but his waist moved, bringing a sudden intense pain from his back. When he touched it, it felt wet, and upon looking at his hand, it was covered with blood!

What was happening? Why was there a wound on his back too!?

Staring at the blood on his hand, Li Shengtao was bewildered. He struggled to grab the medical record by his side, glanced at it, and almost fainted!

The medical record clearly stated: mild spinal dislocation, extensive abdominal bruising, cracked sternum, necrosis of the left kidney…

Necrosis of the left kidney!?

Confronted with this record, Li Shengtao felt darkness encroaching on his vision, and recalled that palm strike from Lu Yu!

What seemed an ordinary strike had rendered his kidney necrotic!

Li Shengtao had suffered a devastating blow! Originally, he planned to use Yunting’s skills to eliminate Lu Yu, but had not expected to be severely injured himself!

Human bodies only have two kidneys; after removing one, the other can still function independently. Indeed, Lu Yu had shown mercy since this incident was unrelated to the Lu Family. Had he followed his initial plan, Li Shengtao would already be lying in the hospital morgue!

Thinking of this, Li Shengtao clenched his fists powerlessly as his body was too weak to even complete a simple action!

At this moment, the ward door suddenly opened as a nurse and a middle-aged man in a suit walked in.

Seeing Li Shengtao’s condition, the nurse rushed to help him lie down and began cleaning his bloodstains.

The middle-aged man’s elegant face clouded over as he took in the sight of Li Shengtao.

This middle-aged man was none other than Li Shengtao’s father, Li Shengru, the real estate tycoon of LA City!

”Dad, you must avenge me!” Seeing Li Shengru, Li Shengtao pleaded, ”I’ve seen the medical records. My kidney is necrotic. Dad, you must avenge me!”

”Necrotic kidney? You seem quite spirited to me!” Li Shengru replied coldly, his expression somber.

”Dad, what are you saying?”

Stunned by his father’s words, Li Shengtao couldn’t believe his ears and said, ”Dad, am I not your son? You don’t even care about my serious injuries; what do you mean…”

Li Shengtao lay weakly on the bed, speaking to Li Shengru with anger in his voice.

”Enough!”

Interrupting Li Shengtao’s words, Li Shengru roared softly, ”What do I mean? You’ve been associating with Yunting of the Celestial Wolf Association, lied about needing thirty million for investments, and ended up hiring Yunting to deal with Lu Yu, leading to this mess. Who’s to blame?”

”I told you to focus on running the business, but you didn’t listen and insisted on living frivolously! If you’d paid attention to managing the company, how would this have happened!”

Looking at Li Shengtao, Li Shengru continued.

”Dad, I admit I was wrong, but just because of this, you’re letting Lu Yu off? I nearly died this time. If I had died, how would you explain to my deceased mother!” Li Shengtao weakly argued, mentioning his mother.

Li Shengru had been indulgent with Li Shengtao since his early loss of his mother, contributing to Li Shengtao’s wayward behavior.

When Li Shengtao brought up his mother, Li Shengru fell silent, contemplating. After a moment, a cold glint flickered in his eyes, and he said, ”One matter at a time. I’ll certainly handle Lu Yu of the Lu Family; I won’t let my son suffer in vain.”

”But you must promise to focus on business in the future and stay away from those riffraff!”

”No problem!”

The promise ignited a chilling glint in Li Shengtao’s eyes. ”As long as you make Lu Yu pay, I’ll agree to anything!”

”Good! In that case, I’ll help you sort out this mess!” Li Shengru nodded, agreeing.

To make his way to become a real estate tycoon in LA City, Li Shengru had used numerous underhanded methods, not just legal means, to remain untoppled in the industry.

With this in mind, Li Shengru took out his phone, dialed a number, and said, ”Find out Lu Yu’s workplace, and also give me Yunting’s contact information!”
