Chapter 1494: Chapter 513: The Returning Airship (Part 3)

Menia gazed at the faint silhouette of the mermaid princess within Hela’s towering watery avatar and said.

”Wait! Prince Menia, there’s an island not far ahead, believe me, if we lure her there, I can win!” Rein said urgently.

”Hmm?” Hearing Rein’s confident tone and the news of an island nearby, Menia immediately reconsidered the idea of a desperate attack.

”But my physical strength is nearly exhausted; I’m afraid I can’t maintain the Giant Dragon Form for much longer...”

”Prince Menia, don’t worry, I am here!” Rein said solemnly.

At this moment, Rein didn’t notice Menia behind him, whose beautiful eyes were assessing him deeply and meaningfully.

Meanwhile, the Nether Sea Goddess Hela wasn’t in a hurry to attack, instead leisurely scrutinizing Rein in his Three-headed Dragon form, and said:

”Mortal, you truly surprise me; after all this fighting, the Dragon’s offspring at your side is already exhausted, yet you seem as fresh as when the battle began.”

”However, this time, I want to see how much longer your strength lasts.”

”Want to test my stamina? You won’t be disappointed! Although, your foul black water could use a good rinse.”

Upon hearing this, Menia beside Rein couldn’t help but be astonished, casting a glance as if to say ’Dare to say such things? Aren’t you afraid the Nether Sea Goddess Hela will go all out against you?’

”Blasphemer! Blasphemer!!!”

”Mortal! The Nether Sea will completely engulf you! Just die!”

Indeed, Rein’s words once again made Hela tremble with rage, causing her hundred-meter high water body to shower down in fury, and her previous calm, composed expression vanished completely.

However, just as she was about to unleash a dark water canopy upon Rein and Menia once more, suddenly, hundreds of densely packed red iron balls came crashing down from the sky into her area!

”Huh?”

A slightly puzzled Hela raised her eyes and discovered that the Empire airships that had previously fled had returned.

The power of the airship’s heavy side cannons couldn’t harm the Nether Sea Goddess Hela, but the issue was the cannonballs weren’t targeting just Hela, but also included the Flying Fish Knights and Manta Knights.

The strength of these Flying Knights naturally couldn’t withstand the heavy artillery’s attack, especially since the cannons had been upgraded to the most advanced in the Empire in terms of power and range; otherwise, they wouldn’t be equipped on the visiting airships.

Thus, the densely packed encirclement of the Sea God Sect’s flying knights suddenly fell into considerable chaos.

”Go!”

Rein took a deep look at the returning Empire airship formation, knowing their appearance was meant to create an opportunity to breach the encirclement.

Without hesitation, because each second was fiercely contested by the Empire’s soldiers, Rein immediately grabbed the nearly depleted Menia, who was struggling to maintain Giant Dragon Form, and swiftly rushed out of the disorganized Sea God Sect’s flying knights, heading toward the island’s location.

”Trying to flee!”

Just having blasted an airship with a black beam, Hela saw this scene and immediately chased after them.

Soon, Hela naturally also discovered the island ahead.

However, driven by anger, she didn’t think the island would make any difference.

In her view, the island wasn’t large, and even if she had to retreat, she could comfortably withdraw and return to the sea, so without hesitation, she wielded the Energy Trident and swiftly followed Rein onto the island.

Half a minute later.

Having reached approximately the island’s center, Rein turned to face the Nether Sea Goddess Hela.

”Finally stopped running? Do you think because this isn’t over the sea, I can’t freely change my avatar?”

After half a minute of pursuit, Hela had calmed down, believing she understood Rein’s intention, her lips curling slightly in a mocking manner.

”At least it won’t be as unfair as at sea.”

Rein gently placed the human-form Menia, who was exhausted, down and guarded him behind.

”Oh really? Then I hope you truly believe that.”

Upon hearing Rein’s words, Hela laughed.

At this moment, Rein and Menia also noticed the vibrations from the island ground, seeing four gigantic avatars of the Nether Sea Goddess Hela striding in from the northeast, southwest, and northwest.

Hela had unexpectedly manipulated a massive amount of seawater, transforming into five avatars at once, surrounding Rein and Menia from all directions!
