The Unveiling of Secret Queen

Leony Davidson would surely think, if an accident occurred in the treatment of Marcella Davidson, and that accident happened to be connected with Nathalie Quinlan.

Then with Kenzie Nabours’ personality of loving and spoiling his wife, would he let Nathalie off?

Would Kenzie and Marcella still entrust everything to Nathalie?

Then it would be natural for Leony Davidson to do something foolish in a fit of impulse!

All the Davidson Family relatives are watching here.

The old butler happened to recall at this time, lifting his head to look in Leony Davidson’s direction, saying thoughtfully: ”I remember that yesterday afternoon Ms. Davidson came to the estate, but left in a hurry not long after arriving, and didn’t even drink a sip of water before she left.”

”I was curious why she came and left so quickly, and then at night, Madam had an incident.”

”What do you mean by that, are you implying Leony poisoned the medicine?!” Mrs. Davidson reacted particularly strongly, her well-maintained face flushed with anger, a tinge of iron blue showing through the red, staring fiercely at the old butler’s eyes, clearly with a warning in her gaze.

”Speak with evidence!”

Mrs. Davidson stared at the old butler as she spoke, took a deep breath, and placed a comforting hand on Leony Davidson’s back, as if reassuring her not to fear.

Then she didn’t give the old butler any chance to refute, speaking firmly: ”Recently, Marcella’s health hasn’t been good, and I asked Leony to visit her at the estate more often. Yesterday afternoon, it was also me who called Leony, asking her to return. Using this as a reason to accuse her of poisoning is truly ridiculous!”

The more Mrs. Davidson spoke, the angrier she became, her expression particularly furious: ”Leony and Marcella are family, since childhood Leony respected her Aunt the most, what reason does she have to poison Marcella?”

The Davidson Family relatives originally found the accusation of ’Leony Davidson poisoning’ somewhat absurd, and seeing Mrs. Davidson’s strong reaction, they too felt Jaycent Kingsley and the old butler were being a bit excessive.

Mrs. Davidson had been silent until now, when she stopped the still resentful Mrs. Davidson: ”Enough.”

”Mom!” Mrs. Davidson called out in anger.

Mrs. Davidson had a stern face, ignoring her.

Unwilling, Mrs. Davidson turned her head aside, too angry to speak further.

Mrs. Davidson then came forward, her old eyes looking at Jaycent Kingsley, her gaze somewhat displeased and cold, saying: ”You need to understand who truly is family to you!”

After saying this, she also didn’t let Jaycent speak further, treating him with the same attitude as Mrs. Davidson, directly ignoring him.

Mrs. Davidson publicly declared: ”What Jaycent just speculated is purely his own conjecture; I apologize on his behalf to everyone, there’s no need to take a child’s words to heart. I’ll have a proper talk with him later. Such things shouldn’t be spoken carelessly... it ruins a person’s reputation.”

As it seemed the storm was about to be smoothed over by the Old Lady’s approach, the matter seemed to end inconclusively.

Just then.

Kenzie Nabours, who had been silent, seemed to make a decision, closing and reopening his eyes, his bloodshot eyes looking at Mrs. Davidson who was reassuring the Davidson Family relatives in the corridor, and questioned on the spot: ”Mom, do you really think Jaycent is speaking carelessly?”

”...”

Mrs. Davidson hadn’t anticipated his intervention, turned back, instinctively frowning, and didn’t answer the question immediately.

Kenzie let out a soft laugh, as if seeing through their facade, ceased to look at her, and said indifferently: ”If this is what family means, I think Marcella would not want to be bound by the term ’Family’ any longer.”
