NTR: Barbarian Harem Conquest

Kane pulled the shirt over still-damp skin and left the training grounds without looking back.

The night air cut through the heat of sex and exertion.

Marisa’s scent clung to him, the faint trace of his own release on her thighs when he had set her down.

He didn’t bother trying to mask it.

There was no time and no point.

The guards at the outer stair nodded with the same new respect the Measures had bought.

None of them commented on his state.

The guest-chamber door opened on two women already awake.

Kessa sat on the edge of the wide bed, striped tail flicking in short, irritated arcs, ears forward.

Griselda stood near the high window, wings folded, yellow eyes reflecting the low lamp light. Both of them turned as he entered. Both of them inhaled.

Kessa spoke first.

”You smell like her. Again. And like you just finished fucking her against something hard.”

Kane closed the door, set Mjoldr against the wall, and began unlacing the shirt he had only just put on.

”I did.”

Griselda’s gaze moved over the fresh sweat, the faintly reopened knuckle, the way he still carried heat in his shoulders.

”Training grounds,” she said quietly.

”Yes.”

Kessa stood. The possessive heat in her posture was immediate, but she kept it leashed—barely.

”You left our bed, went out into the cold, trained until you were steaming, and then put your cock in the emperor’s sister against a post. And you come back in here like that is normal night business.”

Kane met her eyes directly.

”It happened. I’m not going to lie about it. Things are moving that needed a private conversation with her. The conversation ended the way it ended. That is all you get tonight.”

Kessa’s ears flattened a fraction.

”All I get. You keep saying that. After the Measures, you promised you would take me apart properly.”

”I will keep the promise. Not tonight.”

Kane’s voice stayed even, stripped of apology.

”Tonight I need quiet and time to think. Both of you should sleep while you can. The next days will not be quiet.”

Griselda studied him for a longer moment, reading the tension under the calm, the way his attention was already half elsewhere.

”You are planning something that does not include us yet,” she said.

”I can see it in the way you stand.”

”I’m planning the next necessary steps. When they require you, you will know. Until then, rest.”

Kessa looked ready to push harder, then exhaled through her nose and looked away, striped tail lashing once more against the bedframe.

”Fine. Keep your secrets for one more night. But if I smell her on you again without an explanation that is not ’necessary conversation,’ we are going to have a different kind of talk.”

Kane nodded once, accepting the boundary without debate.

He finished stripping the shirt, washed the worst of the sweat and sex from his skin at the basin, and waited until both women had settled back onto the bed, Kessa with her back to him, Griselda still watching quietly, before he took a seat at the low table and let the chamber fall into silence.

Only when their breathing had evened into something close to sleep did he let the real work begin.

The system window opened at his focus, clean blue text hovering over the dark wood of the table.

[Private Analysis Mode]

[Subject: Grathak of Berakamon]

[Known variables: base physical superiority, two hundred years of densified experience, refined demon-essence supplementation confirmed]

[Estimated densification boost from refined essence: +18–27 % effective strength and recovery rate]

[Pain resistance: Elevated]

[Fatigue onset: Significantly Delayed]

[Viable weak points from prior contact: left-side rib juncture under the deeper chest cut line, right-eye cluster residual damage from Guardian manifestation, throat cartilage under the jaw hinge when the head is forced upward]

[Recommendation: lethal commitment on first clean opening. Prolonged exchange favors the target.]

Kane read the assessment twice, then began building the plan around it in silence.

Timing windows first.

The private logistics meeting Marisa had confirmed sat two nights away.

That was the cleanest blade, confined space, limited witnesses, no immediate pure-blood audience to spin the story.

If Grathak took another measured dose between now and then, the densification numbers would climb.

The plan had to assume the higher end of the range.

Banners second.

Southern and river-aligned packs were already leaning toward him after the Measures.

They needed to be locked into concrete corridor-hold commitments before the body hit the floor, otherwise the pure-blood faction would fill the vacuum with steel.

Deeper bloodlines were more cautious; some would wait and see, a few would side with whoever still held the center after the first night of blood.

Pure-blood hardliners would move to kill him the moment the news broke.

They had to be isolated or slowed long enough for Marisa’s succession claim to take root.

Forcing the private audience without triggering essence-enhanced defenses meant looking exactly like the man who had accepted the family condition and the trade routes without reservation.

Any visible shift in posture, any extra guards, any sudden interest in the underground levels would warn Grathak.

The mask at the table had to hold through one more full day of talks at minimum.

Contingency if a fresh dose had already been taken: higher Controlled Rage throttle from the first exchange, no testing probes, immediate commitment to the throat or the eye damage.

Accept heavier personal trauma to end it in under a minute.

The system’s emergency recovery protocols would have to carry him through the aftermath long enough to give Marisa the signal and reach the main hall upright.

Kane worked the sequence until the sky beyond the high window began to pale.

He refined angles, discarded two approaches that relied on Grathak underestimating him, and settled on a primary path that used the emperor’s own confidence against him.

When the first true light touched the chamber, he closed the analysis window, rose, and collected Mjoldr.

Kessa stirred as he moved toward the door.

”...Where now?”

”Secondary training ground. Do not follow. I need the space empty.”

She watched him go without further argument, though her eyes remained hard. ℴ

Griselda simply nodded once, already understanding that the quiet phase of preparation had begun.

The secondary grounds lay on the lower eastern edge of the palace complex, rarely used, partially walled, open to the morning air.

Kane stripped to the waist again, planted Mjoldr in the earth, and began the real work.

He drilled one-shot killing angles against a larger, faster-recovering opponent for the next three hours without pause.

Feints that pulled a guard high so the spike could drive through the throat.

Short-burst Controlled Rage at eighty percent timed to a single decisive cut rather than a prolonged measurement.

Footwork that kept him outside the full reach of arms densified by essence while still closing for the finish.

Every sequence assumed Grathak would not stay down from damage that would have dropped an ordinary beast warrior.

Every sequence ended with a killing stroke.
