Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Guo Jiarui’s originally genteel face was full of fear. At this moment, his voice trembled as he looked at Lu Yu and said, ”B-brother, could you make things a bit clearer? I really don’t understand what you’re saying!”

As soon as Guo Jiarui finished speaking, Lu Yu smiled slightly and then said, ”Then let me make it clearer. I want you to pay to buy your own life!”

Pay to buy his own life!

Hearing Lu Yu’s words made Guo Jiarui’s heart suddenly tremble. Being asked to pay for his own life implied that if the amount was unreasonable, his life would no longer belong to him!

Thinking of this, Guo Jiarui’s body began to twist continuously. At this juncture, he looked at Lu Yu in front of him and said in a panic, ”Don’t act recklessly. This—this is a society governed by law. If you act recklessly, I—I will call the police!”

Due to fear, Guo Jiarui kept moving back, his eyes filled with terror, his speech becoming more and more incoherent, with panic all over it.

Upon hearing Guo Jiarui’s words, Lu Yu sneered disdainfully and said, ”Eldest Young Master Guo, do you think that since I dare to sit here and talk to you about this, I would be afraid of you calling the police?”

”Moreover, even if you call the police, it seems it would take some time for them to arrive, right? To be honest, I can end your life in just the blink of an eye!”

As Lu Yu spoke, he kept fiddling with the fruit knife in his hand, a smile on his face, yet within that smile, there was a trace of coldness!

The night was getting deeper, the room was pitch-black. The fruit knife in Lu Yu’s hand glimmered with chilling light thanks to the light from outside, sending a shiver down one’s spine at a glance.

Especially since Guo Jiarui had been scared, causing bursts of chills. At this moment, seeing the chilling glimmer on Lu Yu’s fruit knife, it sent an intense shiver through his entire body.

”I—I will pay!” At this moment, Guo Jiarui said apprehensively, his expression full of fear as he looked at Lu Yu, ”N-name your price.”

Hearing Guo Jiarui’s words, Lu Yu nodded with a smile, then said, ”Eldest Young Master Guo really is a straightforward person. Let’s do it this way. I don’t like ripping people off or having exorbitant demands. You offer this figure, if you can afford it, this matter will be written off, if not, then I’m sorry!”

As Lu Yu spoke, he extended a palm towards Guo Jiarui and said coldly.

Seeing Lu Yu’s hand, Guo Jiarui froze momentarily, swallowed a mouthful of saliva, and hesitantly said, ”Five million?”

”Eldest Young Master Guo!”

As Guo Jiarui uttered this sentence, Lu Yu’s voice rose a few degrees, and he said while looking at Guo Jiarui, ”Do you think I wouldn’t dare to lay a finger on you?!”

His words startled Guo Jiarui, making him shudder instantly.

”With your status as Eldest Young Master Guo, do you think five million is worth your life? Or do you think your life is only worth five million?” Lu Yu looked at Guo Jiarui and said with a chilling tone.

As soon as these words were spoken, Guo Jiarui shuddered instantly, swallowed hard, and said, ”Could it be fifty million?”

”That’s right!”

Lu Yu said lightly, with a smile on his face, ”Fifty million it is!”

On hearing this, Guo Jiarui was stunned. Although Guo Group’s assets were substantial, it was excruciatingly painful for him to shell out fifty million in one go.

”No, no, this is daylight robbery!”

Guo Jiarui protested, feeling extremely unwilling. Those were all assets belonging to the Guo Group, and just giving away fifty million for nothing was quicker than robbing a bank!

Slap!

Hearing Guo Jiarui’s words, Lu Yu stood up, suddenly slapping Guo Jiarui’s cheek with a swift blow. He had already talked too much with Guo Jiarui, and now taking direct action seemed more convincing.

After being slapped by Lu Yu, Guo Jiarui’s cheek immediately swelled up, as if it had been ironed, excruciating pain making his face look miserable!

”Guo Jiarui, my patience is limited, and I’m not negotiating with you!”

With one hand, Lu Yu gripped Guo Jiarui’s throat as if lifting a chick, and threw him to the ground!

Bam!

Guo Jiarui fell to the ground with a dull thud, spat out a mouthful of blood, and looked at Lu Yu in terror, fear written all over his eyes.

”I’ll say it again, fifty million! Buy your own life!”

The fruit knife in Lu Yu’s hand embedded itself into the wooden coffee table, as he said, ”Agree, and everything will be fine. If not, I guarantee you won’t see the sunrise tomorrow!”

When Lu Yu said this, a formless murderous aura enveloped Guo Jiarui entirely.

Feeling this murderous aura, Guo Jiarui felt as if he had fallen into an ice cave, looking at Lu Yu in shock, his heart couldn’t help but tremble.

He saw Lu Yu’s eyes fixed fiercely on him, like an ancient beast with that chilling murderous aura, pressing down on him until he almost choked.

”Fine, fine, I’ll give you the money,” Guo Jiarui said, ”But all the banks are closed now, I can’t transfer the money to you.”

”That’s easy, just write me an anonymous check for fifty million, and I’ll handle the rest,” Lu Yu said coldly.

Five years ago, wire transfers were not popular, and anonymous checks were the safest and most reliable form of transfer. After Lu Yu finished saying these words, Guo Jiarui was completely dumbfounded. He never expected Lu Yu to come up with such a move!

”Now, take out your checkbook and sign,” Lu Yu said calmly, ”But I warn you, you only have one chance. If I find out you’re playing tricks, don’t blame me for being ruthless!”

Lu Yu’s words were chilling, causing Guo Jiarui to shiver all over in fear. He swallowed hard, and with extreme difficulty, took out his checkbook from his pocket, hesitated a moment, and signed a check for fifty million.
