Super Gene Hunting Ground

Elder Qin, as a miner who suffered losses, was also persuaded by Kai Qi and others to chip in money to hire a Mercenary Army.

Elder Qin thought it over and finally came to a realization.

”Forget it, I’m giving up on my mine. I’m not putting down any money, you guys go ahead and do it.”

”Elder Qin, when we take control of the Primitive Forest, don’t regret it.”

Kai Qi said discontentedly.

Everyone else had paid, only Elder Qin was unwilling to contribute.

”Alas, I’ve gone bankrupt this time; I’m done with this, you guys go off and make your fortune.”

Elder Qin lamented.

After Kai Qi and the others left, Elder Qin hurriedly ran to David’s base, pulled him along to meet Yang Xiao.

Elder Qin had been looked down on by Yang Xiao for mining privately last time; he wanted to take this opportunity to make a good impression.

”Yang Xiao, those miners have pooled together over a hundred billion Crystal Coins for the Mercenary Army under Tang Qian. I heard that Tang Qian will soon come to deal with the Demon Beasts in the Primitive Forest, and he intends to control the entire forest. You better prepare early.

They invited me to contribute money, but I refused them outright. I truly did not get involved with them this time!”

Yang Xiao looked at Elder Qin and smiled,

”Elder Qin, not bad, you’ve made progress this time around!”

Elder Qin, flattered by Yang Xiao’s praise, replied awkwardly:

”I’m not someone who doesn’t learn from mistakes. After making a mistake once, how could I possibly repeat it?”

”How much do you know about the Mercenary Army?”

”I know a bit. The Great Captain of this Mercenary Army is named Tang Qian, at the Empire Middle Level Realm, leading five hundred mercenaries, all of whom have Empire Level Primary Level Cultivation,

These people are well-equipped and valiant in battle, have helped private miners counter nearby wild men and Demon Beasts multiple times and are very experienced—not to be underestimated.”

David also said:

”I’m familiar with Tang Qian; I’ve hired him before to handle wild men and Monsters near the mining site. His subordinates are very powerful in combat,

and moreover, Tang Qian has five Warships. These Warships are immensely powerful; they can engage Empire Level Evolvers remotely from mid-air,

Master Yang must not underestimate him this time.”

”Warship?”

Yang Xiao was surprised; although he knew Witch Star had advanced technology, he had never seen a Warship from Witch Star, and usually only used regular small Spaceships.

”A Warship is similar to our Spaceships, but it is equipped with Laser Cannons that can launch powerful laser Energy, attacking Empire Level Evolvers directly from the air with formidable lethality.”

”Tang Qian’s commonly used battle formation is for Warships to cruise mid-air, with warriors coordinating on the ground, attacking jointly from the sky and the ground, invincible.”

...

Tang Qian received the hundred billion Crystal Coins collected by Kai Qi and others, and three days later, he arrived near the Primitive Forest with five hundred mercenaries aboard five Warships.

The five Warships patrolled over the Primitive Forest, and soon, they located a pond.

Hundreds of Monsters were drinking water around the pond.

Tang Qian watched excitedly.

”Fire!”

”Boom!”

The five Warships launched high-energy Laser Cannons at the Monsters near the pond,

”Boom boom boom…”

The Monsters around the pond were blown away.

Some Emperor Level Demon Beasts instantly unfolded Defense Light Screens to block, but the Warships’ powerful Laser Cannons shattered some of the Demon Beasts’ Defense Light Screens.

Dozens of powerful Demon Beasts leaped into the mid-air, attacking the Warships.

”Buzz!”

The warship activated a powerful Defense Light Screen, enveloping the entire warship.

The attack storm from the Demon Beasts caused severe vibrations to the warship.

Five warships, with a whoosh, elevated over a hundred meters instantly, their speed far surpassing that of the Demon Beasts.

The warships began moving quickly, while accurately targeting the Demon Beasts in mid-air.

”Boom, boom, boom...”

The air was filled with loud explosions, and clouds of blood mist burst open, quickly annihilating dozens of powerful Demon Beasts.

At this moment, other Demon Beasts and Monsters on the ground all scattered into the forest, running far away and hiding.

Tang Qian sat inside the warship laughing loudly,

”Damn it, a bunch of Demon Beasts dared to attack our Witch Star people’s mine, if we don’t show them some intensity, they really think they can dominate the Purple Origin Star, haha... Brothers, pursue the victory, watch for safety, kill!”

...

Tang Qian led five warships, waging battle throughout the forest for three days, killing hundreds of Monsters.

After that, all the Monsters began to hide, making it impossible for Tang Qian to find any groups of Demon Beasts.

Hunting Demon Beasts in a Primitive Forest spanning tens of thousands of square kilometers is quite challenging.

...

Yang Xiao convened Wildman King, Ah Bao, Qing Mu, Zhao Benling, Gu Beifeng, and Du Tianxing for a meeting.

”The sole purpose of today’s meeting is to eliminate Tang Qian’s Mercenary Army, leaving none behind. Everyone, think of any possible strategies.”

Wildman King took a puff of his cigarette and said indifferently:

”If it’s ground combat, we can easily handle his five hundred mercenaries. The only problem is his warship. The warship is very powerful, especially its speed; we can’t catch up to it in the air.”

Ah Bao, who had been feeding the Demon Beasts during this period, grew fond of them. Now that Tang Qian had killed hundreds, it felt as if someone had killed pets he had raised, filling him with anger.

”These past few days, Tang Qian killed a lot of Demon Beasts. I wish I could go find them and have a decisive battle now, and eat their flesh raw!”

Qing Mu suddenly remembered something and said:

”If we battle the Mercenary Army, there’s a fatal danger we now face.”

”Uh?”

Everyone looked at Qing Mu.

”Previously, our Wildman tribes lived scattered throughout the Primitive Forest, making it difficult for the enemy to find us or encircle us all at once.

But now, most of our Wildmen have gathered to live in Wildman Valley. If the Mercenary Army bombards us from their warships mid-air, the consequences are unimaginable.”

Qing Mu’s words alarmed everyone.

Yang Xiao thought for a moment and said:

”There is a way to deal with the Mercenary Army. They fly in the sky during the day but must land to rest at night. If we find their resting place at night, we can deploy a thousand elite, along with the Demon Beasts, to encircle and annihilate them.”

”Hmm!”

Everyone nodded.

Du Tianxing said:

”That’s right, just like when the people from Ice Wolf Island invaded Xuanming Country, we encircled their airport and destroyed their planes. If they can’t take to the skies, they’ll have to fight us on the ground.”

Gu Beifeng expressed some concerns:

”Yang Xiao, will the Mercenary Army attack our mines? After all, the miners there are all Wildmen.”

Qin Lu said:

”No, according to the rules of Karachi City, the mine is registered under the name David, and people from the Great Dragon Empire can’t attack their own mines, otherwise, they would face capital punishment.”
