Chapter 1532: Chapter 527: Shirendil Plateau (Part 2)

The issue mentioned earlier was caused by an inspector under the Isodre School who wasn’t thorough enough in their work, failing to notice the differences between their own school’s demon statue data and that submitted by the Bixiu Mechanization School. This led to suspicions of theft by the Bixiu Mechanization School.

”Strange, would the Isodre School be so kind?”

”They were blocking us before, and now they suddenly approved? Could there be a bigger trap waiting for us?”

Bradley rubbed his chin, feeling very suspicious.

.....

Sword Holder Headquarters.

”Olena, you say Admiral Edward has sent word that after Lord Rein resolved the situation over at Mingster, he didn’t return to the Imperial City, but went straight to the Shirendil Plateau?”

Major General Tatia stood up to confirm when she heard the news.

”Yes, Major General Tatia.” Olena nodded, she was equally startled to hear this news.

Because what this move implies is quite evident!

”Oh no, Lord Rein is being too impulsive!”

”The situation at the Shirendil Plateau is complex, and Stuart, with the title of ’Shield of Rock’, is a formidable presence even among the Empire’s epic-level powerhouses.”

”Moreover, the other side benefits from the advantages of their own school’s base, and even the old Imperial Guardians have to show some respect to the Isodre School at Shirendil.”

”I need to report this to Marshal Alfred immediately.”

”This...”

Hearing Major General Tatia say this made Olena’s heart tighten, and she couldn’t help but start feeling worried.

....

Meanwhile.

Shirendil Plateau.

At the center hall of the Nirheim, Isodre School Station.

A wizard in a brown wizard robe was respectfully reporting something to an elder surrounded by an indistinct earth element shield.

The elder was the Sect Leader of the Isodre School, the Dawn Wizard Stuart Abel, bearing the title of ’Shield of Rock’.

”Right, Malcolm, have you informed the others to stop?” Stuart inquired.

”I have, sir. We have also approved the Bixiu Mechanization School’s promotion application and informed the two people sent to Mingster to return immediately.”

”However..... according to the communication officer, although the notice was given, they have yet to return.”

”Hmm? They haven’t returned?” Stuart frowned slightly and asked.

”Yes, I think it might be the warm hospitality of Marquis Orens that has captivated them. After all, compared to the Imperial City, Nirheim’s entertainment activities seem a bit lacking.” Malcolm explained.

If it were him, he would also indulge in the warm hospitality of the great nobles of the Imperial City; after all, wizards are human too.

”What about Rein? Where is he now?” Stuart suddenly asked.

”It’s been said that after arriving in the Imperial City, he immediately returned home, not even attending subsequent imperial high-level meetings and banquets.”

”Investigate further!”

”Investigate Rein’s whereabouts? Do you suspect Rein has already gone to Mingster?”

”Yes, I’ll get on it right away.” Malcolm suddenly realized something, showing surprise.

At this moment, a young man in a brown wizard robe hurried over and said, ”Sect Leader, news from the Imperial City says that Rein left the Imperial City half a day ago and headed to Mingster.”

”Half a day ago?”

”Not good! Could it be that...” Malcolm’s expression changed, and he immediately realized that the Sect Leader’s previous suspicion was likely correct.

”Malcolm, find a way to track Rein’s whereabouts.” Stuart said in a deep voice.

”Yes!”

As Malcolm turned to leave, Stuart waved his hand, and the young wizard by his side also left the hall.

After everyone left the hall, Stuart pondered for a moment and began drawing a complex pattern in the air. It was a pattern resembling a spider.

As the pattern lit up, an ancient voice sounded: ”Stuart, why are you contacting me directly today? Aren’t you afraid of being discovered by the Empire?”

”Graham, that Rein is likely headed for the Shirendil Plateau,” Stuart said seriously, ignoring the jest in the voice.

”Hmm? That Rein who killed Staven? The youngest epic-level powerhouse of the Empire?” The person on the other end, Graham, was also taken aback after listening.

”Correct.”

”Wasn’t it said that he and the ’Red Queen’ Menia were defeated and imprisoned by the Nether Sea Goddess?”

”That information was incorrect.”

”I see, you’re saying he’s coming for you? So, you want my help?” Graham immediately understood Stuart’s sudden contact.

”I need your help to deal with this Rein, and in return, I will agree to the Tutkash School’s private management of the entire western Shirendil Plateau.” Stuart said solemnly.

”Not enough! Add the two Brighton tribes in the central region too.” After a moment of thought, Graham smiled and stated his condition.

”Why do you want so many Brightons? It seems the previous rumors were true, you’re cooperating with the Evil God.....?”

”It’s merely a witchcraft experiment; I need the giant bloodline from the Brightons. My condition is not excessive, Stuart, take your time to consider.” Graham explained.

At the same time, he was certain Stuart wouldn’t delay too long because Rein was looking for Stuart and the Isodre School, not him.

He could afford to wait.

”Deal!”
