Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

The next morning, after Lu Yu meticulously washed up, he donned a crisp black suit. This particular suit was the one Xia Bing had helped him pick out last time; at this moment, wearing it made him look exceptionally sharp and capable, proving Xia Bing’s taste and judgment were indeed spot-on.

On the bus, Lu Yu watched luxury cars pass by outside the window and felt utterly resigned. Recalling the days when the Lu Family was still prestigious, he wouldn’t even bother driving BMWs or Mercedes-Benzes. He bought two Rolls-Royce Phantoms at once, but now, he had to squeeze onto a bus for his daily commute.

The bus speed during rush hour was predictable, and although Lu Yu didn’t live far from Victory Group, it still took a full half hour to get there. This made Lu Yu long even more for the days when he had a private car.

After hurrying along, Lu Yu finally arrived at the entrance of Shengtian Group Building. Standing in front of the Victory Group’s lobby, Lu Yu was momentarily stunned.

Inside Victory Group were more than thirty security guards, each standing with hands behind their backs, lined up in two rows in front of the lobby, their imposing figures in black suits making quite an impression.

The security guards also noticed Lu Yu at this moment, suddenly snapped to attention, and said in unison, ”Good morning, Manager Lu!”

Their words were extremely synchronized, sounding incredibly impactful. The employees of Victory Group arriving for work couldn’t help but feel astonished.

The security department was known for being notoriously lazy, so seeing them lined up here to welcome Lu Yu came as a huge surprise to everyone.

At that moment, Leng Qingqiu also happened to arrive at Victory Group. Witnessing the scene left her equally surprised. Even though she had been managing Victory Group for a while, she herself had never received such treatment.

While Leng Qingqiu was still in shock, she saw the bruised Wu Song from yesterday come running up to Lu Yu, salute smartly, and said, ”Vice Manager of the Security Department, Wu Song, reporting to Manager Lu. The morning exercises for all security personnel are complete. Please give your instructions!”

”Wu Song, what is this about?” Lu Yu asked in confusion, seeing Wu Song before him.

”Boss, didn’t you say we should earn our pay properly? After some thought yesterday, we figured this would best meet your expectations,” Wu Song said to Lu Yu with a grin, his words full of flattery.

After work yesterday, he learned Lu Yu’s identity from a beauty at the front desk. After finding out, he had figured everything out.

Who was Lu Yu? He was the fiancé of the president; for all he knew, they might even have gotten their marriage certificate already. It wasn’t possible for the president to let her fiancé remain in the security department forever, so as long as Wu Song maintained good relations with Lu Yu, it would only be natural for Lu Yu to help him climb the ranks.

Upon hearing Wu Song’s words, Lu Yu couldn’t help but nod, and then he said, ”Very well, now all of you brothers go patrol! Remember what I said yesterday: when trouble arises, don’t hesitate — just do it. Regardless of who they might be, if someone causes a disturbance at Victory Group, without question, give them a beating first!”

”Yes, Boss!”

Upon hearing Lu Yu, all thirty security personnel shouted in unison, creating a massive wave of sound that was quite shocking. After saying this, all the security guards immediately dispersed and returned to their posts.

Seeing this scene, Leng Qingqiu was completely dumbfounded. She initially arranged for Lu Yu to work in the security department following the contract terms, providing him with work, food, and accommodation. She never expected Lu Yu to transform the previously lazy security department in just one day, to her great astonishment!

Originally, she was just fulfilling the contract, never hoping Lu Yu would manage the security department well, because in her eyes, Lu Yu was just a playboy who indulged in revelry and wouldn’t know how to manage. But the scene before her truly shocked her.

She knew best who the people in the security department were: a bunch of rugged men straight out of the military, each burly and skillful, with no one willing to listen to anyone else. Previously, Victory Group had tried assigning two security department managers, but neither was respected — they were either beaten up or completely ignored. This was the reason why the manager position in the security department had remained vacant.

Even someone like Wu Song, who had a background in special forces, took over a year to tame his subordinates and would still consult them when issues arose.

But Lu Yu, despite causing a bit of a stir yesterday, managed to have all those security department ’masters’ obediently following orders in less than twenty-four hours, which indeed made Leng Qingqiu reevaluate Lu Yu.

”Lu Yu!”

With these thoughts, Leng Qingqiu shouted at Lu Yu from behind, ”Come over here!”

”What’s up, honey?”

Upon hearing Leng Qingqiu’s words, Lu Yu walked leisurely to Leng Qing, asking with a relaxed tone.

”How did you manage to get them to behave like that?” Leng Qingqiu looked at Lu Yu and asked, now intrigued by how Lu Yu made his team of security guards so obedient.

”Simple, I just fought them,” Lu Yu said matter-of-factly to Leng Qingqiu, ”If someone doesn’t obey, I beat them until they do. If someone doesn’t listen, I beat them until they do. That’s how it was. Didn’t you come to talk to me about this yesterday?”

Hearing this, Leng Qingqiu was taken aback, then said, ”It’s that simple?”

”That simple!” Lu Yu said, ”Didn’t I tell you yesterday? Violence might not be the best way to solve problems, but it’s the simplest and most effective. Between men, there’s no problem a fight can’t solve. If there is, then fight another round. It’s that easy.”

This theory was something Lu Yu learned from the jungle law on a deserted island; if you want others to listen to you, you must be stronger than them!

Upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, Leng Qingqiu was stunned, then realized that Lu Yu’s line of thought was on a completely different wavelength from hers. With this realization, she sighed helplessly and headed towards the elevator.

Seeing this, Lu Yu shrugged, then leisurely returned to his office, expertly opened his computer, and embarked on his gaming journey for the day.
