Urban Supreme Evil Young Master

A moment later, inside the interrogation room at the LA City Police Department.

Lu Yu sat in the interrogation room, looking at Meng Yue in front of him. His face showed a hint of helplessness. He finally understood the saying ”enemies are bound to meet,” as he’d just had a ’full disclosure’ encounter with this beautiful woman in the bathroom yesterday. Less than twenty-four hours later, they found themselves sitting face to face. Sometimes fate really is a jerk.

”Uh, miss,”

Looking at the serious expression on Meng Yue’s face, Lu Yu spoke somewhat aggrievedly, ”Aren’t I the victim in all this? This doesn’t seem like the kind of treatment I should be getting, right? Are you sure this isn’t revenge for what happened in the bathroom yesterday?”

Other victims are comforted and taken care of by doctors after being kidnapped, while he was directly sent to the interrogation room.

At this moment, Meng Yue was looking at the photos of the three bodies found at the scene. She was momentarily stunned upon hearing Lu Yu’s words, and then a slight blush appeared on her face.

Thinking about what happened in the bathroom yesterday, a rosy hue crept up onto Meng Yue’s cheeks. It was the first time she’d ever seen a man’s private part. The unexpected image continued to linger in her mind even after an entire night of trying to forget it, leaving her sleepless.

That’s why, when she received Xia Bing’s report earlier, Meng Yue quickly threw herself into the case, hoping that work would help her forget about yesterday’s incident.

She hadn’t expected this case to be related to Lu Yu when she arrived at the scene!

At this very moment, the image of Lu Yu’s body from yesterday flashed vividly in her mind the instant she heard Lu Yu’s words!

Recalling her encounter with Lu Yu’s ’little brother’ while wrapped in a towel made her face flush bright red once again.

”Enough talk. Even if you’re a victim, I’m here to ask you a few questions. Do you have any objections?” Meng Yue slammed the table and looked at Lu Yu. Her voice was very firm, hoping to hide her blush in this way.

”Alright, alright, you’ve got the power, you go ahead,” Lu Yu said, looking at the blushing face of Meng Yue, his tone full of resignation.

Hearing Lu Yu’s words, Meng Yue’s expression changed again, her chest heaving with emotion as she sulkily said, ”Spill it, how did the three thugs die?”

”The three thugs died?”

Hearing Meng Yue’s question, Lu Yu was taken aback and pretended to be shocked, as if he truly had no idea.

”You don’t know?” Meng Yue looked at Lu Yu with an expression of disbelief. It turned out that this kidnap victim had no idea the thugs were dead.

”I was knocked out with a stun gun as soon as I got in the car. How would I know?”

Lu Yu replied, his tone full of indifference, as if he genuinely didn’t know.

This statement left Meng Yue momentarily stunned. Among the evidence collected at the scene, there was indeed a stun gun. After medical examination, Lu Yu did have traces of being electrocuted, corroborating his story with the evidence.

”If that’s the case, do you know why they kidnapped you?” Meng Yue asked again, her curiosity piqued.

”I have even less of a clue about that,” Lu Yu said immediately upon hearing Meng Yue’s words, ”I mean, I just got back from being shipwrecked on a deserted island, first got mistaken for a pervert, then during my first day back at work, I got kidnapped, and now, as a victim, I’m being interrogated. I’m full of grievances myself!”

Listening to Lu Yu, Meng Yue couldn’t help but nod.

They had already investigated and verified Lu Yu’s identity, discovering that he had indeed been missing for five years and only returned to LA City yesterday, after an unplanned ’full-disclosure’ with Meng Yue.

Contemplating, Meng Yue glanced at Lu Yu’s slightly frail figure, eliminating her last remaining doubts.

Judging by the evidence collected, including a broken pair of handcuffs and one of the thugs’ massive abdominal injuries, everything pointed to Lu Yu being just a simple victim.

After all, in Meng Yue’s view, Lu Yu’s ’frail’ appearance didn’t seem capable of inflicting internal injuries on a strong thug nor breaking handcuffs made of reinforced steel.

With that in mind, Meng Yue placed the recorded statement in front of Lu Yu and said, ”Alright, the questioning is over. If you have no objections, just sign here, and you can leave.”

”No problem, I’ll definitely drop by to express my thanks this time...”

Upon hearing this, Lu Yu began to speak, then his gaze fell on Meng Yue’s delicate and pretty face, causing him to frown.

Seeing Lu Yu’s sudden gaze, Meng Yue slightly shifted and defensively covered her ample chest, saying, ”You pervert, what are you looking at?”

”Well, miss, you’re unhealthy…”

Lu Yu responded, looking at Meng Yue with a hint of seriousness in his tone, without any trace of humor.

Five years on a deserted island taught Lu Yu more than just combat skills. He knew that in the wilderness, illness was one of the biggest obstacles to survival!

Before venturing into the business world, Lu Yu’s parents were once renowned medical researchers nationwide. Even after, they worked in the field of biotechnology. When he was young, they imparted systematic knowledge to him, much of which had been forgotten amid his lifestyle of indulgence.

However, after drinking the mysterious liquid from that container, it not only enhanced his body but also significantly sharpened his mental acuity.

The knowledge he once learned and books he’d read resurfaced in his mind after drinking the liquid, clearer than ever!

It was the combination of this past knowledge and five years of survival experience that allowed Lu Yu to quickly discern Meng Yue’s abnormality.

”You!”

Meng Yue’s face flushed with anger upon hearing Lu Yu say she was unhealthy. She had just been seen by him yesterday and now he was saying she had a condition. This was something even her relatives couldn’t tolerate; she refused to either!

As she prepared to lose her temper, Lu Yu cut in, ”Wait, don’t get upset. Have you been feeling irritable, suffering from frequent insomnia? And has your monthly visitor significantly decreased its visits?”
